Galwad i droi'n ôl
1“Dim ond i ti droi yn ôl, o Israel,” meddai'r Arglwydd“Ie, troi yn ôl!
Cael gwared â'r eilun-dduwiau ffiaidd yna o'm golwg i
a stopio crwydro o hyn ymlaen.
2Dweud y gwir, a bod yn onest wrth dyngu llw,
‘Mor sicr â bod yr Arglwydd yn fyw!’
Wedyn bydd y cenhedloedd am iddo eu bendithio nhw,
a byddan nhw'n ymffrostio ynddo.”
3Ie, dyma mae'r Arglwydd yn ei ddweud wrthoch chi bobl Jwda a Jerwsalem: “Rhaid i chi drin y tir caled,
a peidio hau had da yng nghanol drain. a
4Rhoi eich hunain yn llwyr i'r Arglwydd,
newid eich agwedd a chael gwared â phob rhwystr. ▼
▼4:4 Rhoi … rhwystr. Mae'r Hebraeg yma yn defnyddio'r darlun o enwaedu'r galon (gw. Deuteronomium 10:16; 30:6).
Os na wnewch chi, bydda i'n ddig.
Bydda i fel tân yn llosgi a neb yn gallu ei ddiffodd,
o achos yr holl ddrwg dych chi wedi ei wneud.”

Yr Arglwydd: 5“Cyhoeddwch hyn yn Jwda,a dweud wrth bawb yn Jerwsalem:
‘Chwythwch y corn hwrdd ▼
▼4:5 corn hwrdd Hebraeg, “shoffar”
i rybuddio pobl drwy'r wlad i gyd.’Gwaeddwch yn uchel,
‘Dewch, rhaid dianc i'r trefi caerog!’
6Codwch arwydd yn dweud, ‘I Seion!’
Ffowch i le saff! Peidiwch sefyllian!
Dw i ar fin dod â dinistr o gyfeiriad y gogledd –
trychineb ofnadwy!
7Mae llew wedi dod allan o'i ffau!
Mae'r un sy'n dinistrio cenhedloedd ar ei ffordd.
Mae'n dod i ddifetha'r wlad,
a gwneud ei threfi yn adfeilion lle bydd neb yn byw.
8Felly gwisgwch sachliain, a galaru ac udo:
‘Mae'r Arglwydd yn dal wedi digio'n lân hefo ni.’”
9“Y diwrnod hwnnw,” meddai'r Arglwydd, “bydd y brenin a'i swyddogion wedi colli pob hyder. Bydd yr offeiriaid yn syfrdan a'r proffwydi'n methu dweud gair.” 10Fy ymateb i oedd, “O! Feistr, Arglwydd, mae'n rhaid dy fod ti wedi twyllo'r bobl yma'n llwyr, a Jerwsalem hefyd! Roeddet ti wedi addo heddwch i Jerwsalem, ond mae cleddyf yn cyffwrdd ein gyddfau ni!” 11Bryd hynny bydd yr Arglwydd yn dweud wrth y bobl yma ac wrth Jerwsalem, “Bydd gwynt poeth o fryniau'r anialwch yn chwythu ar fy mhobl druan. Nid rhyw wynt ysgafn i nithio'r had a chwythu'r us i ffwrdd fydd e. 12Na, bydd yn wynt llawer rhy gryf i hynny! Dw i fy hun yn mynd i'w barnu nhw.”

13Edrychwch! Mae'r gelyn yn dod fel cymylau'n casglu.Mae sŵn ei gerbydau fel sŵn corwynt,
a'i geffylau yn gyflymach nag eryrod.
“Gwae ni, mae hi ar ben arnon ni!” meddai'r bobl.
14O, Jerwsalem, golcha'r drwg o dy galon
i ti gael dy achub.
Am faint wyt ti'n mynd i ddal gafael
yn dy syniadau dinistriol?
15Mae negeswyr yn dod i gyhoeddi dinistr,
o dref Dan ac o fryniau Effraim. ▼

16Cyhoeddwch i'r gwledydd o'i chwmpas, “Maen nhw yma!”
a dwedwch wrth Jerwsalem,
“Mae'r rhai sy'n ymosod ar ddinasoedd wedi dod o wlad bell,
ac yn bloeddio, ‘I'r gâd!’ yn erbyn trefi Jwda.”
17Maen nhw'n cau amdani o bob cyfeiriad,
fel gwylwyr yn gofalu am gae.
“Ydy, mae hi wedi gwrthryfela yn fy erbyn i,”
meddai'r Arglwydd.
18Ti wedi dod â hyn arnat dy hun,
am y ffordd rwyt wedi byw a'r pethau rwyt wedi eu gwneud.
Bydd dy gosb yn brofiad chwerw!
Bydd fel cleddyf yn treiddio i'r byw!

20Mae un dinistr yn dod ar ôl y llall,
nes bod y wlad i gyd wedi ei difetha.

a'u llenni wedi eu rhwygo mewn chwinciad.
21Am faint mae'n rhaid edrych ar faneri'r gelyn?
Am faint rhaid i'r rhyfela fynd ymlaen?
Yr Arglwydd: 22“Mae fy mhobl yn ffyliaid.
Dŷn nhw ddim yn fy nabod i go iawn.
Maen nhw fel plant heb ddim sens.
Dŷn nhw'n deall dim byd!
Maen nhw'n hen lawiau ar wneud drwg,
ond ddim yn gwybod sut i wneud beth sy'n dda.”

Jeremeia: 23Edrychais ar y ddaear, ac roedd yn anrhefn gwag f.Edrychais i'r awyr, a doedd dim golau!
24Edrychais ar y mynyddoedd, ac roedden nhw'n crynu!
Roedd y bryniau i gyd yn gwegian.
25Edrychais eto – doedd dim pobl yn unman,
ac roedd yr adar i gyd wedi hedfan i ffwrdd.
26Edrychais, ac roedd y tir amaeth wedi troi'n anialwch,
a'r trefi i gyd yn adfeilion.
Yr Arglwydd oedd wedi achosi'r cwbl,
am ei fod wedi digio'n lân hefo ni.
27Ie, dyma mae'r Arglwydd yn ei ddweud: “Bydd y tir i gyd yn destun sioc
ond fydda i ddim yn ei ddinistrio'n llwyr.
28Bydd y ddaear yn galaru,
a'r awyr wedi tywyllu.
Dw i wedi dweud yn glir beth dw i am ei wneud,
a dw i ddim yn bwriadu newid fy meddwl.”
29Mae sŵn y marchogion a'r bwasaethwyr yn dod,
ac mae pawb yn ffoi o'r trefi.
Maen nhw'n cuddio yn y llwyni, ac yn dringo'r clogwyni.
Mae'r trefi'n wag – does neb ar ôl ynddyn nhw!

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
