Rheolau crefyddol a moesol
1Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses: 2“Dywed wrth bobl Israel: Fi ydy'r Arglwydd eich Duw chi. Rhaid i chi fod yn sanctaidd am fy mod i'n sanctaidd. 3Rhaid i bob un ohonoch chi barchu ei fam a'i dad.Rhaid i chi gadw fy Sabothau. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd eich Duw chi.
4Peidiwch troi cefn arna i ac addoli eilunod diwerth, na gwneud delwau o fetel tawdd. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd eich Duw chi.
5Pan fyddwch chi'n cyflwyno offrwm i gydnabod daioni'r Arglwydd, rhaid i chi ei gyflwyno mewn ffordd sy'n ei wneud yn dderbyniol. 6Rhaid ei fwyta ar y diwrnod mae'n cael ei aberthu neu'r diwrnod wedyn. Os oes peth ar ôl ar y trydydd diwrnod rhaid ei losgi. 7Dydy e ddim i gael ei fwyta y diwrnod hwnnw. Mae'n gig sydd wedi ei halogi. Dydy e ddim yn dderbyniol i Dduw. 8Bydd pwy bynnag sy'n ei fwyta yn cael ei gosbi am bechu, am ei fod wedi trin rhywbeth sydd wedi ei gysegru i'r Arglwydd yn sarhaus. Bydd y person hwnnw yn cael ei dorri allan o gymdeithas pobl Dduw.
9Pan fyddi'n casglu'r cynhaeaf, rhaid i ti beidio casglu'r cwbl o bob cornel o'r cae. A paid mynd drwy'r cae yn casglu popeth sydd wedi ei adael ar ôl. 10Paid casglu'r grawnwin sy'n dy winllan i gyd. A paid mynd trwy'r winllan yn casglu'r ffrwyth sydd wedi disgyn ar lawr. Rhaid i ti adael peth i bobl dlawd, ac i'r rhai sydd ddim yn bobl Israel. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd dy Dduw di.
11Paid dwyn.
Paid dweud celwydd.
Paid twyllo pobl eraill.
12Paid defnyddio fy enw wrth gymryd llw rwyt ti'n mynd i'w dorri. Mae gwneud peth felly yn amharchu enw Duw. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd.
13Paid cymryd mantais o bobl eraill neu ddwyn oddi arnyn nhw.
Tala ei gyflog i weithiwr ar ddiwedd y dydd, paid cadw'r arian tan y bore.
14Paid enllibio rhywun sy'n fyddar, neu osod rhywbeth o flaen rhywun sy'n ddall i wneud iddo faglu. Parcha Dduw. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd.
15Paid bod yn annheg wrth farnu. Paid cadw ochr rhywun am ei fod yn dlawd na dangos parch at rywun am ei fod yn bwysig. Bydd yn hollol deg wrth farnu.
16Paid mynd o gwmpas dy bobl yn dweud celwydd a hel clecs.
Paid gwneud dim sy'n rhoi bywyd rhywun arall mewn perygl. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd.
17Paid dal dig yn erbyn rhywun. Os oes gen ti ddadl gyda rhywun, mae'n well delio gyda'r peth yn agored rhag i ti bechu o'i achos e.
18Paid dial ar bobl neu ddal dig yn eu herbyn nhw. Rwyt i garu dy gymydog fel rwyt ti'n dy garu dy hun. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd. 19Byddwch yn ufudd i mi.
Paid croesi dau fath gwahanol o anifail gyda'i gilydd.
Paid hau dau fath gwahanol o hadau yn dy gaeau.
Paid gwisgo dillad wedi eu gwneud o ddau fath gwahanol o ddefnydd.
20“Os ydy dyn yn cael rhyw gyda caethforwyn sydd wedi ei dyweddïo i ddyn arall ond heb eto gael ei phrynu'n rhydd, rhaid iddyn nhw gael eu cosbi. Fyddan nhw ddim yn wynebu'r gosb eithaf am nad oedd hi eto wedi cael ei rhyddid. 21Ond rhaid i'r dyn ddod ag offrwm i gyfaddef ei fai i'r Arglwydd at fynedfa Pabell Presenoldeb Duw – offrwm o hwrdd i gyfaddef ei fai. 22Mae'r offeiriad i gymryd yr hwrdd a mynd trwy'r ddefod o wneud pethau'n iawn rhwng y dyn sydd wedi pechu a'r Arglwydd. Bydd Duw yn maddau iddo am y pechod. 23“Pan fyddwch wedi cyrraedd y wlad, ac wedi plannu coed ffrwythau yno, rhaid i chi beidio casglu'r ffrwyth na'i fwyta am dair blynedd. 24Yn y bedwaredd flwyddyn mae'r ffrwyth i gael ei gysegru yn offrwm o fawl i'r Arglwydd. 25Wedyn yn y bumed flwyddyn cewch fwyta'r ffrwyth. Os gwnewch chi hyn byddwch yn cael cnydau lawer iawn mwy. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd eich Duw chi. 26Peidiwch bwyta dim byd sydd â gwaed yn dal ynddo.
Peidiwch gwneud pethau fel dweud ffortiwn neu ddewino.
27Peidiwch siafio'r gwallt ar ochr eich pen, na trimio'ch barf, 28na torri'ch hunain â chyllyll wrth alaru am rywun sydd wedi marw.
Peidiwch rhoi tatŵ ar eich corff. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd.
29Paid amharchu dy ferch drwy ei gwneud hi'n butain crefyddol, rhag i'r wlad i gyd droi cefn arna i ac ymddwyn yn gwbl ffiaidd fel puteiniaid.
30Rhaid i chi gadw fy Sabothau a pharchu fy lle cysegredig i. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd.
31Peidiwch mynd ar ôl ysbrydion neu siarad â'r meirw. Mae pethau felly'n eich gwneud chi'n aflan yng ngolwg Duw. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd eich Duw chi.
32Dylet godi ar dy draed i ddangos parch at bobl mewn oed. Ac ofni Duw. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd.
33Paid cam-drin mewnfudwyr sy'n byw yn eich plith chi. 34Dylet ti eu trin nhw a dy bobl dy hun yr un fath. Dylet ti eu caru nhw am mai pobl ydyn nhw fel ti. Pobl o'r tu allan oeddech chi yn yr Aifft. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd eich Duw chi.
35“Peidiwch twyllo wrth fesur hyd rhywbeth, pwysau, na mesur hylifol. 36Dylech ddefnyddio clorian sy'n gywir, pwysau cywir a mesurau sych a hylifol cywir. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd eich Duw chi. Fi wnaeth eich achub chi o'r Aifft. 37Byddwch yn ufudd a chadw fy rheolau i gyd. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd.”

How do I do a word study?
- What information can I find about a word?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
