1“Mae pechod pobl Jwda wedi ei gerfiogyda chun haearn ar lech eu calonnau.
Mae fel arysgrif wedi ei grafu
gyda diemwnt ar y cyrn ar gorneli'r allorau.
2Dydy'r plant yn gwybod am ddim byd
ond am allorau paganaidd a pholion y dduwies Ashera!
Maen nhw wedi eu gosod wrth ymyl
pob coeden ddeiliog ar ben bob bryn,
3ar y mynyddoedd ac yn y caeau.
Bydda i'n rhoi eich cyfoeth a'ch trysorau
yn ysbail i'ch gelynion.
Dyma'r pris fyddwch chi'n ei dalu
am yr holl bechu drwy'r wlad.
4Byddwch chi'n colli gafael yn y wlad rois i'n etifeddiaeth i chi.
Byddwch yn gwasanaethu eich gelynion
mewn gwlad ddieithr.
Mae fy llid yn llosgi fel tân fydd ddim yn diffodd.”
5Dyma mae'r Arglwydd yn ei ddweud: “Melltith ar y rhai sy'n trystio pobl feidrol
a chryfder dynol,
a'r galon wedi troi cefn arna i.
6Byddan nhw'n sych fel prysglwyn ar dir anial,
heb ddim gobaith i'r dyfodol.
Byddan nhw'n aros yn yr anialwch poeth,
mewn tir diffaith lle does neb yn gallu byw.
7Ond mae yna fendith fawr i'r rhai sy'n fy nhrystio i
ac yn rhoi eu hyder ynof fi.
8Byddan nhw'n gryf fel coeden wedi ei phlannu ar lan afon a,
a'i gwreiddiau'n ymwthio i'r dŵr.
Dydy'r gwres crasboeth yn poeni dim arni hi;
mae ei dail yn aros yn wyrdd.
A does dim lle i boeni pan ddaw blwyddyn o sychder;
bydd ei ffrwyth yn dal i dyfu arni.
9Oes rhywun yn deall y galon ddynol?
Mae'n fwy twyllodrus na dim,
a does dim gwella arni.
10Dw i, yr Arglwydd, yn chwilio'r galon
ac yn gwybod beth sydd ar feddyliau pobl.
Dw i'n rhoi i bawb beth mae'n nhw'n ei haeddu
am y ffordd maen nhw wedi ymddwyn.
11Mae pobl sy'n gwneud arian drwy dwyll
fel petrisen yn eistedd ar wyau wnaeth hi mo'i dodwy.
Byddan nhw'n colli'r cwbl yn annisgwyl,
ac yn dangos yn y diwedd mai ffyliaid oedden nhw.”
Jeremeia: 12“Arglwydd, ti sydd ar dy orsedd wych
sy'n uchel o'r dechrau cyntaf:
ti ydy'r lle saff i ni droi!
13Arglwydd, ti ydy gobaith Israel,
a bydd pawb sy'n troi cefn arnat ti
yn cael eu cywilyddio.
Yr Arglwydd Byddan nhw'n cael eu cofrestru ym myd y meirw
am iddyn nhw droi cefn arna i, yr Arglwydd,
y ffynnon o ddŵr glân croyw.”

Ti ydy'r un dw i'n ei foli!
15Gwrando beth maen nhw'n ddweud wrtho i!
‘Beth am y neges yma gest ti gan yr Arglwydd?
Tyrd! Gad i ni ei weld yn digwydd!’
16Gwnes i dy annog i atal y dinistr.
Doedd gen i ddim eisiau gweld
y diwrnod o drwbwl di-droi-nôl yn cyrraedd.
Ti'n gwybod yn iawn beth ddywedais i.
Roedd y cwbl yn agored o dy flaen di.
17Paid dychryn fi;
ti ydy'r lle saff i mi guddio pan mae pethau'n ddrwg arna i.
18Gwna i'r rhai sy'n fy erlid i gywilyddio;
paid codi cywilydd arna i.
Gad iddyn nhw gael eu siomi;
paid siomi fi.
Tyrd â'r dyddiau drwg arnyn nhw,
a dinistria nhw'n llwyr!”

19Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrtho i: “Dos i sefyll wrth Giât y Bobl ble mae brenhinoedd Jwda yn mynd i mewn ac allan o'r ddinas. Yna dos at giatiau eraill y ddinas. 20Dywed wrth y bobl yno: ‘Frenhinoedd Jwda, pobl Jwda, a phawb sy'n byw yn Jerwsalem; pawb sy'n dod trwy'r giatiau yma, gwrandwch ar neges yr Arglwydd. 21Gwyliwch am eich bywydau eich bod chi ddim yn cario pethau i'w gwerthu drwy giatiau Jerwsalem ar y Saboth. 22Peidiwch cario dim allan o'ch tai chwaith, a mynd i weithio ar y Saboth. Dw i eisiau i'r Saboth fod yn ddiwrnod sbesial, fel y dwedais i wrth eich hynafiaid. 23Ond wnaethon nhw ddim gwrando na chymryd unrhyw sylw. Roedden nhw'n hollol benstiff, ac yn gwrthod dysgu gwers.’ 24“‘Ond os gwnewch chi wrando arna i,’ meddai'r Arglwydd, ‘(peidio cario pethau i'w gwerthu drwy giatiau Jerwsalem ar Saboth, cadw'r Saboth yn ddiwrnod sbesial, a pheidio gweithio ar y diwrnod hwnnw), 25bydd brenhinoedd, disgynyddion Dafydd, yn dal i ddod drwy'r giatiau yma yn eu cerbydau ac ar geffylau. Bydd eu swyddogion yn dod gyda nhw, a phobl Jwda a Jerwsalem hefyd. Bydd pobl yn byw yn y ddinas yma am byth. 26Bydd pobl yn dod yma o drefi Jwda a'r ardal o gwmpas Jerwsalem, o dir llwyth Benjamin, o'r iseldir yn y gorllewin, o'r bryniau ac o'r Negef yn y de. Byddan nhw'n dod i deml yr Arglwydd gydag offrymau i'w llosgi ac aberthau, offrymau o rawn ac arogldarth, ac offrymau diolch. 27Ond rhaid i chi wrando arna i, a chadw'r Saboth yn ddiwrnod sbesial, a pheidio cario pethau i'w gwerthu drwy giatiau Jerwsalem ar y Saboth. Os wnewch chi ddim gwrando bydda i'n rhoi giatiau Jerwsalem ar dân. Fydd y tân ddim yn diffodd, a bydd plastai Jerwsalem i gyd yn cael eu llosgi'n ulw.’”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
