1Yna dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses: 2“Gorchymyn bobl Israel i anfon allan o'r gwersyll unrhyw un sy'n dioddef o glefyd heintus ar y croen, neu glefyd ar ei bidyn, neu ddiferiad o unrhyw fath, neu rywun sy'n aflan am ei fod wedi cyffwrdd corff marw. 3Dynion a merched fel ei gilydd – rhaid eu gyrru nhw allan fel bod y gwersyll, lle dw i'n byw yn eich canol chi, ddim yn cael ei wneud yn aflan.” 4Felly dyma bobl Israel yn eu gyrru nhw allan o'r gwersyll, yn union fel roedd yr Arglwydd wedi dweud wrth Moses.Gwneud iawn am rhyw ddrwg
5Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses: 6“Dywed wrth bobl Israel, ‘Pan mae dyn neu wraig yn gwneud drwg i rywun arall, mae'n euog o droseddu yn erbyn yr Arglwydd. 7Mae'n rhaid iddo gyfadde'r drwg mae wedi ei wneud, talu'r person arall yn ôl yn llawn ac ychwanegu 20% ato. 8Ond os ydy'r person gafodd y drwg ei wneud iddo wedi marw a heb berthynas agos y gellid talu iddo, mae'r tâl i gael ei roi i'r Arglwydd. Mae i'w roi i'r offeiriad, gyda'r hwrdd mae'n ei gyflwyno i wneud pethau'n iawn rhyngddo â'r Arglwydd. 9Yr offeiriad sy'n cael yr holl bethau cysegredig mae pobl Israel yn eu cyflwyno iddo. 10Mae'r offeiriad yn cael cadw beth bynnag mae unrhyw un yn ei gyflwyno iddo fel offrwm cysegredig.’”Achos gŵr sy'n amau fod ei wraig wedi bod yn anffyddlon iddo
11A dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses: 12“Dywed wrth bobl Israel: ‘Dyma sydd i ddigwydd os ydy gwraig rhywun yn anffyddlon iddo: 13Cymrwch ei bod hi wedi cael rhyw gyda dyn arall heb yn wybod i'w gŵr. (Doedd neb arall wedi eu gweld nhw, a wnaethon nhw ddim cael eu dal yn y weithred). 14Os ydy'r gŵr yn amau fod rhywbeth wedi digwydd, ac yn dechrau teimlo'n genfigennus (hyd yn oed os ydy'r wraig yn ddieuog), 15rhaid i'r gŵr fynd â hi at yr offeiriad. Mae i gyflwyno cilogram o flawd haidd yn offrwm trosti. Ond rhaid iddo beidio tywallt olew olewydd ar y blawd, na rhoi thus arno am mai offrwm amheuaeth ydy e, er mwyn dod â'r drwg i'r amlwg. 16“‘Bydd yr offeiriad yn gwneud i'r wraig sefyll o flaen yr Arglwydd. 17Wedyn bydd yr offeiriad yn rhoi dŵr cysegredig mewn cwpan bridd, a rhoi llwch oddi ar lawr y Tabernacl yn y dŵr. 18Yna tra mae'r wraig yn sefyll o flaen yr Arglwydd, mae'r offeiriad i ddatod ei gwallt hi a rhoi'r offrwm o rawn yn ei dwylo, sef yr offrwm amheuaeth. Wedyn mae'r offeiriad i sefyll o'i blaen hi, gyda'r gwpan o ddŵr chwerw sy'n dod â melltith yn ei law. 19Wedyn rhaid i'r offeiriad wneud i'r wraig fynd ar ei llw, a dweud wrthi, “Os wyt ti ddim wedi cysgu gyda dyn arall, a gwneud dy hun yn aflan drwy fod yn anffyddlon i dy ŵr, boed i'r dŵr chwerw yma sy'n dod â melltith wneud dim drwg i ti. 20Ond os wyt ti wedi bod yn anffyddlon, ac wedi gwneud dy hun yn aflan drwy gael rhyw gyda dyn arall, yna boed i bawb weld fod yr Arglwydd wedi dy felltithio di, am dy fod ti'n methu cael plant byth eto!” (Bydd yr offeiriad wedi rhoi'r wraig dan lw i gael ei melltithio os ydy hi'n euog.) 22“Bydd y dŵr yma sy'n achosi melltith yn gwneud niwed i dy gorff, fel dy fod yn methu cael plant byth eto!” A dylai'r wraig ateb, “Amen, amen.” 23Wedyn mae'r offeiriad i ysgrifennu'r melltithion yma ar sgrôl, cyn eu crafu i ffwrdd eto i'r dŵr. 24Yna rhaid iddo wneud i'r wraig yfed y dŵr chwerw sy'n dod â melltith, fel ei bod yn diodde'n chwerw os ydy hi'n euog. 25Bydd yr offeiriad yn cymryd grawn yr offrwm amheuaeth o ddwylo'r wraig, ei chwifio o flaen yr Arglwydd, a mynd ag e at yr allor. 26Bydd yr offeiriad yn cymryd dyrnaid o'r offrwm i'w losgi yn ernes ar yr allor. Yna bydd yn gwneud i'r wraig yfed y dŵr. 27“‘Os ydy'r wraig wedi gwneud ei hun yn aflan drwy fod yn anffyddlon i'w gŵr, bydd y dŵr yn gwneud iddi ddiodde'n chwerw. Bydd hi'n methu cael plant byth eto, a bydd ei henw'n felltith yng ngolwg y bobl. 28Ond os ydy'r wraig yn ddieuog, a heb wneud ei hun yn aflan, fydd y dŵr yn gwneud dim niwed iddi, a bydd hi'n gallu cael plant eto. 29“‘Felly, dyma sut mae delio gydag achos o eiddigedd, pan mae gwraig wedi bod yn anffyddlon i'w gŵr ac wedi gwneud ei hun yn aflan. 30Neu pan mae gŵr yn amau ei wraig ac yn dechrau teimlo'n eiddigeddus. Rhaid iddo ddod â'i wraig i sefyll o flaen yr Arglwydd, a bydd yr offeiriad yn mynd trwy'r ddefod yma gyda hi. 31Fydd y gŵr ddim yn euog o wneud unrhyw beth o'i le, ond bydd y wraig yn gyfrifol am ei phechod.’”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
