1Cafodd Jeremeia neges gan yr Arglwydd am bobl Jwda yn ystod y bedwaredd flwyddyn pan oedd Jehoiacim fab Joseia yn frenin ar Jwda ▼▼25:1 y bedwaredd … ar Jwda 605 CC
(oedd hefyd y flwyddyn y cafodd Nebwchadnesar ei wneud yn frenin Babilon). 2Dyma ddwedodd y proffwyd Jeremeia wrth bobl Jwda a'r rhai oedd yn byw yn Jerwsalem: 3“Mae'r Arglwydd wedi bod yn siarad hefo fi ers dau ddeg tair o flynyddoedd – o'r adeg pan oedd Joseia ▼▼25:3 Joseia yn frenin o 640 i 609 CC
fab Amon wedi bod yn frenin am un deg a tair o flynyddoedd hyd heddiw. Dw i wedi dweud wrthoch chi dro ar ôl tro beth oedd ei neges, ond dych chi ddim wedi gwrando. 4Ac mae'r Arglwydd wedi dal ati i anfon ei weision y proffwydi atoch chi. Ond dych chi ddim wedi gwrando na chymryd unrhyw sylw. 5Y neges oedd, ‘Rhaid i bob un ohonoch chi stopio gwneud y pethau drwg dych chi'n eu gwneud, wedyn byddwch chi'n cael aros yn y wlad roddodd yr Arglwydd i chi a'ch hynafiaid am byth bythoedd. 6Stopiwch addoli a gwasanaethu duwiau eraill, a'm gwylltio i drwy blygu i eilunod dych chi eich hunain wedi eu cerfio. Wedyn fydda i'n gwneud dim drwg i chi. 7“‘Ond wnaethoch chi ddim gwrando arna i,’ meddai'r Arglwydd. ‘Dych chi wedi fy ngwylltio i gyda'ch eilunod. Dych chi wedi dod â drwg arnoch chi'ch hunain.’ 8“Felly dyma mae'r Arglwydd holl-bwerus yn ei ddweud: ‘Dych chi ddim wedi gwrando arna i. 9Felly, dyma dw i, yr Arglwydd, yn mynd i'w wneud: Dw i'n mynd i anfon am bobloedd y gogledd, ac am fy ngwas i, Nebwchadnesar brenin Babilon. Dw i'n mynd i'w cael nhw i ymosod ar y wlad yma a'i phobl ac ar y gwledydd o'i chwmpas hefyd. Dw i'n mynd i'w dinistrio nhw'n llwyr. Bydd pethau ofnadwy yn digwydd yma. Fydd pobl ddim yn stopio rhyfeddu at y llanast. 10Bydda i'n rhoi taw ar sŵn pobl yn chwerthin a joio, ac yn mwynhau eu hunain mewn parti priodas. Fydd dim sŵn maen melin yn troi, a dim golau lamp i'w weld yn y tai. 11Bydd y wlad yn anialwch diffaith. A bydd y gwledydd yn gorfod gwasanaethu brenin Babilon am saith deg mlynedd c. 12“‘Ar ddiwedd y saith deg mlynedd bydda i'n cosbi brenin Babilon a'i wlad am y drwg wnaethon nhw. d Bydd gwlad y Babiloniaid yn cael ei dinistrio am byth. 13Bydd popeth wnes i ei fygwth yn digwydd iddi – popeth sydd wedi ei ysgrifennu yn y llyfr yma, sef beth mae Jeremeia wedi ei broffwydo yn erbyn y gwledydd i gyd. 14Bydd brenin a phobl Babilon yn gorfod gwasanaethu brenhinoedd a gwledydd eraill. Bydda i'n talu'n ôl iddyn nhw am beth wnaethon nhw.’” Barn Duw ar Jwda a'r cenhedloedd eraill
15Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, Duw Israel, yn ei ddweud wrtho i: “Cymer y gwpan yma gen i. Mae hi'n llawn dop o win fy llid. Cymer hi, a gwna i'r gwledydd dw i'n dy anfon di atyn nhw yfed ohoni. 16Byddan nhw'n yfed, ac yn stagro yn ôl ac ymlaen. Bydd y rhyfela dw i'n ei anfon i'w cosbi nhw yn eu gyrru nhw'n wallgof.” 17Felly dyma fi'n cymryd y gwpan o law'r Arglwydd, ac yn gwneud i'r holl wledydd ble'r anfonodd fi yfed ohoni: 18Jerwsalem a threfi Jwda, ei brenhinoedd a'i swyddogion. Byddan nhw'n cael eu dinistrio a'u difetha'n llwyr. Bydd pobl yn chwibanu mewn rhyfeddod wrth weld yr holl bethau dychrynllyd fydd yn digwydd, a bydd yn esiampl o wlad wedi ei melltithio. Mae'n dechrau digwydd heddiw!19Yna'r Pharo (brenin yr Aifft) a'i weision a'i swyddogion, pobl yr Aifft i gyd, 20a'r bobl o dras cymysg sy'n byw yno.
Wedyn brenhinoedd gwlad Us, a brenhinoedd trefi'r Philistiaid i gyd: pobl Ashcelon, Gasa, Ecron, a beth sydd ar ôl o Ashdod. ▼

21Wedyn pobl Edom, Moab ac Ammon.
22Brenhinoedd Tyrus a Sidon, a brenhinoedd y trefi eraill ar yr arfordir.
23Pobl Dedan, Tema, Bws, a'r bobl sy'n byw ar ymylon yr anialwch.
24Brenhinoedd Arabia a brenhinoedd y gwahanol lwythau nomadig yn yr anialwch.

Yfwch nes byddwch yn syrthio ac yn methu codi ar eich traed eto, o achos y rhyfel dw i'n ei anfon i'ch cosbi chi.’ 28“Os byddan nhw'n gwrthod cymryd y gwpan gen ti, ac yfed ohoni, dywed wrthyn nhw, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd holl-bwerus yn ei ddweud: “Does gynnoch chi ddim dewis. Bydd rhaid i chi yfed! 29Gwyliwch chi, dw i wedi dechrau cosbi Jerwsalem, fy ninas i fy hun. Os felly, ydych chi'n mynd i osgoi cael eich cosbi? Na! Dw i'n mynd i ddod â rhyfel ar bawb sy'n byw ar y ddaear.” Fi, yr Arglwydd holl-bwerus, sy'n dweud hyn.’ 30Felly, Jeremeia, proffwyda fel hyn yn eu herbyn nhw: ‘Mae'r Arglwydd yn rhuo fel llew oddi uchod,
o'r lle sanctaidd ble mae'n byw.
Mae'n rhuo yn erbyn y bobl mae'n byw yn eu plith.
Bydd yn gweiddi fel un yn sathru'r grawnwin,
wrth gosbi pawb sy'n byw ar wyneb y ddaear.
31Bydd twrw'r frwydr yn atseinio drwy'r byd i gyd.
Mae'r Arglwydd yn cyhuddo'r cenhedloedd,
ac yn mynd i farnu'r ddynoliaeth gyfan.
Bydd pobl ddrwg yn cael eu lladd gan y cleddyf!’”

32Dyma mae'r Arglwydd holl-bwerus yn ei ddweud: “Mae trychineb yn mynd i ddod ar un wlad ar ôl y llall.
Mae gwynt stormus ar fin dod o ben draw'r byd.”
33Bydd y rhai fydd wedi eu lladd gan yr Arglwydd bryd hynny wedi eu gwasgaru ar hyd a lled y byd. Fydd neb yn galaru ar eu hôl nhw, a neb yn casglu'r cyrff i'w claddu. Byddan nhw'n gorwedd fel tail wedi ei wasgaru ar wyneb y tir. 34Dechreuwch udo a chrïo, chi arweinwyr ▼

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
