Bendithion am fod yn ufudd i'r Arglwydd
(Deuteronomium 7:12-24; 28:1-14) 1“Peidiwch gwneud eilun-dduwiau i chi'ch hunain. Peidiwch gwneud delw o rywbeth, neu godi colofn gysegredig, na gosod cerflun ar eich tir i blygu o'i flaen a'i addoli. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd eich Duw chi. 2Rhaid i chi gadw fy Sabothau a pharchu fy lle cysegredig i. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd. 3“Os byddwch chi'n ufudd a ffyddlon, a gwneud beth dw i'n ddweud, 4bydda i'n anfon glaw ar yr amser iawn, er mwyn i gnydau dyfu ar y tir, a ffrwythau ar y coed. 5Byddwch yn cael cnydau gwych, a llwythi o rawnwin. Bydd gynnoch chi fwy na digon i'w fwyta, a cewch fyw yn saff yn y wlad. 6Bydda i'n rhoi heddwch a llonydd i chi. Byddwch yn gallu gorwedd i gysgu heb fod ofn. Bydda i'n cael gwared â'r anifeiliaid peryglus sy'n y wlad, a fydd neb yn ymosod ar y wlad. 7Byddwch chi'n concro eich gelynion. Byddwch yn eu lladd nhw gyda'r cleddyf. 8Bydd pump ohonoch chi yn curo cant ohonyn nhw, a chant yn curo deg mil. Byddwch yn eu lladd nhw gyda'r cleddyf. 9Bydda i'n eich helpu chi. Byddwch chi'n cael lot fawr o ddisgynyddion. Bydda i'n cadw'r ymrwymiad wnes i gyda chi. 10Fydd gynnoch chi ddim digon o le i gadw eich cnydau i gyd. Bydd rhaid i chi daflu peth o gnwd y flwyddyn cynt i ffwrdd. 11Bydda i yn dod i fyw yn eich canol chi. Fydda i ddim yn eich ffieiddio chi. 12Bydda i'n byw yn eich plith chi. Fi fydd eich Duw chi, a chi fydd fy mhobl i. 13Fi ydy'r Arglwydd eich Duw chi. Fi wnaeth eich achub chi o'r Aifft, er mwyn i chi beidio bod yn gaethweision iddyn nhw. (Deuteronomium 28:15-68) 14“Ond os byddwch chi'n anufudd ac yn gwrthod gwneud beth dw i'n ddweud, byddwch chi'n cael eich cosbi. 15Os byddwch chi'n gwrthod cadw fy rheolau i ac yn torri'r ymrwymiad wnes i gyda chi, 16dyma fydda i'n ei wneud: Bydda i'n dod â trychineb sydyn arnoch chi – afiechydon ellir mo'i gwella, gwres uchel, colli'ch golwg a cholli archwaeth am fwyd. Byddwch yn hau eich had i ddim byd achos bydd eich gelynion yn bwyta'r cnwd. 17Bydda i'n troi yn eich erbyn chi. Bydd eich gelynion yn eich sathru chi dan draed. Bydd y rhai sy'n eich casáu chi yn eich rheoli chi. Byddwch chi'n dianc i ffwrdd er bod neb yn eich erlid chi. 18Ac os byddwch chi'n dal ddim yn gwrando arna i, bydda i'n eich cosbi chi yn llawer gwaeth. ▼▼26:18 llawer iawn gwaeth Hebraeg, “saith gwaith”.
19Bydda i'n delio gyda'ch balchder ystyfnig chi. Bydd yr awyr yn galed fel haearn, a'r ddaear fel pres, am fod dim glaw. 20Byddwch chi'n gweithio'n galed i ddim byd. Fydd dim cnydau'n tyfu ar y tir, a dim ffrwyth yn tyfu ar y coed. 21“Os dych chi'n mynnu tynnu'n groes a gwrthod gwrando, bydda i'n eich cosbi chi'n waeth fyth. 22Bydda i'n anfon anifeiliaid gwylltion i ymosod arnoch chi. Byddan nhw'n lladd eich plant, yn difa eich anifeiliaid. Bydd y boblogaeth yn lleihau a'r ffyrdd yn wag. 23“Os fydd hynny i gyd ddim yn gwneud i chi droi yn ôl ata i, ac os byddwch chi'n dal i dynnu'n groes, 24bydda i'n troi yn eich erbyn chi. Bydda i, ie fi fy hun, yn eich cosbi chi waeth fyth. 25Bydd rhyfel yn dechrau. Dyma'r dial wnes i sôn amdano pan wnes i'r ymrwymiad gyda chi. Byddwch chi'n dianc i'r trefi caerog, ond yn dioddef o afiechydon yno, a bydd eich gelynion yn eich dal chi. 26Fydd gynnoch chi ddim bwyd. Bydd un ffwrn yn ddigon i ddeg o wragedd bobi ynddi. Fydd yna ddim ond briwsion i bawb. Fydd yna byth ddigon i'w fwyta. 27“Wedyn os fyddwch chi'n dal ddim yn gwrando arna i, ac yn dal i dynnu'n groes, 28bydda i'n wirioneddol ddig. Bydda i'n troi yn eich erbyn chi, a bydda i, ie fi fy hun, yn eich cosbi chi'n ofnadwy. 29Byddwch chi'n dioddef newyn mor ofnadwy nes byddwch chi'n bwyta eich plant eich hunain – eich bechgyn a'ch merched. 30Bydda i'n dinistrio eich allorau paganaidd chi, a'ch lleoedd cysegredig, ac yn taflu eich cyrff marw chi ar ‛gyrff‛ eich eilun-dduwiau chi. Bydda i'n eich ffieiddio chi. 31Bydd eich trefi'n adfeilion a'ch temlau chi'n cael eu dinistrio. Fydd eich offrymau chi ddim yn fy mhlesio i o gwbl. 32Bydd eich tir chi yn y fath gyflwr, bydd y gelynion fydd yn dod i fyw yno wedi dychryn. 33Bydd y rhyfel yn dinistrio'r wlad a'r trefi, a byddwch chi'n cael eich gyrru ar chwâl drwy'r gwledydd. 34Tra byddwch chi'n gaethion yng ngwlad eich gelynion, bydd y tir yn cael gorffwys. 35Bydd e'n cael mwynhau gorffwys y Saboth oedd i fod i'w gael pan oeddech chi'n byw yno. 36Bydd y rhai ohonoch chi fydd yn dal yn fyw wedi anobeithio'n llwyr yng ngwlad y gelyn. Bydd sŵn deilen yn ysgwyd yn ddigon i'w dychryn nhw. Byddan nhw'n dianc oddi wrth y cleddyf, ac yn syrthio er bod neb yn eu herlid nhw. 37Byddwch chi'n baglu dros eich gilydd wrth ddianc, er bod neb ar eich holau chi. Fydd neb ohonoch chi'n ddigon cryf i sefyll yn erbyn y gelyn. 38Bydd llawer ohonoch chi yn marw ac yn cael eich claddu mewn gwledydd tramor. 39A bydd y rhai sy'n dal yn fyw yn gwywo yng ngwlad y gelyn o achos eu drygioni, ar holl bethau drwg wnaeth eu hynafiaid. 40“Ond os gwnân nhw gyfaddef eu bod nhw a'u hynafiaid wedi bod ar fai; eu bod nhw wedi fy mradychu, bod yn anffyddlon a tynnu'n groes i mi. 41(Dyna pam wnes i droi yn eu herbyn nhw a mynd â nhw i wlad eu gelynion). Os gwnân nhw stopio bod mor ystyfnig a derbyn eu bod nhw wedi bod ar fai, 42bydda i'n cofio'r ymrwymiad wnes i gyda Jacob, a gydag Isaac, a gydag Abraham, a beth wnes i addo am y tir rois i iddyn nhw. 43Byddan nhw wedi gadael y tir er mwyn iddo fwynhau gorffwys y Sabothau oedd i fod i'w cael. Bydd y tir yn gorwedd yn anial hebddyn nhw. Bydd rhaid iddyn nhw dderbyn eu bod nhw wedi bod ar fai yn gwrthod gwrando arna i na chadw fy rheolau. 44“Ac eto i gyd, pan fyddan nhw yng ngwlad eu gelynion, fydda i ddim yn troi cefn arnyn nhw a'u ffieiddio nhw a'u dinistrio nhw'n llwyr. Fydda i ddim yn torri'r ymrwymiad wnes i gyda nhw, am mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd eu Duw nhw. 45Bydda i'n cofio'r ymrwymiad wnes i gyda'i hynafiaid nhw pan ddes i â nhw allan o'r Aifft i fod yn Dduw iddyn nhw. Roedd pobl y gwledydd i gyd wedi gweld y peth. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd.” 46Dyma'r rheolau a'r canllawiau roddodd yr Arglwydd i bobl Israel trwy Moses ar Fynydd Sinai.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
