1Yna gwelais nefoedd newydd a daear newydd. Roedd y ddaear a'r awyr gyntaf wedi diflannu. Doedd y môr ddim yn bodoli ddim mwy. a 2Dyma fi'n gweld y ddinas sanctaidd, y Jerwsalem newydd, yn dod i lawr oddi wrth Dduw yn y nefoedd. Roedd yn edrych fel merch ifanc wedi ei gwisgo'n hardd ar gyfer ei phriodas. 3Wedyn clywais lais o'r orsedd yn cyhoeddi'n glir, “Bellach mae pabell Duw yng nghanol y bobloedd. Bydd yn byw yn eu canol nhw, a byddan nhw'n bobl iddo. Bydd Duw ei hun gyda nhw, a fe fydd eu Duw nhw. b 4Bydd yn sychu pob deigryn o'u llygaid nhw. Fydd dim marwolaeth o hyn ymlaen, dim galaru, dim wylo, dim poen. Mae pethau fel yr oedden nhw wedi mynd.” 5Dyma'r Un oedd yn eistedd ar yr orsedd yn dweud, “Edrychwch! Dw i'n gwneud popeth yn newydd!” Meddai wedyn, “Ysgrifenna hynny i lawr. Mae beth dw i'n ei ddweud yn gwbl ddibynadwy ac yn wir.” 6Meddai wrtho i: “Dyna ddiwedd y cwbl! y Dechrau a'r Diwedd. Bydda i'n rhoi diod o ffynnon dŵr y bywyd i'r rhai hynny sy'n sychedig – yn rhad ac am ddim! 7Bydd y rhai sy'n ennill y frwydr yn etifeddu'r pethau yma i gyd. Fi fydd eu Duw nhw, a byddan nhw'n blant i mi. 8Ond am y rhai llwfr hynny sydd ddim yn credu, a phobl ffiaidd, llofruddion, pobl sy'n anfoesol yn rhywiol, y rhai sy'n ymarfer dewiniaeth ac yn addoli eilun-dduwiau, ac sy'n dweud celwydd – y llyn tân sy'n llosgi brwmstan ydy eu lle nhw! Dyna'r ‛ail farwolaeth‛.” 9Yna dyma un o'r saith angel oedd yn dal y powlenni llawn o'r saith pla olaf yn dod ata i a dweud, “Tyrd, a gwna i ddangos y briodferch i ti, sef gwraig yr Oen.” 10Dyma'r angel yn fy nghodi dan ddylanwad yr Ysbryd a mynd a fi i fynydd mawr uchel. Dangosodd y ddinas sanctaidd i mi, Jerwsalem, yn dod i lawr oddi wrth Dduw yn y nefoedd. 11Roedd ysblander Duw ei hun yn tywynnu ohoni; roedd hi'n disgleirio fel gem anhygoel o werthfawr – fel iasbis, yn glir fel grisial! 12Roedd anferth o wal uchel o'i chwmpas gyda deuddeg giât ynddi, a deuddeg angel yn gwarchod y giatiau. Roedd enwau deuddeg llwyth Israel wedi eu hysgrifennu ar y giatiau. 13Roedd tair giât ar yr ochr ddwyreiniol, tair i'r gogledd, tair i'r de a thair i'r gorllewin. 14Roedd gan wal y ddinas ddeuddeg carreg sylfaen, ac roedd enwau deuddeg cynrychiolydd yr Oen wedi eu hysgrifennu ar y rheiny. 15Roedd ffon fesur aur gan yr angel oedd yn siarad gyda mi, er mwyn iddo fesur y ddinas, ei giatiau a'i waliau. 16Roedd y ddinas yn berffaith sgwâr. Pan fesurodd yr angel y ddinas gyda'r ffon fesur cafodd ei bod hi'n 2,250 cilomedr o hyd, ac mai dyna hefyd oedd ei lled a'i huchder. 17Pan fesurodd yr angel y wal, cafodd ei bod yn chwe deg pum metr o drwch – yn ôl y mesur cyffredin. 18Roedd y wal wedi ei hadeiladu o faen iasbis, a'r ddinas wedi ei gwneud o aur pur, mor bur â gwydr. 19Roedd sylfeini waliau'r ddinas wedi eu haddurno gyda phob math o emau gwerthfawr. Maen iasbis oedd y sylfaen cyntaf, saffir oedd yr ail, y trydydd yn galcedon, a'r pedwerydd yn emrallt; 20onics oedd y pumed, carnelian y chweched, saffir melyn y seithfed, beryl yr wythfed, topas y nawfed, a crysopras y degfed; maen iasinth oedd yr unfed ar ddeg ac amethyst oedd y deuddegfed. 21Roedd giatiau'r ddinas wedi eu gwneud o berlau, pob giât unigol wedi ei gwneud o un perl mawr. Ac roedd heol fawr y ddinas yn aur oedd mor bur â gwydr clir! 22Doedd dim teml i'w gweld yn y ddinas, am fod yr Arglwydd Dduw Hollalluog a'r Oen yno, fel teml. 23Does dim angen golau haul na lleuad yn y ddinas chwaith, am fod ysblander Duw ei hun yn ei goleuo hi, a'r Oen fel lamp yn ei goleuo hi. d 24Bydd y cenhedloedd yn byw yn ei golau, a bydd brenhinoedd y ddaear yn dod â'u holl gyfoeth i mewn iddi hi. 25Fydd ddim rhaid i'w giatiau gael eu cau o gwbl, e achos fydd dim nos yno. f 26Bydd holl ysblander a chyfoeth y cenhedloedd yn cael eu dwyn i mewn iddi. 27Ond fydd dim byd aflan yn cael mynd i mewn iddi, nac unrhyw un sy'n gwneud pethau ffiaidd neu'n twyllo chwaith; dim ond y bobl hynny sydd â'u henwau wedi eu hysgrifennu yn Llyfr Bywyd yr Oen.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
