(Luc 14:15-24) 1Dyma Iesu'n dweud stori arall wrthyn nhw: 2“Mae teyrnasiad yr Un nefol yn debyg i frenin yn rhoi gwledd briodas i'w fab. 3Anfonodd ei weision i ddweud wrth y rhai oedd wedi cael gwahoddiad fod popeth yn barod, ond roedden nhw'n gwrthod dod. 4“Anfonodd weision eraill i ddweud wrthyn nhw: ‘Mae'r wledd yn barod. Dw i wedi lladd teirw a bustych, felly dewch i'r wledd!’ 5“Ond wnaethon nhw ddim cymryd unrhyw sylw, dim ond cerdded i ffwrdd – un i'w faes, ac un arall i'w fusnes. 6Yna dyma'r gweddill yn gafael yn y gweision a'u cam-drin nhw a'u lladd. 7Roedd y brenin yn wyllt gynddeiriog. Anfonodd ei fyddin i ladd y llofruddion a llosgi eu tref. 8“Yna meddai wrth ei weision, ‘Mae'r wledd briodas yn barod, ond doedd y rhai gafodd wahoddiad ddim yn haeddu cael dod. 9Felly ewch i sefyll ar y priffyrdd sy'n mynd allan o'r ddinas, a gwahodd pwy bynnag ddaw heibio i ddod i'r wledd.’ 10Felly dyma'r gweision yn mynd allan i'r strydoedd a chasglu pawb allen nhw ddod o hyd iddyn nhw – y drwg a'r da. A llanwyd y neuadd briodas â gwesteion. 11“Ond pan ddaeth y brenin i mewn i edrych ar y gwesteion, sylwodd fod yno un oedd ddim wedi ei wisgo mewn dillad addas ar gyfer priodas. 12‘Gyfaill,’ meddai wrtho, ‘sut wnest ti lwyddo i ddod i mewn yma heb fod yn gwisgo dillad ar gyfer priodas?’ Allai'r dyn ddim ateb. 13“Yna dyma'r brenin yn dweud wrth ei weision, ‘Rhwymwch ei ddwylo a'i draed, a'i daflu allan i'r tywyllwch, lle bydd pobl yn wylo'n chwerw ac mewn artaith.’ 14“Mae llawer wedi cael gwahoddiad, ond ychydig sy'n cael eu dewis.”Talu trethi i Cesar

“Athro,” medden nhw, “dŷn ni'n gwybod dy fod ti'n onest ac yn dysgu mai ffordd Duw ydy'r gwirionedd. Dwyt ti ddim yn un i gael dy ddylanwadu gan bobl eraill, dim ots pwy ydyn nhw. 17Felly, beth ydy dy farn di? Ydy'n iawn i ni dalu trethi i lywodraeth Rhufain?” 18Ond roedd Iesu'n gwybod mai drwg oedden nhw'n ei fwriadu, ac meddai wrthyn nhw, “Dych chi mor ddauwynebog! Pam dych chi'n ceisio nal i? 19Dangoswch i mi ddarn arian sy'n cael ei ddefnyddio i dalu'r dreth.” Dyma nhw'n dod â darn arian iddo, 20a dyma fe'n gofyn iddyn nhw, “Llun pwy ydy hwn? Am bwy mae'r arysgrif yma'n sôn?” 21“Cesar,” medden nhw. Felly meddai Iesu, “Rhowch beth sydd biau Cesar i Cesar, a'r hyn biau Duw i Dduw.” 22Roedden nhw wedi eu syfrdanu pan glywon nhw ei ateb. Roedden nhw'n dadlau fod pobl ddim yn mynd i ddod yn ôl yn fyw ar ôl marw. 24“Athro,” medden nhw, “Dwedodd Moses, ‘os ydy dyn yn marw heb gael plant, rhaid i'w frawd briodi'r weddw a chael plant yn ei le.’” b 25“Nawr, roedd saith brawd yn ein plith ni. Priododd y cyntaf, ond buodd farw cyn cael plant. 26A digwyddodd yr un peth i'r ail a'r trydydd, reit i lawr i'r seithfed. 27Y wraig ei hun oedd yr olaf i farw. 28Dyma'n cwestiwn ni: Pan fydd yr atgyfodiad yn digwydd, gwraig pa un o'r saith fydd hi? Roedd hi wedi bod yn wraig iddyn nhw i gyd!” 29Atebodd Iesu, “Dych chi'n deall dim! Dych chi ddim wedi deall yr ysgrifau sanctaidd a dych chi'n gwybod dim byd am allu Duw. 30Fydd pobl ddim yn priodi pan ddaw'r atgyfodiad; byddan nhw yr un fath â'r angylion yn y nefoedd. 31A bydd atgyfodiad! – Ydych chi ddim wedi darllen beth ddwedodd Duw? – 32‘Fi ydy Duw Abraham, Duw Isaac, a Duw Jacob.’ c Dim Duw pobl wedi marw ydy Duw, ond Duw'r rhai sy'n fyw!” 33Roedd y dyrfa yn rhyfeddu wrth glywed yr hyn oedd Iesu'n ei ddysgu.Y Gorchymyn Pwysica

How do I do a word study?
- What information can I find about a word?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
