1“Byddwch yn ofalus i beidio gwneud sioe o'ch crefydd, er mwyn i bobl eraill eich gweld chi. Os gwnewch chi hynny, chewch chi ddim gwobr gan eich Tad yn y nefoedd. 2“Felly, pan fyddi'n rhoi arian i'r tlodion, paid trefnu ffanffer er mwyn gwneud yn siŵr fod pawb yn gwybod am y peth. Dyna mae'r rhai sy'n gwneud sioe o'u crefydd yn ei wneud yn y synagogau ac ar y strydoedd. Maen nhw eisiau i bobl eraill eu canmol nhw. Credwch chi fi, dyna'r unig wobr gân nhw! 3Pan fyddi di'n rhoi arian i'r tlodion, paid gadael i'r llaw chwith wybod beth mae'r llaw dde yn ei wneud. 4Dylai pob rhodd fod yn gyfrinach. Bydd dy Dad, sy'n gweld pob cyfrinach, yn rhoi dy wobr i ti.Gweddi

Maen nhw'n meddwl y bydd Duw yn gwrando am eu bod yn gweddïo mor hir. 8Peidiwch chi â bod fel yna. Mae'ch Tad chi'n gwybod yn union beth sydd ei angen arnoch chi cyn i chi ddweud gair. 9“Dyma sut dylech chi weddïo: ‘Ein Tad sydd yn y nefoedd,dŷn ni eisiau i dy enw di gael ei anrhydeddu.
10Dŷn ni eisiau i ti ddod i deyrnasu,
ac i'r cwbl sy'n dda yn dy olwg di
ddigwydd yma ar y ddaear fel mae'n digwydd yn y nefoedd.
11Rho i ni ddigon o fwyd i'n cadw ni'n fyw am heddiw.
12Maddau i ni am bob dyled i ti
yn union fel dŷn ni'n maddau
i'r rhai sydd mewn dyled i ni.
13Cadw ni rhag syrthio pan fyddwn ni'n cael ein profi,
ac achub ni o afael y drwg.’ ▼

Dim ond dy Dad, sy'n anweledig, fydd yn gweld; a bydd dy Dad, sy'n gweld pob cyfrinach, yn rhoi dy wobr i ti.Trysor yn y Nefoedd

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
