2Bydd yn ddiwrnod tywyll ofnadwy;
diwrnod o gymylau duon bygythiol. b
Mae byddin enfawr yn dod dros y bryniau.
Does dim byd tebyg wedi digwydd erioed o'r blaen,
a welwn ni ddim byd tebyg byth eto.
3Mae fflamau tân o'u cwmpas,
yn dinistrio popeth sydd yn eu ffordd.
Mae'r wlad o'u blaenau yn ffrwythlon fel Gardd Eden,
ond tu ôl iddyn nhw mae fel anialwch diffaith.
Does dim posib dianc!
4Maen nhw'n edrych fel ceffylau,
ac yn carlamu fel meirch rhyfel.
5Maen nhw'n swnio fel cerbydau rhyfel
yn rhuthro dros y bryniau;
fel sŵn clecian fflamau'n llosgi bonion gwellt,
neu sŵn byddin enfawr yn paratoi i ymosod.
6Mae pobl yn gwingo mewn panig o'u blaenau;
mae wynebau pawb yn troi'n welw o ofn.
7Fel tyrfa o filwyr, maen nhw'n martsio
ac yn dringo i fyny'r waliau.
Maen nhw'n dod yn rhesi disgybledig
does dim un yn gadael y rhengoedd.
8Dŷn nhw ddim yn baglu ar draws ei gilydd;
mae pob un yn martsio'n syth yn ei flaen.
Dydy saethau a gwaywffyn
ddim yn gallu eu stopio.
9Maen nhw'n rhuthro i mewn i'r ddinas,
yn dringo dros y waliau,
ac i mewn i'r tai.
Maen nhw'n dringo i mewn
fel lladron drwy'r ffenestri.
10Mae fel petai'r ddaear yn crynu o'u blaenau,
a'r awyr yn chwyrlïo.
Mae'r haul a'r lleuad yn tywyllu,
a'r sêr yn diflannu.
11Mae llais yr Arglwydd yn taranu
wrth iddo arwain ei fyddin.
Mae eu niferoedd yn enfawr!
Maen nhw'n gwneud beth mae'n ei orchymyn.
Ydy, mae dydd yr Arglwydd yn ddiwrnod mawr;
mae'n ddychrynllyd! – Pa obaith sydd i unrhyw un? c
Duw yn gofyn i bobl newid eu ffyrdd
12Ond dyma neges yr Arglwydd: “Dydy hi ddim yn rhy hwyr.Trowch yn ôl ata i o ddifri.
Ewch heb fwyd. Trowch ata i yn eich dagrau,
a galaru am eich ymddygiad.
13Rhwygwch eich calonnau, d
yn lle dim ond rhwygo eich dillad.”
Trowch yn ôl at yr Arglwydd eich Duw!
Mae e mor garedig a thrugarog;
mor amyneddgar ac yn anhygoel o hael,
a ddim yn hoffi cosbi. e
14Pwy ŵyr? Falle y bydd e'n drugarog ac yn troi yn ôl.
Falle y bydd e'n dewis bendithio o hyn ymlaen!
Wedyn cewch gyflwyno offrwm o rawn
ac offrwm o ddiod i'r Arglwydd eich Duw!

a paratoi pawb i ddod at ei gilydd i addoli.
Dewch a'r arweinwyr at ei gilydd.
Dewch a'r plant yno, a'r babis bach.
Dylai hyd yn oed y rhai sydd newydd briodi ddod g –
does neb i gadw draw!
17Dylai'r offeiriaid, y rhai sy'n gwasanaethu'r Arglwydd,
wylo o'r cyntedd i'r allor,
a gweddïo fel hyn:
“Arglwydd, wnei di faddau i dy bobl?
Paid gadael i'r wlad yma droi'n destun sbort.
Paid gadael i baganiaid ein llywodraethu ni!
Pam ddylai pobl y gwledydd gael dweud,
‘Felly, ble mae eu Duw nhw?’” h
Bydd yr Arglwydd yn bendithio'r wlad
18Wedyn dyma'r Arglwydd yn dangos ei sêl dros y wlad. Buodd yn drugarog at ei bobl. 19Dyma fe'n dweud wrth ei bobl: “Edrychwch! Dw i'n mynd i'ch bendithio chi unwaith eto!Dw i'n mynd i roi cnydau da i chi,
a digonedd o sudd grawnwin ac olew olewydd.
Bydd gynnoch chi fwy na digon!
Fyddwch chi ddim yn destun sbort
i'r gwledydd o'ch cwmpas chi.
20Bydda i'n gyrru'r un ddaeth o'r gogledd i ffwrdd,
ac yn ei wthio i dir sych a diffaith.
Bydd yr hanner blaen yn cael eu gyrru i'r Môr Marw yn y dwyrain,
a'r hanner ôl yn cael eu gyrru i Fôr y Canoldir yn y gorllewin.
Yno y byddan nhw'n pydru,
a bydd eu drewdod yn codi.”

ac mae ffrwythau'n tyfu ar y coed.
Mae'r coed ffigys a'r gwinwydd yn llawn ffrwyth.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
