3heibio i'r de o Fwlch y Sgorpion, ar draws i Sin ac yna i'r ochr isaf i Cadesh-barnea. Yna roedd yn croesi i Hesron, ac yn mynd i fyny i Adar, cyn troi i gyfeiriad Carca. 4Wedyn roedd yn croesi i Atsmon ac yn dilyn Wadi'r Aifft yr holl ffordd i Fôr y Canoldir. Dyna oedd y ffin yn y de.5Y Môr Marw at aber Afon Iorddonen oedd y ffin i'r dwyrain.
Wedyn roedd y ffin ogleddol yn ymestyn o aber yr Iorddonen ar ben uchaf y Môr Marw, 6i fyny i Beth-hogla, yna ar draws o du uchaf Beth-araba at Garreg Bohan (mab Reuben). 7Ymlaen wedyn i Debir o Ddyffryn Achor, cyn troi i'r gogledd i gyfeiriad Gilgal (sydd gyferbyn â Bwlch Adwmim, i'r de o'r ceunant.) Yna heibio Dyfroedd En-shemesh cyn belled ag En-rogel ▼

. 8Wedyn roedd y ffin yn dilyn Dyffryn Hinnom at y llethr sydd i'r de o dre'r Jebwsiaid (sef Jerwsalem). Yna i'r gorllewin, ac i gopa'r mynydd sydd gyferbyn â Dyffryn Ben-hinnom ac i'r gogledd o Ddyffryn Reffaïm. 9O dop y mynydd roedd yn mynd at ffynnon dyfroedd Nefftoach, at drefi Mynydd Effron, ac yna'n troi i gyfeiriad Baäla (sef Ciriath-iearim). 10Wedyn roedd yn troi i'r gorllewin o Baäla i gyfeiriad Mynydd Seir, ac yn croesi i dref Cesalon ar lethr gogleddol Mynydd Iearim, cyn mynd i lawr i Beth-shemesh a chroesi i Timna. 11Yna i gyfeiriad y gogledd at lethrau Ecron, ymlaen i Shicron, croesi i Fynydd Baäla, ac i Iabneël a Môr y Canoldir.12Môr y Canoldir ei hun oedd y ffin orllewinol.
Dyna oedd ffiniau teuluoedd llwyth Jwda.
Caleb yn concro Hebron a Debir
(Barnwyr 1:11-15) 13Cafodd tref Ciriath-arba (sef Hebron) ei rhoi i Caleb fab Jeffwnne, fel roedd yr Arglwydd wedi gorchymyn i Josua. (Arba oedd hynafiad yr Anaciaid.) 14Dyma Caleb yn gyrru allan dri cawr oedd yn ddisgynyddion i Anac, sef Sheshai, Achiman a Talmai. 15Yna dyma fe'n ymosod ar y bobl oedd yn byw yn Debir. (Ciriath-seffer oedd yr hen enw ar Debir.) 16Roedd Caleb wedi dweud, “Bydd pwy bynnag sy'n ymosod ar dref Ciriath-seffer ac yn ei choncro yn cael priodi fy merch Achsa.” 17Othniel, mab Cenas (brawd Caleb) wnaeth goncro'r dref, a dyma Caleb yn rhoi ei ferch, Achsa, yn wraig iddo. 18Pan briododd hi Othniel, dyma hi'n ei berswadio i adael iddi ofyn i'w thad am fwy o dir. Wrth iddi ddod i lawr oddi ar gefn ei hasyn, dyma ei thad Caleb yn gofyn iddi, “Beth sy'n bod?” 19A dyma hi'n ateb, “Dw i eisiau gofyn am rodd arall gen ti. Rwyt ti wedi rhoi tir i mi yn y Negef, ond wnei di roi ffynhonnau dŵr i mi hefyd?” A dyma Caleb yn rhoi'r ffynhonnau uchaf a'r ffynhonnau isaf iddi.Trefi Jwda
20Dyma'r tir gafodd ei roi i deuluoedd llwyth Jwda: 21Y trefi i lawr yn y de ar y ffin gydag Edom: Cabseël, Eder, Iagwr, 22Cina, Dimona, Adada, 23Cedesh, Chatsor, Ithnan, 24Siff, Telem, Bealoth, 25Chatsor-chadatta, Cerioth-chetsron (sef Chatsor), 26Amam, Shema, Molada, 27Chatsar-gada, Cheshmon, Beth-pelet, 28Chatsar-shwal, Beersheba, Bisiothia, 29Baäla, Ïim, Etsem, 30Eltolad, Cesil, Horma, 31Siclag, Madmanna, Sansanna, 32Lebaoth, Shilchim, Ain a Rimmon. Dau ddeg naw o drefi, a'r pentrefi o'u cwmpas.33Yna'r trefi ar yr iseldir: Eshtaol, Sora, Ashna, 34Sanoach, En-gannïm, Tappŵach, Enam, 35Iarmwth, Adwlam, Socho, Aseca, 36Shaaraim, Adithaïm, a Gedera (neu Gederothaim) – un deg pedair o drefi, a'r pentrefi o'u cwmpas.
37Hefyd trefi Senan, Chadasha, Migdal-gad, 38Dilean, Mitspe, Iocteël, 39Lachish, Botscath, Eglon, 40Cabbon, Lachmas, Citlish, 41Gederoth, Beth-dagon, Naäma, a Macceda – un deg chwech o drefi, a'r pentrefi o'u cwmpas.
42Trefi Libna, Ether, Ashan, 43Ifftach, Ashna, Netsib, 44Ceila, Achsib, a Maresha – naw o drefi, a'r pentrefi o'u cwmpas.
45Yna Ecron a'r trefi a'r pentrefi o'i chwmpas hi, 46ac i gyfeiriad y gorllewin, y trefi oedd yn ymyl Ashdod, a'r pentrefi o'u cwmpas. 47Ashdod ei hun, a Gasa a'r trefi a'r pentrefi o'u cwmpas – yr holl ffordd at Wadi'r Aifft ac arfordir Môr y Canoldir.
48Wedyn y trefi yn y bryniau: Shamîr, Iattir, Socho, 49Danna, Ciriath-sanna (sef Debir), 50Anab, Eshtemoa, Anim, 51Gosen, Holon, a Gilo – un deg un o drefi, a'r pentrefi o'u cwmpas.
52Hefyd Arab, Dwma, Eshan, 53Janwm, Beth-tappwach, Affeca, 54Chwmta, Ciriath-arba (sef Hebron), a Sior – naw o drefi, a'r pentrefi o'u cwmpas.

63Ond wnaeth dynion Jwda ddim llwyddo i goncro'r Jebwsiaid oedd yn byw yn Jerwsalem. Felly mae'r Jebwsiaid yn dal i fyw gyda phobl Jwda hyd heddiw.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
