Iesu'n anfon y saith deg dau allan
1Ar ôl hyn dyma Iesu'n penodi saith deg dau ▼▼10:1 saith deg dau: Mae rhai llawysgrifau yn dweud saith deg. Roedd traddodiad Iddewig yn dysgu fod saith deg o wledydd yn y byd. Ond mae'r LXX, sef y cyfieithiad Groeg o'r ysgrifau sanctaidd Iddewig yn rhoi “saith deg dau” yn lle “saith deg”. Drwy anfon y nifer yma o bobl allan roedd Iesu yn awgrymu fod ei neges ar gyfer pawb yn y byd i gyd.
o rai eraill a'u hanfon o'i flaen bob yn ddau i'r lleoedd roedd ar fin mynd iddyn nhw. 2Meddai wrthyn nhw, “Mae'r cynhaeaf mor fawr, a'r gweithwyr mor brin! Felly, gofynnwch i Arglwydd y cynhaeaf anfon mwy o weithwyr i'w feysydd. 3Ewch! Dw i'n eich anfon chi allan fel ŵyn i ganol pac o fleiddiaid. 4Peidiwch mynd â phwrs na bag teithio na sandalau gyda chi; a pheidiwch stopio i gyfarch neb ar y ffordd. 5“Pan ewch i mewn i gartre rhywun, gofynnwch i Dduw fendithio'r cartref hwnnw cyn gwneud unrhyw beth arall. 6Os oes rhywun yna sy'n agored i dderbyn y fendith, bydd yn cael ei fendithio; ond os oes neb, bydd y fendith yn dod yn ôl arnoch chi. 7Peidiwch symud o gwmpas o un tŷ i'r llall; arhoswch yn yr un lle, gan fwyta ac yfed beth bynnag sy'n cael ei roi o'ch blaen chi. Mae gweithiwr yn haeddu ei gyflog. 8“Os byddwch yn cael croeso mewn rhyw dref, bwytwch beth bynnag sy'n cael ei roi o'ch blaen chi. 9Ewch ati i iacháu y rhai sy'n glaf yno, a dweud wrthyn nhw, ‘Mae Duw ar fin dod ▼▼10:9 ar fin dod: Neu “wedi dod”.

Ond gallwch fod yn reit siŵr o hyn – bod Duw ar fin dod i deyrnasu!’ 12Wir i chi, bydd hi'n well ar Sodom ar ddydd y farn nag ar y dref honno! Gwae'r trefi sy'n gwrthod troi at Dduw

Na, byddi di'n cael dy fwrw i lawr i'r dyfnder tywyll! c 16“Mae pwy bynnag sy'n gwrando ar eich neges chi yn fy nerbyn i, a phwy bynnag sy'n eich gwrthod chi yn fy ngwrthod i hefyd. Ac mae pwy bynnag sy'n fy ngwrthod i yn gwrthod Duw, yr un sydd wedi fy anfon i.” 17Pan ddaeth y saith deg dau yn ôl, dyma nhw'n dweud yn frwd, “Arglwydd, mae hyd yn oed y cythreuliaid yn ufuddhau i ni wrth i ni dy enwi di.” 18Atebodd Iesu, “Gwelais Satan yn syrthio fel mellten o'r awyr! 19Dw i wedi rhoi'r awdurdod i chi dros holl nerth y gelyn! Gallwch sathru ar nadroedd a sgorpionau a fydd dim byd yn gwneud niwed i chi! 20Ond peidiwch bod yn llawen am fod ysbrydion drwg yn ufuddhau i chi; y rheswm dros fod yn llawen ydy bod eich enwau wedi eu hysgrifennu yn y nefoedd.”Iesu yn diolch i Dduw ei dad

Ie, fy Nhad, dyna sy'n dy blesio di. 22“Mae fy Nhad wedi rhoi popeth yn fy ngofal i. Does neb yn nabod y Mab go iawn ond y Tad, a does neb yn nabod y Tad go iawn ond y Mab, a'r rhai hynny mae'r Mab wedi dewis ei ddangos iddyn nhw.” 23Pan oedden nhw ar eu pennau eu hunain trodd at ei ddisgyblion a dweud, “Dych chi'n cael y fath fraint o weld beth sy'n digwydd! 24Dw i'n dweud wrthoch chi fod llawer o broffwydi a brenhinoedd wedi bod yn ysu am gael gweld beth dych chi'n ei weld a chlywed beth dych chi'n ei glywed, ond chawson nhw ddim.”Stori y Samariad caredig
25Un tro safodd un o'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith ar ei draed i roi prawf ar Iesu. Gofynnodd iddo, “Athro, beth sydd raid i mi ei wneud i gael bywyd tragwyddol?” 26Atebodd Iesu, “Beth mae Cyfraith Moses yn ei ddweud? Sut wyt ti'n ei deall?” 27Meddai'r dyn: “‘Rwyt i garu'r Arglwydd dy Dduw â'th holl galon, ac â'th holl enaid, â'th holl nerth ac â'th holl feddwl,’ a, ‘Rwyt i garu dy gymydog fel rwyt ti'n dy garu dy hun.’” d 28“Rwyt ti'n iawn!” meddai Iesu. “Gwna hynny a chei di fywyd.” e 29Ond roedd y dyn eisiau cyfiawnhau ei hun, felly gofynnodd i Iesu, “Ond pwy ydy fy nghymydog i?” 30Dyma sut atebodd Iesu: “Roedd dyn yn teithio i lawr o Jerwsalem i Jericho, a dyma ladron yn ymosod arno. Dyma nhw'n dwyn popeth oddi arno, ac yna ei guro cyn dianc. Cafodd ei adael bron marw ar ochr y ffordd. 31Dyma offeiriad Iddewig yn digwydd dod heibio, ond pan welodd y dyn yn gorwedd yno croesodd i ochr arall y ffordd a mynd yn ei flaen. 32A dyma un o Lefiaid y deml yn gwneud yr un peth; aeth i edrych arno, ond yna croesi'r ffordd a mynd yn ei flaen. 33Ond yna dyma Samariad yn dod i'r fan lle roedd y dyn yn gorwedd. Pan welodd e'r dyn, roedd yn teimlo trueni drosto. 34Aeth ato a rhwymo cadachau am ei glwyfau, a'u trin gydag olew a gwin. Yna cododd y dyn a'i roi ar gefn ei asyn ei hun, a dod o hyd i lety a gofalu amdano yno. 35Y diwrnod wedyn rhoddodd ddau ddenariws i berchennog y llety. ‘Gofala amdano,’ meddai wrtho, ‘Ac os bydd costau ychwanegol, gwna i dalu i ti y tro nesa bydda i'n mynd heibio.’ 36“Felly” meddai Iesu, “yn dy farn di, pa un o'r tri fu'n gymydog i'r dyn wnaeth y lladron ymosod arno?” 37Dyma'r arbenigwr yn y Gyfraith yn ateb, “Yr un wnaeth ei helpu.” Yna dwedodd Iesu, “Dos dithau a gwna'r un fath.”Yng nghartre Martha a Mair
38Wrth i Iesu deithio yn ei flaen i Jerwsalem gyda'i ddisgyblion, daeth i bentref lle roedd gwraig o'r enw Martha yn byw. A dyma hi'n rhoi croeso iddo i'w chartre. f 39Roedd gan Martha chwaer o'r enw Mair, ac eisteddodd hi o flaen yr Arglwydd yn gwrando ar yr hyn roedd e'n ei ddweud. 40Ond roedd yr holl baratoadau roedd angen eu gwneud yn cymryd sylw Martha i gyd, a daeth at Iesu a gofyn iddo, “Arglwydd, dwyt ti ddim yn poeni bod fy chwaer wedi gadael i mi wneud y gwaith i gyd? Dywed wrthi am ddod i helpu!” 41“Martha annwyl,” meddai'r Arglwydd wrthi, “rwyt ti'n poeni ac yn cynhyrfu am y pethau yna i gyd, 42ond dim ond un peth sydd wir yn bwysig. Mae Mair wedi dewis y peth hwnnw, a fydd neb yn gallu ei gymryd oddi arni hi.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
