Jeremeia yn cyhoeddi neges Duw yn y Deml
1Dyma neges arall roddodd yr Arglwydd i Jeremeia: 2“Dos i sefyll wrth y giât i deml yr Arglwydd, a chyhoeddi'r neges yma: ‘Bobl Jwda, sy'n mynd i mewn drwy'r giatiau yma i addoli'r Arglwydd, gwrandwch! 3Mae'r Arglwydd holl-bwerus, Duw Israel, yn dweud fod rhaid i chi ddechrau newid eich ffyrdd. Os gwnewch chi, cewch chi aros yn eich gwlad. 4Peidiwch credu'r twyll sy'n addo y byddwch chi'n saff wrth ddweud, “Teml yr Arglwydd ydy hon! Teml yr Arglwydd ydy hi! Teml yr Arglwydd!” 5“‘Rhaid i chi newid eich ffyrdd, dechrau trin pobl eraill yn deg, 6peidio cam-drin mewnfudwyr, plant amddifad a gwragedd gweddwon. Peidio lladd pobl ddiniwed ac addoli eilun-dduwiau paganaidd. Dych chi ond yn gwneud drwg i chi'ch hunain! 7Os newidiwch chi eich ffyrdd, bydda i'n gadael i chi aros yn y wlad yma, sef y wlad rois i i'ch hynafiaid chi i'w chadw am byth bythoedd. 8“‘Ond dyma chi, yn credu'r celwydd fydd ddim help i chi yn y diwedd! 9Ydy'n iawn eich bod chi'n dwyn, llofruddio, godinebu, dweud celwydd ar lw, llosgi arogldarth i Baal, ac addoli eilun-dduwiau dych chi'n gwybod dim amdanyn nhw, 10ac wedyn dod i sefyll yn y deml yma – fy nheml i – a dweud “Dŷn ni'n saff!”? Yna cario ymlaen i wneud yr holl bethau ffiaidd yna! 11Ydy'r deml yma – fy nheml i – wedi troi yn guddfan i ladron? Gwyliwch eich hunain! Dw i wedi gweld beth ydych chi'n wneud,’” meddai'r Arglwydd. 12“‘Ewch i Seilo, ble roeddwn i'n cael fy addoli o'r blaen ▼▼7:12 Seilo … o'r blaengw. Josua 18:31; 1 Samuel 1:3 etc. Roedd Seilo ryw 18 milltir i'r gogledd o Jerwsalem. Mae tystiolaeth archaeolegol yn dangos ei bod wedi ei dinistrio tua 1050 CC, gan y Philistiaid mae'n debyg, yn dilyn y frwydr y sonir amdani yn 1 Samuel 4:1-11. gw. hefyd Salm 78:60-61.

Ewch i weld beth wnes i yno, o achos yr holl bethau drwg wnaeth fy mhobl – pobl Israel. 13A nawr, dych chi'n gwneud yr un pethau!’” meddai'r Arglwydd. “‘Dw i wedi ceisio dweud wrthoch chi dro ar ôl tro, ond doeddech chi ddim am wrando. Roeddwn i'n galw arnoch chi, ond doeddech chi ddim am ateb. 14Felly, dw i'n mynd i ddinistrio'r deml yma dych chi'n meddwl fydd yn eich cadw chi'n saff – ie, fy nheml i fy hun. Dw i'n mynd i ddinistrio'r lle yma rois i i chi a'ch hynafiaid, yn union fel y gwnes i ddinistrio Seilo! 15Dw i'n mynd i'ch gyrru chi o'm golwg i, yn union fel gwnes i yrru pobl Israel i ffwrdd. ▼▼7:15 yn union … i ffwrdd Cyfeiriad at beth ddigwyddodd i Israel yn 722 CC, pan gawson nhw eu concro gan Assyria.

16“A ti Jeremeia, paid gweddïo dros y bobl yma. Paid galw arna i na gweddïo drostyn nhw. Paid pledio arna i i'w helpu nhw, achos fydda i ddim yn gwrando arnat ti. 17Wyt ti ddim yn gweld beth maen nhw'n ei wneud drwy drefi Jwda a strydoedd Jerwsalem? 18Mae'r plant yn casglu coed tân, y tadau'n cynnau'r tân a'r gwragedd yn paratoi toes i wneud cacennau i'r dduwies maen nhw'n ei galw'n ‛Frenhines y Nefoedd‛! ▼▼7:18 Brenhines y Nefoedd Y dduwies Asyriaidd Ishtar o bosibl.
Maen nhw'n tywallt offrwm o ddiod i dduwiau paganaidd dim ond i'm gwylltio i. 19Ond dim fi ydy'r un sy'n cael ei frifo!” meddai'r Arglwydd. “Brifo nhw'u hunain, a cywilyddio nhw'n hunain maen nhw yn y pen draw.” 20Felly dyma mae'r Meistr, yr Arglwydd, yn ei ddweud: “Dw i'n wyllt gandryll, a bydda i'n tywallt fy llid ar y lle yma. Bydd pobl ac anifeiliaid, coed a chnydau yn cael eu dinistrio. Bydd fel tân sydd ddim yn diffodd.” 21Dyma mae'r Arglwydd holl-bwerus, Duw Israel, yn ei ddweud: “Cymerwch gig yr offrwm sydd i'w losgi'n llwyr a'i ychwanegu at yr aberthau eraill. Waeth i chi fwyta hwnnw hefyd! 22Pan ddes i â'ch hynafiaid chi allan o wlad yr Aifft, nid rhoi rheolau iddyn nhw am offrymau i'w llosgi ac aberthau wnes i. 23Beth ddywedais i oedd, ‘Gwrandwch ar beth dw i'n ddweud. Bydda i'n Dduw i chi a byddwch chi'n bobl i mi. Dw i eisiau i chi fyw yn union fel dw i'n dweud wrthoch chi, a bydd pethau'n mynd yn dda i chi.’ 24“Ond doedden nhw ddim am wrando na chymryd unrhyw sylw ohono i. Dim ond dilyn y duedd ynddyn nhw i wneud drwg, a mynd yn bellach oddi wrtho i yn lle dod yn nes. 25Ond o'r diwrnod y daeth eich hynafiaid allan o'r Aifft hyd heddiw dw i wedi dal ati i anfon fy ngweision y proffwydi atoch chi, dro ar ôl tro. 26Ond doedd neb yn gwrando arna i nac yn cymryd unrhyw sylw. Roedden nhw'n hollol benstiff – hyd yn oed yn waeth na'u hynafiaid. 27“Dywed hyn i gyd wrthyn nhw, Jeremeia. Ond fyddan nhw ddim yn gwrando arnat ti. Byddi di'n galw arnyn nhw, ond paid disgwyl iddyn nhw ymateb. 28Dywed wrthyn nhw, ‘Mae'r wlad yma wedi gwrthod gwrando ar yr Arglwydd ei Duw, a gwrthod cael ei dysgu. Mae gonestrwydd wedi diflannu! Dydy pobl ddim hyd yn oed yn honni ei ddilyn bellach!’ 29‘Siafiwch eich gwallt, bobl Jerwsalem, a'i daflu i ffwrdd.Canwch gân angladdol ar ben y bryniau.
Mae'r Arglwydd wedi'ch gwrthod, a throi ei gefn
ar y genhedlaeth yma sydd wedi ei ddigio.’”
30“Dw i wedi gwrthod pobl Jwda am eu bod nhw wedi gwneud drwg,” meddai'r Arglwydd. “Maen nhw'n llygru fy nheml i drwy osod eilun-dduwiau ffiaidd ynddi. 31Maen nhw hefyd wedi codi allorau paganaidd yn Toffet ▼

yn Nyffryn Ben-hinnom. Maen nhw'n aberthu eu plant bach yn y tân! Wnes i erioed ddweud wrthyn nhw am wneud y fath beth. Fyddai peth felly byth wedi croesi fy meddwl i! 32“Felly mae'r amser yn dod,” meddai'r Arglwydd, “pan fydd neb yn galw'r lle yn Toffet neu dyffryn Ben-hinnom. ‛Dyffryn Llofruddiaeth‛ fydd enw'r lle. Fydd dim digon o le i gladdu pawb fydd yn cael eu lladd yno. 33Bydd cyrff dynol yn fwyd i adar ac anifeiliaid gwylltion. Fydd yna neb ar ôl i'w dychryn nhw i ffwrdd. 34Dw i'n mynd i roi taw ar sŵn pobl yn chwerthin a joio ar strydoedd Jerwsalem, ac yn mwynhau eu hunain mewn parti priodas. Bydd y wlad yn anialwch diffaith.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
