3Bob tro dw i'n meddwl amdanoch chi dw i'n diolch i Dduw am bob un ohonoch chi. 4Dw i'n gweddïo'n daer drosoch chi, ac yn teimlo mor llawen wrth wneud hynny, 5am eich bod chi o'r dechrau cyntaf wedi bod yn bartneriaid i mi yn y gwaith o rannu'r newyddion da. 6Felly dw i'n hollol sicr y bydd Duw, sydd wedi dechrau gwneud pethau mor wych yn eich plith chi, yn dal ati nes bydd wedi gorffen ei waith ar y diwrnod y bydd y Meseia Iesu yn dod yn ôl. 7Dych chi'n sbesial iawn yn fy ngolwg i, felly mae'n naturiol mod i'n teimlo fel hyn amdanoch chi. Dim ots os ydw i'n y carchar neu â nhraed yn rhydd, dych chi bob amser wedi fy helpu i wneud y gwaith mae Duw wedi ei roi i mi – sef y gwaith o amddiffyn a rhannu'r newyddion da am Iesu y Meseia. 8Dim ond Duw sy'n gwybod gymaint o hiraeth sydd gen i amdanoch chi – dw i'n eich caru chi fel mae'r Meseia Iesu ei hun yn eich caru chi! 9Yr hyn dw i'n ei weddïo drosoch chi ydy y bydd eich cariad chi'n mynd o nerth i nerth, ac y byddwch chi'n tyfu yn eich dealltwriaeth o'r gwirionedd a'ch gallu i benderfynu beth sy'n iawn. 10Dw i eisiau i chi ddewis y peth gorau i'w wneud bob amser, a byw yn gwbl onest a di-fai nes i'r Meseia ddod yn ôl. 11Bydd hynny'n dangos eich bod chi wedi'ch achub! Bydd yn dangos canlyniad gwaith Iesu Grist yn eich bywydau, ac wedyn bydd Duw yn cael ei fawrygu a'i foli.Dim byd yn rhwystr i'r newyddion da
12Dw i eisiau i chi wybod, frodyr a chwiorydd, fod beth sydd wedi digwydd i mi wedi troi'n gyfle newydd i rannu'r newyddion da. 13Mae holl filwyr y Gwarchodlu a phawb arall yma yn gwybod fy mod i yn y carchar am fy mod i'n gweithio i'r Meseia. Does neb yma sydd ddim yn gwybod hynny! 14Ac mae'r ffaith fy mod i yn y carchar hefyd wedi helpu'r rhai sy'n credu i fod yn fwy hyderus – does ganddyn nhw ddim ofn rhannu neges Duw. 15Mae'n wir mai cenfigen a chystadleuaeth sy'n ysgogi rhai i gyhoeddi'r neges am y Meseia, ond mae eraill sy'n gwneud hynny am y rhesymau iawn. 16Cariad sy'n eu hysgogi nhw, ac maen nhw'n gwybod mod i yn y carchar i amddiffyn y newyddion da. 17Tynnu sylw atyn nhw eu hunain mae'r grŵp cyntaf – dŷn nhw ddim o ddifri. Yr unig beth maen nhw eisiau ydy gwneud pethau'n anodd i mi tra dw i yn y carchar. 18Ond pa wahaniaeth? Beth bynnag ydy eu rhesymau nhw, y peth pwysig ydy bod y neges am y Meseia yn cael ei chyhoeddi! Mae hynny'n fy ngwneud i'n hapus. A hapus fydda i hefyd! 19Dych chi wrthi'n gweddïo, ac mae Ysbryd Iesu y Meseia yn fy nghynnal i. Felly dw i'n gwybod y bydda i'n cael fy rhyddhau yn y diwedd. a 20Dw i'n edrych ymlaen at y dyfodol yn frwd, ac yn gobeithio na wna i ddim byd i siomi fy Arglwydd. Dw i eisiau bod yn ddewr bob amser, ac yn arbennig felly nawr, fel bod y Meseia yn cael ei fawrygu drwy bopeth dw i'n ei wneud – hyd yn oed petai rhaid i mi farw yma! 21I mi, y Meseia ydy holl ystyr a phwrpas byw, a dw i'n ennill hyd yn oed os bydda i'n cael fy lladd! 22Ond wedyn ar y llaw arall, os ca i fyw bydda i'n gallu dal ati i weithio dros y Meseia Iesu. Beth fyddwn i'n ei ddewis fy hun? Dw i ddim yn gwybod! 23Dw i'n cael fy nhynnu'r naill ffordd a'r llall: Dw i'n dyheu am gael gadael y byd yma i fod gyda'r Meseia am byth – dyna'n sicr ydy'r peth gorau allai ddigwydd i mi, o bell ffordd! 24Ond mae'n well o lawer i chi os ca i aros yn fyw. 25O feddwl am y peth, dw i'n reit siŵr y bydda i'n aros, i'ch helpu chi i dyfu a phrofi'r llawenydd sydd i'w gael o gredu yn y Meseia. 26Felly pan fydda i'n dod atoch chi eto, bydd gynnoch chi fwy fyth o reswm i frolio am y Meseia Iesu. 27Ond beth bynnag fydd yn digwydd i mi, gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod chi'n dal ati i ymddwyn mewn ffordd sy'n dangos fod y newyddion da am y Meseia yn wir. Wedyn, os bydda i'n dod i'ch gweld chi neu beidio, byddwch chi'n sefyll yn gadarn ac yn brwydro'n galed gyda'ch gilydd dros y newyddion da. 28Peidiwch bod ag ofn y bobl hynny sy'n eich erbyn chi. Bydd hyn i gyd yn arwydd iddyn nhw y byddan nhw'n cael eu dinistrio, ond y cewch chi eich achub – a hynny gan Dduw. 29Eich braint chi ydy dim yn unig credu yn y Meseia, ond hefyd cael dioddef drosto. 30Dych chi'n wynebu yn union yr un frwydr weloch chi fi'n ei hymladd! b A dw i'n dal yn ei chanol hi fel dych chi'n gweld.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
