1“Dw i wedi dweud hyn i gyd wrthoch chi er mwyn i chi beidio troi cefn arna i. 2Byddwch chi'n cael eich diarddel o'r synagog. Ac mae'r amser yn dod pan bydd pobl yn meddwl eu bod nhw'n gwneud ffafr i Dduw trwy eich lladd chi. 3Byddan nhw'n eich trin chi felly am eu bod nhw ddim wedi nabod y Tad na fi. 4Ond dw i wedi dweud hyn i gyd wrthoch chi, wedyn pan ddaw'r amser hwnnw byddwch chi'n cofio fy mod i wedi eich rhybuddio chi. 5“Bellach dw i'n mynd yn ôl at Dduw, yr un anfonodd fi, a does neb ohonoch chi'n gofyn, ‘Ble rwyt ti'n mynd?’ 6Ond am fy mod wedi dweud hyn, dych chi'n llawn tristwch. 7Ond credwch chi fi: Mae o fantais i chi fy mod i'n mynd i ffwrdd. Fydd e ddim yn siarad ar ei liwt ei hun – bydd ond yn dweud beth mae'n ei glywed, a bydd yn dweud wrthoch chi beth fydd yn digwydd. 14Bydd yn fy anrhydeddu i drwy gymryd beth dw i'n ei ddweud a'i rannu gyda chi. 15Mae popeth sydd gan y Tad yn eiddo i mi hefyd, a dyna pam dw i'n dweud y bydd yr Ysbryd yn cymryd beth dw i'n ei ddweud a'i rannu gyda chi. Bydd tristwch y disgyblion yn troi'n llawenydd
16“Yn fuan iawn bydda i wedi mynd, a fyddwch chi ddim yn fy ngweld i ddim mwy. Yna'n fuan iawn wedyn byddwch yn fy ngweld i eto.” 17Dyma'i ddisgyblion yn gofyn i'w gilydd, “Beth mae'n ei olygu wrth ddweud, ‘Yn fuan iawn bydda i wedi mynd, a fyddwch chi ddim yn fy ngweld i ddim mwy. Yna'n fuan iawn wedi hynny byddwch yn fy ngweld eto’? A beth mae ‘Am fy mod i'n mynd at y Tad’ yn ei olygu? 18Beth ydy ystyr ‘Yn fuan iawn’? Dŷn ni ddim yn deall.” 19Roedd Iesu'n gwybod eu bod nhw eisiau gofyn iddo am hyn, felly meddai wrthyn nhw, “Dych chi'n trafod beth dw i'n ei olygu wrth ddweud, ‘Yn fuan iawn bydda i wedi mynd, a fyddwch chi ddim yn fy ngweld i ddim mwy. Yna'n fuan iawn wedyn byddwch yn fy ngweld eto.’ 20Credwch chi fi, Byddwch chi'n galaru ac yn crïo tra bydd y byd yn dathlu. Byddwch yn drist go iawn, ond bydd y tristwch yn troi'n llawenydd. 21Mae gwraig mewn poen pan mae'n cael babi, ond mae hi mor llawen pan mae ei babi wedi cael ei eni mae hi'n anghofio'r poen! 22Yr un fath gyda chi: Dych chi'n teimlo'n drist ar hyn o bryd. Ond bydda i yn eich gweld chi eto a byddwch chi'n dathlu, a fydd neb yn gallu dwyn eich llawenydd oddi arnoch chi. 23Fydd dim cwestiynau gynnoch chi i'w gofyn y diwrnod hwnnw. Credwch chi fi, bydd fy Nhad yn rhoi i chi beth bynnag a ofynnwch i mi am awdurdod i'w wneud. 24Dych chi ddim wedi gofyn am awdurdod i wneud dim hyd yn hyn. Gofynnwch a byddwch yn derbyn. Byddwch chi'n wirioneddol hapus! 25“Dw i wedi bod yn defnyddio darluniau wrth siarad â chi hyd yn hyn, ond mae'r amser yn dod pan fydd dim angen gwneud hynny. Bydda i'n gallu siarad yn blaen gyda chi am fy Nhad. 26Y diwrnod hwnnw byddwch yn gofyn i Dduw am fy awdurdod i. Dim fi fydd yn gofyn i'r Tad ar eich rhan chi. 27Na, mae'r Tad ei hun yn eich caru chi am eich bod chi wedi fy ngharu i, ac am eich bod chi wedi credu fy mod wedi dod oddi wrth y Tad. 28Dw i wedi dod i'r byd oddi wrth y Tad, a dw i ar fin gadael y byd a mynd yn ôl at y Tad.” 29“Nawr rwyt ti'n siarad yn blaen!” meddai'r disgyblion. “Dim darluniau i'w dehongli. 30Dŷn ni'n gweld bellach dy fod di'n gwybod pob peth. Does dim rhaid i ti ofyn i unrhyw un beth maen nhw'n ei feddwl hyd yn oed. Mae hynny'n ddigon i wneud i ni gredu dy fod di wedi dod oddi wrth Dduw.” 31“Dych chi'n credu ydych chi?” meddai Iesu. 32“Mae'r amser yn dod, yn wir mae yma, pan fyddwch chi'n mynd ar chwâl. Bydd pob un ohonoch chi'n mynd adre, a byddwch yn fy ngadael i ar fy mhen fy hun. Ond dw i ddim wir ar fy mhen fy hun, am fod fy Nhad gyda fi. 33“Dw i wedi dweud y pethau hyn wrthoch chi, er mwyn i chi gael yr heddwch go iawn sydd ynof fi. Dim ond trafferthion gewch chi yn y byd hwn. Ond codwch eich calonnau, dw i wedi concro'r byd.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
