Matthew 15
Glân ac aflan
(Marc 7:1-23) 1Dyma Phariseaid ac arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith o Jerwsalem yn dod at Iesu, a gofyn iddo, 2“Pam mae dy ddisgyblion di yn gwneud beth sy'n groes i'r traddodiad? Maen nhw'n bwyta heb fynd drwy'r ddefod o olchi eu dwylo!” 3Atebodd Iesu, “A pham dych chi'n mynd yn groes i orchymyn Duw er mwyn cadw'ch traddodiadau? 4Er enghraifft, gorchmynnodd Duw, ‘Gofala am dy dad a dy fam’ a a ‘Rhaid i bwy bynnag sy'n sarhau ei dad neu ei fam gael ei ladd.’ b 5Ond dych chi'n dweud ei bod yn iawn dweud wrth rieni mewn oed, ‘Alla i ddim gofalu amdanoch chi. Mae beth o'n i'n mynd i'w roi i chi wedi ei gyflwyno'n rhodd i Dduw,’ 6Does dim rhaid ‛gofalu am dad‛ wedyn. Er mwyn cadw'ch traddodiad dych chi'n osgoi gwneud beth mae Duw'n ei ddweud. 7Dych chi mor ddauwynebog! Roedd Eseia yn llygad ei le pan broffwydodd amdanoch chi: 8 ‘Mae'r bobl yma'n dweud pethau gwych amdana i,ond mae eu calonnau yn bell oddi wrtho i.
9Mae eu haddoliad yn ddiystyr;
mân-reolau dynol ydy'r cwbl maen nhw'n ei ddysgu.’” c
10Yna dyma Iesu'n galw'r dyrfa ato a dweud wrthyn nhw, “Gwrandwch er mwyn i chi ddeall. 11Dim beth dych chi'n ei fwyta sy'n eich gwneud chi'n ‛aflan‛; y pethau dych chi'n eu dweud sy'n eich gwneud chi'n ‛aflan‛.” 12A dyma'r disgyblion yn mynd ato a dweud wrtho, “Mae beth ddwedaist ti wedi cythruddo'r Phariseaid go iawn!” 13Atebodd yntau, “Bydd pob planhigyn wnaeth fy Nhad nefol ddim ei blannu yn cael ei dynnu i fyny. 14Gadewch iddyn nhw – arweinwyr dall ydyn nhw! Os ydy dyn dall yn arwain dyn dall arall, bydd y ddau yn disgyn i ffos gyda'i gilydd.” 15Yna meddai Pedr, “Esbonia i ni beth ydy ystyr y dywediad.” 16“Ydych chi'n dal mor ddwl?” meddai Iesu. 17“Ydych chi ddim yn gweld fod bwyd ddim ond yn mynd drwy'r stumog ac yna'n dod allan yn y tŷ bach? 18Ond mae'r pethau dych chi'n eu dweud yn dod o'r galon, a dyna sy'n eich gwneud chi'n ‛aflan‛. 19O'ch calon chi mae meddyliau drwg yn dod, a phethau fel llofruddio, godinebu, anfoesoldeb rhywiol, dwyn, rhoi tystiolaeth ffug, a hel straeon cas. 20Dyma'r pethau sy'n gwneud rhywun yn ‛aflan‛. Dydy bwyta heb gadw'r ddefod o olchi'r dwylo ddim yn eich gwneud chi'n ‛aflan‛.”
Ffydd y wraig Gananeaidd
(Marc 7:24-30) 21Gadawodd Iesu Galilea ac aeth i ffwrdd i gylch Tyrus a Sidon. 22Daeth gwraig ato (gwraig o'r ardal oedd o dras Cananeaidd), a gweiddi, “Arglwydd, Fab Dafydd, helpa fi! Mae fy merch yn dioddef yn ofnadwy am ei bod yng ngafael cythraul.” 23Wnaeth Iesu ddim ymateb o gwbl. A dyma'i ddisgyblion yn dod ato a phwyso arno, “Anfon hi i ffwrdd, mae hi'n boen yn dal ati i weiddi ar ein holau ni!” 24Felly atebodd Iesu hi, “Dim ond at bobl Israel, sydd fel defaid ar goll, ces i fy anfon.” 25Ond dyma'r wraig yn dod a phenlinio o'i flaen. “Helpa fi, Arglwydd!” meddai. 26Atebodd Iesu, “Dydy hi ddim yn iawn i bobl daflu bwyd y plant i'r cŵn.” ▼▼15:26 cŵn: Roedd yr Iddewon weithiau yn galw pobl o wledydd eraill yn gŵn.
27“Digon gwir, Arglwydd,” meddai'r wraig, “ond mae hyd yn oed y cŵn yn bwyta'r briwsion sy'n disgyn oddi ar fwrdd eu meistr.” 28Atebodd Iesu, “Wraig annwyl, mae gen ti lot o ffydd! Cei beth ofynnaist amdano.” A dyna'r union adeg y cafodd ei merch ei hiacháu. Iesu'n bwydo'r pedair mil
(Marc 8:1-10) 29Pan adawodd Iesu'r ardal honno, teithiodd ar lan Llyn Galilea. Yna aeth i ben mynydd ac eistedd i lawr. 30Daeth tyrfaoedd mawr o bobl ato, gyda phobl oedd yn gloff, neu'n ddall, neu'n anabl, neu'n fud. Cawson nhw eu gosod o'i flaen, a iachaodd nhw. 31Roedd y bobl wedi eu syfrdanu wrth weld y mud yn siarad, pobl anabl wedi cael eu hiacháu, y cloff yn cerdded a'r dall yn gweld. A dyma nhw'n dechrau moli Duw Israel. 32Dyma Iesu'n galw ei ddisgyblion ato a dweud, “Dw i'n teimlo dros y bobl yma i gyd; maen nhw wedi bod yma ers tri diwrnod heb gael dim i'w fwyta. Dw i ddim am iddyn nhw fynd i ffwrdd heb gael rhywbeth i'w fwyta, rhag iddyn nhw lewygu ar y ffordd.” 33Meddai'r disgyblion, “Ble gawn ni ddigon o fara i fwydo'r fath dyrfa mewn lle mor anial!” 34“Sawl torth o fara ▼▼15:34 torth o fara: gw. y nodyn ar 14:17.
sydd gynnoch chi?” meddai Iesu. “Saith,” medden nhw, “a rhyw ychydig o bysgod bach.” 35Yna dwedodd Iesu wrth y dyrfa am eistedd i lawr. 36Cymerodd y saith torth a'r pysgod, ac offrymu gweddi o ddiolch i Dduw, yna eu torri a'u rhoi i'r disgyblion, a dyma'r disgyblion yn eu rhannu i'r bobl. 37Cafodd pawb ddigon i'w fwyta, ac roedd saith llond cawell o dameidiau bwyd dros ben. 38Roedd pedair mil o ddynion wedi cael eu bwydo, heb sôn am wragedd a phlant! 39Ar ôl i Iesu anfon y dyrfa adre aeth i mewn i'r cwch a chroesi i ardal Magadan. ▼▼15:39 Magadan: Does neb yn gwybod ble roedd Magadan.
