1Dyma Eliashif yr archoffeiriad a'i gyd-offeiriaid yn mynd ati i adeiladu Giât y Defaid ▼▼3:1 Giât y Defaid oedd y giât agosaf at y Deml
. Yna ei chysegru a gosod y drysau yn eu lle. Nhw wnaeth y gwaith hyd at Dŵr y Cant a Tŵr Chanan-el. 2Yna dynion Jericho wnaeth adeiladu'r darn nesaf, a Saccwr fab Imri y darn ar ôl hwnnw. 3Teulu Hassenâ wnaeth adeiladu Giât y Pysgod, a gosod ei thrawstiau a'r drysau, y bolltau a'r barrau yn eu lle. 4Meremoth fab Wreia ac ŵyr i Hacots wnaeth drwsio'r darn nesaf. Meshwlam fab Berecheia ac ŵyr i Meshesafel y darn wedyn. Sadoc fab Baana y darn ar ôl hwnnw, 5a dynion Tecoa ▼▼3:5 pentref oedd rhyw 12 milltir i'r de-ddwyrain o Jerwsalem
ar y darn nesaf wedyn. Ond doedd arweinwyr Tecoa ddim yn fodlon helpu gyda'r gwaith oedd yr arolygwyr wedi ei roi iddyn nhw. 6Ioiada fab Paseach a Meshwlam fab Besodeia oedd yn gweithio ar Giât Ieshana ▼▼3:6 Roedd tref Ieshana tua 15 milltir i'r gogledd o Jerwsalem.

Nhw wnaeth osod y trawstiau a'r drysau, y bolltau a'r barrau yn eu lle. 7Yna roedd Melatia o Gibeon a Iadon o Meronoth yn gweithio ar y darn nesaf gyda dynion eraill o Gibeon a Mitspa (lle roedd llywodraethwr Traws-Ewffrates yn byw). 8Wedyn roedd Wssiel fab Charhaia (aelod o Urdd y Gofaint Aur) yn atgyweirio'r darn nesaf, a Chananeia (aelod o Urdd y Gwerthwyr Persawr) yn atgyweirio'r darn ar ôl hwnnw. Nhw wnaeth drwsio wal Jerwsalem yr holl ffordd at y Wal Lydan. 9Reffaia fab Hur, pennaeth hanner ardal Jerwsalem, oedd yn gweithio ar y darn nesaf. 10Iedaia fab Charwmaff ar y darn ar ôl hwnnw, gyferbyn â'i dŷ, a Chattwsh fab Chashafneia ar y darn wedyn. 11Roedd Malcîa fab Charîm a Chashwf fab Pachath-Moab yn gweithio ar ddarn arall ac ar Dŵr y Poptai. 12Yna roedd Shalwm fab Halochesh, pennaeth hanner arall ardal Jerwsalem, yn gweithio ar y darn nesaf, gyda'i ferched yn ei helpu. 13Chanŵn a pobl Sanoach ▼▼3:13 Sanoach Tref oedd 14 milltir i'r de-orllewin o Jerwsalem.

Fe wnaeth ei hailadeiladu, a gosod y drysau, y bolltau a'r barrau yn eu lle. 15Wedyn Shalwn fab Colchose, pennaeth ardal Mitspa, oedd yn gweithio ar Giât y Ffynnon. Ailadeiladodd hi, rhoi to arni, a gosod y drysau, bolltau a barrau yn eu lle. A fe hefyd wnaeth ailadeiladu'r wal o Bwll Siloam (wrth ymyl y gerddi brenhinol) yr holl ffordd at y grisiau sy'n mynd i lawr o Ddinas Dafydd. 16Yna Nehemeia fab Asbwc, pennaeth hanner ardal Beth-tswr ▼▼3:16 Beth-tswr Tref oedd tua 15 milltir i'r de o Jerwsalem.

Asareia fab Maaseia ac ŵyr Ananeia, yn gweithio wrth ymyl ei dŷ e. 24Binnŵi fab Chenadad yn gweithio ar y darn nesaf, o dŷ Asareia at y bwtres ar y gornel. 25Wedyn Palal fab Wsai yn gweithio gyferbyn â'r bwtres a'r tŵr sy'n sticio allan o'r palas uchaf wrth ymyl iard y gwarchodlu. Yna roedd Pedaia fab Parosh 26a gweision y deml oedd yn byw ar Fryn Offel yn gweithio ar y darn i fyny at Giât y Dŵr i'r dwyrain lle mae'r tŵr sy'n sticio allan. 27Wedyn dynion Tecoa eto yn gweithio ar y darn o'r tŵr mawr hwnnw i wal Bryn Offel. 28Offeiriaid oedd yn gweithio yr ochr uchaf i Giât y Ceffylau hefyd, pob un o flaen ei dŷ ei hun. 29Sadoc fab Immer yn gweithio gyferbyn â'i dŷ e, a Shemaia fab Shechaneia, porthor Giât y Dwyrain, yn gweithio ar y darn nesaf. 30Wedyn Chananeia fab Shelemeia a Chanŵn, chweched mab Salaff, yn gweithio ar ddarn arall. Yna, ar eu holau nhw, Meshwlam fab Berecheia yn gweithio ar y darn gyferbyn â'r ystafell lle roedd e'n byw. 31Wedyn Malcîa, un o'r gofaint aur, yn gweithio ar y darn hyd at lety gweision y deml a'r masnachwyr, gyferbyn â Giât y Mwstro, ac i fyny at yr ystafell uwchben y gornel. 32Yna roedd y gofaint aur a'r masnachwyr yn gweithio ar y darn olaf, o'r ystafell uwchben y gornel at Giât y Defaid.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
