Condemnio'r Phariseaid a'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith
(Marc 12:38-40; Luc 11:37-52; 20:45-47) 1Yna dyma Iesu'n dweud wrth y dyrfa ac wrth ei ddisgyblion: 2“Mae'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith a'r Phariseaid â'r hawl i ddehongli Cyfraith Moses ▼▼23:2 Moses: Groeg, “yn eistedd ar gadair Moses”.
, 3ac wrth gwrs ‘Dylech chi wrando arnyn nhw a gwneud popeth maen nhw'n ei ddweud.’ Ond peidiwch dilyn eu hesiampl nhw – dŷn nhw ddim yn byw beth maen nhw'n ei bregethu. 4Maen nhw'n gosod beichiau trwm ar ysgwyddau pobl, rheolau crefyddol sy'n eu llethu nhw, ond wnân nhw ddim codi bys bach i helpu pobl i gario'r baich. 5“Maen nhw'n gwneud popeth er mwyn dangos eu hunain. Maen nhw'n gwneud yn siŵr fod y blychau gweddi ar eu breichiau a'u talcennau b yn amlwg, a'r taselau hirion ar eu clogyn c yn dangos mor dduwiol ydyn nhw. 6Maen nhw wrth eu bodd yn cael y seddi gorau mewn gwleddoedd a'r seddi pwysica yn y synagogau, 7a chael pobl yn symud o'u ffordd a'u cyfarch yn barchus yn sgwâr y farchnad, a'u galw yn ‛Rabbi‛. 8“Peidiwch chi â gadael i neb eich galw'n ‛Rabbi‛. Dim ond un athro sydd gynnoch chi, a dych chi i gyd yn gydradd, fel brodyr a chwiorydd i'ch gilydd. 9A peidiwch rhoi'r teitl anrhydedd ‛Y tad‛ i neb. Duw yn y nefoedd ydy'ch Tad chi. 10A pheidiwch â gadael i neb eich galw'n ‛meistr‛ chwaith. Un meistr sydd gynnoch chi, a'r Meseia ydy hwnnw. 11Rhaid i'r arweinydd fod yn was. 12Bydd pwy bynnag sy'n gwthio ei hun i'r top yn cael ei dynnu i lawr, a phwy bynnag sy'n gwasanaethu eraill yn cael ei godi i'r top. 13“Gwae chi'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith a Phariseaid! Dych chi mor ddauwynebog! Dych chi'n cau drws yn wyneb pobl, a'u rhwystro rhag dod dan deyrnasiad yr Un nefol. Dych chi'ch hunain ddim yn mynd i mewn, nac yn fodlon gadael i unrhyw un sydd am fynd i mewn gael mynediad. ▼▼23:13 mynediad: Mae rhai llawysgrifau yn ychwanegu adn.14, Gwae chi'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith a Phariseaid! Dych chi'n dwyn popeth oddi ar wragedd gweddwon ac wedyn yn ceisio rhoi'r argraff eich bod chi'n dduwiol gyda'ch gweddïau hir. Byddwch chi'n cael eich cosbi'n llym.
15“Gwae chi'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith a Phariseaid! Dych chi mor ddauwynebog! Dych chi'n barod i deithio dros fôr a thir i gael un person i gredu yr un fath â chi. Ond yna dych chi'n ei droi'n blentyn uffern – ddwywaith gwaeth na chi'ch hunain! 16“Gwae chi! Arweinwyr dall ydych chi! Er enghraifft, dych chi'n dweud: ‘Os ydy rhywun yn enwi'r deml wrth dyngu llw, dydy'r llw ddim yn ddilys; ond os ydy rhywun yn enwi trysor y deml, mae wedi ei rwymo gan ei lw.’ 17Y ffyliaid dall! Pa un ydy'r pwysica – y trysor, neu'r deml sy'n gwneud y trysor yn gysegredig? 18“Dyma enghraifft arall: ‘Os ydy rhywun yn enwi'r allor wrth dyngu llw, dydy'r llw ddim yn ddilys; ond os ydy rhywun yn enwi'r offrwm ar yr allor, mae wedi ei rwymo gan ei lw.’ 19Dych chi mor ddall! Pa un ydy'r pwysica – yr offrwm, neu'r allor sy'n gwneud yr offrwm yn gysegredig? 20Os ydy rhywun yn enwi'r allor wrth dyngu llw, mae hynny'n cynnwys popeth sydd arni hefyd! 21Ac os ydy rhywun yn enwi'r deml wrth dyngu llw, mae hefyd yn cyfeirio at Dduw, sy'n bresennol yn y deml. 22Ac os ydy rhywun yn enwi'r nefoedd wrth dyngu llw, mae'n cyfeirio at orsedd Duw, ac at Dduw ei hun, sy'n eistedd arni. e 23“Gwae chi'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith a Phariseaid! Dych chi mor ddauwynebog! Dych chi'n ofalus iawn gyda rhyw fanion fel rhoi un rhan o ddeg o beth sydd gynnoch chi i Dduw – hyd yn oed perlysiau fel mintys, anis a chwmin! Ond dych chi'n talu dim sylw i faterion pwysica'r Gyfraith – byw'n gyfiawn, bod yn drugarog ac yn ffyddlon i Dduw. Dylech chi wneud y pethau pwysica yma heb ddiystyru'r pethau eraill. 24Arweinwyr dall ydych chi! Dych chi'n hidlo dŵr rhag i chi lyncu gwybedyn, ond yna'n llyncu camel! 25“Gwae chi'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith a Phariseaid! Dych chi mor ddauwynebog! Dych chi'n glanhau'r tu allan i'r gwpan neu'r ddysgl, ond cawsoch chi'r bwyd a'r diod oedd ynddyn nhw trwy drais a hunanoldeb. 26Y Pharisead dall! Glanha'r tu mewn i'r gwpan neu'r ddysgl gyntaf; wedyn bydd y tu allan yn lân hefyd. 27“Gwae chi'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith a Phariseaid! Dych chi mor ddauwynebog! Dych chi fel beddau wedi eu gwyngalchu. Mae'r cwbl yn edrych yn ddel iawn y tu allan, ond y tu mewn maen nhw'n llawn o esgyrn pobl wedi marw a phethau afiach eraill. 28Dych chi'r un fath! Ar y tu allan dych chi'n edrych yn bobl dda a duwiol, ond y tu mewn dych chi'n llawn rhagrith a drygioni! 29“Gwae chi'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith a Phariseaid! Dych chi mor ddauwynebog! Dych chi'n codi cofgolofnau i anrhydeddu'r proffwydi ac yn gofalu am feddau pobl dduwiol y gorffennol. 30Dych chi'n dweud, ‘Petaen ni'n byw bryd hynny, fydden ni ddim wedi lladd y proffwydi, fel gwnaeth ein cyndeidiau.’ 31Felly! Dych chi'n cydnabod eich bod yn ddisgynyddion i'r rhai lofruddiodd y proffwydi! 32Iawn! Cariwch ymlaen! Waeth i chi orffen beth ddechreuodd eich cyndeidiau! 33“Dych chi fel nythaid o nadroedd gwenwynig! Sut allwch chi osgoi cael eich dedfrydu i uffern!? 34Bydda i'n anfon proffwydi atoch chi, a phobl ddoeth ac athrawon. Byddwch yn lladd rhai ohonyn nhw a'u croeshoelio; byddwch yn gwneud i eraill ddioddef drwy eu chwipio yn eich synagogau. Byddwch yn eu herlid o un lle i'r llall. 35Felly, chi fydd yn gyfrifol am yr holl bobl ddiniwed sydd wedi eu lladd ar y ddaear, o Abel (wnaeth ddim o'i le), hyd Sechareia fab Beracheia ▼▼23:35 Sechareia fab Beracheia: Abel oedd y cyntaf i gael ei lofruddio, ac mae'r hanes yn Genesis, llyfr cyntaf yr ysgrythurau Iddewig. Ail lyfr Cronicl ydy llyfr olaf yr ysgrythurau Iddewig, a'r llofruddiaeth olaf mae'n cyfeirio ato ydy llofruddiaeth Sechareia (gw. Genesis 4:8 a 2 Cronicl 24:20,21)

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
