Matthew 14
Dienyddio Ioan Fedyddiwr
(Marc 6:14-29; Luc 9:7-9) 1Tua'r adeg yna clywodd y llywodraethwr Herod ▼▼14:1 Herod: Herod Antipas, mab Herod Fawr (gw. 2:1).
y straeon am Iesu. 2Dwedodd wrth ei swyddogion, “Ioan Fedyddiwr sydd wedi dod yn ôl yn fyw! Dyna pam mae'n gallu gwneud gwyrthiau.” 3Herod oedd wedi arestio Ioan Fedyddiwr a'i roi yn y carchar. Roedd wedi gwneud hynny o achos ei berthynas â Herodias, gwraig ei frawd, Philip. 4Roedd Ioan wedi dweud wrtho dro ar ôl tro: “Dydy'r Gyfraith ddim yn caniatáu i ti ei chymryd hi.” 5Er bod Herod eisiau lladd Ioan, roedd ganddo ofn gwneud hynny am fod y bobl yn ystyried Ioan yn broffwyd. 6Ond yna, ar ddiwrnod pen-blwydd Herod dyma ferch Herodias yn perfformio dawns yn y parti. Roedd hi wedi plesio Herod cymaint 7nes iddo dyngu ar lw y byddai'n rhoi iddi beth bynnag oedd hi'n gofyn amdano. 8Gyda'i mam yn ei hannog, dwedodd wrtho, “Dw i eisiau i ti dorri pen Ioan Fedyddiwr, a'i roi i mi ar hambwrdd.” 9Doedd y brenin ddim yn hapus o gwbl, ond am ei fod wedi addo ar lw o flaen ei westeion, rhoddodd orchymyn iddo gael ei roi iddi. 10Anfonodd filwyr i'r carchar i dorri pen Ioan i ffwrdd. 11Wedyn, dyma nhw'n dod â'r pen ar hambwrdd a'i roi i'r ferch fach, a rhoddodd hithau e i'w mam. 12Dyma ddisgyblion Ioan yn cymryd y corff a'i gladdu, ac wedyn yn mynd i ddweud wrth Iesu beth oedd wedi digwydd. Iesu'n bwydo'r pum mil
(Marc 6:30-44; Luc 9:10-17; Ioan 6:1-14) 13Pan glywodd Iesu beth oedd wedi digwydd, aeth i ffwrdd mewn cwch i le tawel i fod ar ei ben ei hun. Ond clywodd y tyrfaoedd am hyn, a'i ddilyn ar droed o'r trefi. 14Pan gyrhaeddodd Iesu'r lan, roedd gweld y dyrfa fawr yno yn ennyn tosturi ynddo, a iachaodd y rhai oedd yn sâl. 15Roedd hi'n dechrau nosi, felly dyma'r disgyblion yn dod ato a dweud, “Mae'r lle yma'n anial ac mae'n mynd yn hwyr. Anfon y bobl i ffwrdd, iddyn nhw gael mynd i'r pentrefi i brynu bwyd.” 16Atebodd Iesu, “Does dim rhaid iddyn nhw fynd i ffwrdd. Rhowch chi rywbeth i'w fwyta iddyn nhw.” 17Medden nhw wrtho, “Dim ond pum torth fach ▼▼14:17 torth fach: Torth fach gron fflat, mae'n debyg.
a dau bysgodyn sydd gynnon ni.” 18“Dewch â nhw i mi,” meddai. 19A dwedodd wrth y bobl am eistedd i lawr ar y glaswellt. Wedyn cymerodd y pum torth a'r ddau bysgodyn ac offrymu gweddi o ddiolch i Dduw. Torrodd y bara a rhoi'r torthau i'w ddisgyblion, a dyma'r disgyblion yn eu rhannu i'r bobl. 20Cafodd pawb ddigon i'w fwyta, a dyma nhw'n codi deuddeg llond basged o dameidiau oedd wedi eu gadael dros ben. 21Roedd tua pum mil o ddynion wedi cael eu bwydo, heb sôn am wragedd a phlant! Iesu'n cerdded ar y dŵr
(Marc 6:45-52; Ioan 6:15-21) 22Dyma Iesu'n gwneud i'w ddisgyblion fynd yn ôl i'r cwch a chroesi drosodd o'i flaen. 23Ar ôl iddo anfon y dyrfa adre, aeth i ben mynydd er mwyn cael lle tawel i weddïo. Roedd yno ar ei ben ei hun ac roedd hi'n nosi. 24Erbyn hynny roedd y cwch yn bell o'r tir, ac yn cael ei daro gan y tonnau am fod y gwynt yn ei erbyn. 25Yna, rywbryd ar ôl tri o'r gloch y bore, aeth Iesu allan atyn nhw, gan gerdded ar y dŵr. 26Pan welodd y disgyblion e'n cerdded ar y llyn, roedden nhw wedi dychryn am eu bywydau. “Ysbryd ydy e!” medden nhw, gan weiddi mewn ofn. 27Ond dyma Iesu'n dweud wrthyn nhw, “Mae'n iawn! Fi ydy e. Peidiwch bod ag ofn.” 28“Arglwydd, os mai ti sydd yna” meddai Pedr, “gad i mi ddod atat ti ar y dŵr.” 29“Iawn, tyrd,” meddai Iesu. Yna camodd Pedr allan o'r cwch a dechrau cerdded ar y dŵr tuag at Iesu. 30Ond pan welodd mor gryf oedd y gwynt, roedd arno ofn. Dechreuodd suddo, a gwaeddodd allan “Achub fi, Arglwydd!” 31Dyma Iesu'n estyn ei law allan a gafael ynddo. “Ble mae dy ffydd di?” meddai wrtho, “Pam wnest ti amau?” 32Wrth iddyn nhw ddringo i mewn i'r cwch dyma'r gwynt yn tawelu 33Dyma'r rhai oedd yn y cwch yn ei addoli, a dweud, “Ti ydy Mab Duw go iawn.”Iesu yn iacháu pobl yn Genesaret
(Marc 6:53-56) 34Ar ôl croesi'r llyn, dyma nhw'n glanio yn Genesaret. 35Dyma'r dynion yno yn nabod Iesu, ac yn anfon i ddweud wrth bawb drwy'r ardal i gyd. Roedd pobl yn dod â phawb oedd yn sâl ato 36ac yn pledio arno i adael iddyn nhw gyffwrdd y taselau ar ei glogyn. Roedd pawb oedd yn ei gyffwrdd yn cael eu hiacháu.
