1Dyma'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid ddaeth yn ôl i Jerwsalem o Babilon gyda Serwbabel fab Shealtiel a Ieshŵa: aOffeiriaid:
Seraia, Jeremeia, Esra,2Amareia, Malŵch, Chattwsh,
3Shechaneia, Rechwm, Meremoth,
4Ido, Gintoi, Abeia,
5Miamin, Maadia, Bilga
6Shemaia, Ioiarîf, Idaïa,
7Salw, Amoc, Chilceia, ac Idaïa.
(Nhw oedd penaethiaid yr offeiriaid a'i cydweithwyr yng nghyfnod Ieshŵa.)
Lefiaid:
8Ieshŵa, Binnŵi, Cadmiel, Sherefeia, Jwda, a Mataneia yn gyfrifol am y caneuon mawl.9Bacbwceia ac Wnni a'u cydweithwyr yn sefyll gyferbyn â nhw yn y gwasanaethau.

10Roedd Ieshŵa yn dad i Ioiacim, Ioiacim yn dad i Eliashif, Eliashif yn dad i Ioiada, 11Ioiada yn dad i Jonathan, a Jonathan yn dad i Iadwa.Arweinwyr claniau'r offeiriaid
12Dyma'r offeiriaid oedd yn arweinwyr eu clan pan oedd Ioiacim yn archoffeiriad:
22Wedyn, fel yr offeiriaid, cafodd y Lefiaid oedd yn arweinwyr eu claniau nhw eu rhestru (o gyfnod yr archoffeiriaid Eliashif, Ioiada, Iochanan a Iadwa hyd deyrnasiad Dareius o Persia). 23Roedd cofrestr o'r Lefiaid oedd yn arweinwyr claniau hyd gyfnod Iochanan wedi ei gadw yn sgrôl y cofnodion hanesyddol. 24Arweinwyr y Lefiaid: Chashafeia, Sherefeia, Iehoshwa, Binnŵi ▼| Offeiriad | Clan |

Yna eu cydweithwyr oedd yn sefyll gyferbyn â nhw i foli a diolch i Dduw (Roedd un côr yn wynebu y llall fel roedd Dafydd, dyn Duw, wedi dweud.) 25Yna Mataneia, Bacbwceia, Obadeia, Meshwlam, Talmon ac Accwf yn ofalwyr yn gwarchod y drysau i'r stordai wrth y giatiau. 26Roedd y rhain i gyd yn gweithio yn y cyfnod pan oedd Ioiacim (mab Ieshŵa fab Iotsadac) yn archoffeiriad, Nehemeia yn llywodraethwr, ac Esra'r offeiriad yn arbenigwr yn y Gyfraith. 27Pan oedd wal Jerwsalem yn cael ei chysegru, dyma'r Lefiaid o bob man yn cael eu galw i Jerwsalem i gymryd rhan yn y dathlu. Roedden nhw yno yn canu caneuon o ddiolch i gyfeiliant symbalau, nablau a thelynau. 28Roedd y cantorion wedi eu casglu hefyd, o'r ardal o gwmpas Jerwsalem a pentrefi Netoffa, 29Beth-gilgal, a'r wlad o gwmpas Geba ac Asmafeth. (Roedd y cantorion wedi codi pentrefi iddyn nhw eu hunain o gwmpas Jerwsalem.) 30Pan oedd yr offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid wedi mynd trwy'r ddefod o buro eu hunain, dyma nhw'n cysegru'r bobl, y giatiau, a'r wal. 31Trefnais i arweinwyr Jwda sefyll ar dop y wal, a cael dau gôr i ganu mawl. Roedd un côr i arwain yr orymdaith ar y wal i gyfeiriad y de at Giât y Sbwriel. 32Yn eu dilyn nhw roedd Hoshaia a hanner arweinwyr Jwda. 33Wedyn Asareia, Esra a Meshwlam, 34Jwda, Benjamin, Shemaia, a Jeremeia – 35offeiriaid gydag utgyrn. Yna'n olaf Sechareia fab Jonathan (mab Shemaia, mab Mataneia, mab Michaia, mab Saccwr, mab Asaff) 36a'i gyd-gerddorion – Shemaia, Asarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Jwda, a Chanani – gyda'r offerynnau cerdd oedd y brenin duwiol Dafydd wedi eu dewis. (Esra yr arbenigwr yn y Gyfraith oedd yn arwain y grŵp yma). 37Dyma nhw'n mynd dros Giât y Ffynnon, yna yn syth ymlaen i fyny grisiau Dinas Dafydd, heibio ei balas ac at Giât y Dŵr sydd i'r dwyrain. 38Wedyn roedd yr ail gôr i fynd i'r cyfeiriad arall. Dyma fi'n eu dilyn nhw ar hyd y wal gyda hanner arall yr arweinwyr. Aethon ni heibio Tŵr y Poptai at y Wal Lydan, 39dros Giât Effraim, Giât Ieshana, Giât y Pysgod, Tŵr Chanan-el, a Tŵr y Cant, at Giât y Defaid, a stopio wrth Giât y Gwarchodwyr. 40Wedyn dyma'r ddau gôr oedd yn canu mawl yn cymryd eu lle yn y deml. Dyma finnau yn gwneud yr un fath, a'r grŵp o arweinwyr oedd gyda fi, 41a'r offeiriaid oedd yn canu utgyrn – Eliacim, Maaseia, Miniamîn, Michaia, Elioenai, Sechareia a Chananeia. 42Hefyd Maaseia, Shemaia, Eleasar, Wssi, Iehochanan, Malcîa, Elam ac Eser. Yna dyma'r corau yn canu dan arweiniad Israchïa. 43Roedd yn ddiwrnod o ddathlu a cafodd llawer iawn o aberthau eu cyflwyno. Roedd Duw wedi gwneud pawb mor hapus. Roedd y gwragedd a'r plant yno yn dathlu hefyd, ac roedd sŵn y dathlu yn Jerwsalem i'w glywed o bell.Penodi dynion i gasglu'r cyfraniadau
44Y diwrnod hwnnw cafodd dynion eu penodi i ofalu am y stordai, lle byddai cyfraniadau'r bobl yn cael eu cadw – y ffrwythau cyntaf, a'r degymau. Dyna lle byddai cyfraniadau'r bobl i'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid yn cael eu casglu, yn ôl faint o gaeau oedd yn perthyn i bob pentref. Roedd pobl Jwda yn falch o'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid oedd yn gwasanaethu. 45Nhw, gyda'r cantorion a gofalwyr y giatiau, oedd yn arwain y defodau ac yn cynnal seremonïau'r puro, fel gwnaeth y brenin Dafydd a'i fab Solomon orchymyn. 46Ers pan oedd y brenin Dafydd ac Asaff yn fyw, roedd yna rai yn arwain y cantorion, a'r caneuon o fawl a diolch i Dduw. 47Felly yn amser Serwbabel a Nehemeia fel llywodraethwyr, roedd pobl Israel i gyd yn rhoi cyfran i'r cantorion a'r gofalwyr, fel roedd angen bob dydd. Roedden nhw hefyd yn cadw cyfran i'r Lefiaid, ac roedd y Lefiaid yn cadw cyfran i'r offeiriaid, disgynyddion Aaron.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
