Offrwm i lanhau o bechod damweiniol
1Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses: 2“Dywed wrth bobl Israel: Dyma sydd i ddigwydd pan mae rhywun yn pechu'n ddamweiniol a (trwy wneud rhywbeth mae'r Arglwydd wedi dweud wrthoch chi am beidio'i wneud): 3“Os ydy'r archoffeiriad wedi pechu mae'n effeithio ar bawb. Mae'n gwneud pawb yn euog. Felly rhaid iddo gyflwyno tarw ifanc sydd â dim byd o'i le arno yn offrwm puro i'w lanhau o'i bechod. 4Rhaid iddo fynd a'r tarw o flaen yr Arglwydd at y fynedfa i'r Tabernacl. Wedyn gosod ei law ar ben yr anifail cyn ei ladd yno. 5Yna bydd rhaid i'r archoffeiriad gymryd peth o waed y tarw i mewn i'r Tabernacl. 6Bydd yn rhoi ei fys yn y gwaed ac yn taenellu peth ohono saith gwaith i gyfeiriad y llen o flaen y cysegr. 7Wedyn bydd yn rhoi peth o'r gwaed ar gyrn allor yr arogldarth sydd yno o flaen yr Arglwydd. A bydd yn mynd â gweddill y gwaed a'i dywallt wrth droed yr allor i losgi offrymau sydd y tu allan i'r fynedfa i'r Tabernacl. 8“Bydd yr archoffeiriad wedyn yn cymryd brasder yr anifail i gyd: y brasder sydd o gwmpas perfeddion yr anifail ac ar yr organau gwahanol, 9y ddwy aren a'r brasder sydd arnyn nhw, a rhan isaf yr iau 10(Mae hyn yn union yr un fath â beth sy'n cael ei wneud i fustach yr offrwm i gydnabod daioni'r Arglwydd). Rhaid i'r archoffeiriad losgi'r brasder yma i gyd ar yr allor i losgi offrymau. 11Ond mae i fynd â gweddill y tarw y tu allan i'r gwersyll – y croen, y cig, ei ben a'i goesau, y perfeddion, a'r coluddion. Mae'r rhain i gael eu llosgi ar dân coed wrth ymyl tomen ludw'r brasder. Lle sydd wedi cael ei gysegru i'r pwrpas hwnnw. 13“Pan mae pobl Israel yn pechu yn fy erbyn i heb sylweddoli eu bod wedi gwneud hynny, maen nhw i gyd yn euog. 14Unwaith maen nhw'n sylweddoli beth maen nhw wedi ei wneud, maen nhw i ddod â tarw ifanc yn offrwm i'w glanhau o'u pechod. Rhaid cyflwyno'r anifail o flaen y Tabernacl. 15Yno bydd arweinwyr y bobl yn gosod eu dwylo ar ben y tarw o flaen yr Arglwydd. Wedyn bydd y tarw yn cael ei ladd o flaen yr Arglwydd. 16Wedyn bydd rhaid i'r archoffeiriad gymryd peth o waed y tarw i mewn i'r Tabernacl. 17Bydd yn rhoi ei fys yn y gwaed ac yn taenellu peth ohono saith gwaith i gyfeiriad y llen. 18Wedyn bydd yn rhoi peth o'r gwaed ar gyrn allor yr arogldarth sydd o flaen yr Arglwydd yn y Tabernacl. Yna bydd yn mynd â gweddill y gwaed a'i dywallt wrth droed yr allor i losgi offrymau tu allan i'r fynedfa i'r Tabernacl. 19Bydd yr archoffeiriad wedyn yn cymryd brasder yr anifail i gyd a'i losgi ar yr allor. 20Wedyn mae i wneud yr un peth gyda'r tarw yma ag a wnaeth gyda'r tarw gafodd ei offrymu dros ei bechod ei hun. Bydd yr archoffeiriad yn gwneud pethau'n iawn rhwng y bobl a Duw, a bydd Duw yn maddau iddyn nhw. 21Bydd e'n mynd â gweddill y tarw tu allan i'r gwersyll. Bydd e'n ei losgi yr un fath â'r tarw arall. Mae'n offrwm i lanhau pobl Israel o bechod. 22“Pan mae un o arweinwyr pobl Israel yn pechu yn fy erbyn i heb sylweddoli ei fod wedi gwneud hynny, mae e'n euog. 23Unwaith mae e'n sylweddoli beth mae wedi ei wneud, mae i fynd â bwch gafr heb ddim byd o'i le arno i'w aberthu. 24Rhaid iddo osod ei law ar ben y bwch gafr ac wedyn ei ladd o flaen yr Arglwydd (yn yr un lle ag mae'r offrwm i'w losgi yn cael ei ladd). Mae'n offrwm i'w lanhau o'i bechod. 25Wedyn mae offeiriad i gymryd peth o waed yr anifail a'i roi ar gyrn yr allor i losgi offrymau gyda'i fys. Ac wedyn bydd yn tywallt gweddill y gwaed wrth droed yr allor. 26Bydd yn llosgi'r brasder i gyd ar yr allor, fel roedd yn gwneud gyda brasder yr offrwm i gydnabod daioni'r Arglwydd. Felly bydd yr offeiriad yn gwneud pethau'n iawn rhyngddo â Duw, a bydd Duw yn maddau iddo am ei bechod. 27“Os ydy person cyffredin yn pechu yn fy erbyn i heb sylweddoli ei fod wedi gwneud hynny, mae e'n euog. 28Unwaith mae e'n sylweddoli beth mae e wedi ei wneud, mae i fynd â gafr sydd â dim byd o'i le arni i'w haberthu dros ei bechod. 29Wedyn rhaid iddo osod ei law ar ben yr afr sydd i'w haberthu, ac wedyn ei lladd (yn yr un lle ag mae'r offrwm sydd i'w losgi yn cael ei ladd). 30Wedyn mae offeiriad i gymryd peth o waed yr anifail a'i roi ar gyrn yr allor i losgi offrymau gyda'i fys. Ac wedyn bydd yn tywallt gweddill y gwaed wrth droed yr allor. 31Bydd y person sy'n cyflwyno'r offrwm yn cymryd brasder yr anifail (fel mae'n gwneud gyda'r offrwm i gydnabod daioni'r Arglwydd). Wedyn bydd yr offeiriad yn llosgi'r brasder ar yr allor – yn rhodd sy'n arogli'n hyfryd i'r Arglwydd. Felly bydd yr offeiriad yn gwneud pethau'n iawn rhyngddo â Duw, a bydd Duw yn maddau iddo am ei bechod. 32“Os ydy e'n dod â dafad yn offrwm dros ei bechod, rhaid iddi fod yn ddafad heb ddim byd o'i le arni. 33Wedyn rhaid iddo osod ei law ar ben y ddafad sydd i'w haberthu, ac yna ei lladd (yn yr un lle ag mae'r offrwm i'w losgi yn cael ei ladd). 34Wedyn mae offeiriad i gymryd peth o waed y ddafad a'i roi gyda'i fys ar gyrn yr allor i losgi offrymau. Ac wedyn bydd yn tywallt gweddill y gwaed wrth droed yr allor. 35Bydd y person sy'n cyflwyno'r offrwm yn cymryd brasder y ddafad (fel mae'n gwneud gyda'r offrwm i gydnabod daioni'r Arglwydd). How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
