Isaiah 43
Yr Arglwydd yn achub ei bobl
1Nawr, dyma mae'r Arglwydd yn ei ddweud – yr un wnaeth dy greu di, Jacob, a rhoi siâp i ti, Israel: “Paid bod ag ofn! Dw i wedi dy ollwng di'n rhydd!Dw i wedi dy alw wrth dy enw! Fi piau ti!
2Pan fyddi di'n mynd trwy lifogydd, bydda i gyda ti;
neu drwy afonydd, fyddan nhw ddim yn dy gario di i ffwrdd.
Wrth i ti gerdded trwy dân, fyddi di'n cael dim niwed;
fydd y fflamau ddim yn dy losgi di.
3Achos fi ydy'r Arglwydd dy Dduw di,
Un Sanctaidd Israel, dy Achubwr di!
Rhoddais yr Aifft yn dâl amdanat ti,
Cwsh ▼
▼43:3 Cwsh Teyrnas yn Nwyrain Affrica oedd i'r de o wlad yr Aifft, sef Gogledd Swdan heddiw.
a Seba yn dy le di.4Dw i'n dy drysori di, ac yn dy garu di,
achos ti'n werthfawr yn fy ngolwg i.
Dw i'n barod i roi'r ddynoliaeth yn gyfnewid amdanat ti,
a'r bobloedd yn dy le di.
5Paid bod ag ofn, achos dw i gyda ti.
Bydda i'n dod â'th ddisgynyddion di yn ôl o'r dwyrain,
ac yn dy gasglu di o'r gorllewin.
6Bydda i'n dweud wrth y gogledd, ‘Gollwng nhw!’
ac wrth y de, ‘Paid dal neb yn ôl!’
Tyrd â'm meibion i o wledydd pell,
a'm merched o ben draw'r byd –
7pawb sydd â'm henw i arnyn nhw,
ac wedi eu creu i ddangos fy ysblander i.
Ie, fi wnaeth eu siapio a'u gwneud nhw.
Pobl Israel yn dystion i Dduw
8Dewch â nhw allan!Y rhai sy'n ddall er bod ganddyn nhw lygaid,
ac yn fyddar er bod ganddyn nhw glustiau.
9Mae'r cenhedloedd i gyd wedi dod at ei gilydd,
a gwledydd y byd wedi ymgasglu.
Pa un o'u duwiau nhw ddwedodd am hyn,
a dweud ymlaen llaw am beth sydd wedi digwydd?
Gadewch iddyn nhw alw tystion i brofi eu hunain,
er mwyn i bobl eu clywed, a dweud, ‘Mae'n wir!’”
10“Chi ydy fy nhystion i,”
—meddai'r Arglwydd—
“a'r gwas dw i wedi ei ddewis
i wybod ac i gadarnhau
eich bod chi'n deall mai fi ydy e.
Doedd dim duw o'm blaen i,
a fydd yna ddim un ar fy ôl i.
11Fi, ie fi ydy'r unig Arglwydd,
a does neb ond fi yn gallu achub.
12Fi wnaeth ddweud ymlaen llaw,
fi wnaeth achub, fi wnaeth ei gyhoeddi,
dim rhyw dduw dieithr –
a dych chi'n dystion o'r peth.”
—meddai'r Arglwydd—
“Fi ydy'r unig Dduw,
13Fi ydy e o'r dechrau cyntaf!
Does neb yn gallu cipio rhywun oddi arna i.
Pan dw i'n gwneud rhywbeth,
does neb yn gallu ei ddadwneud.”
Dianc o Babilon
14Dyma mae'r Arglwydd yn ei ddweud – yr un sy'n dy ryddhau, Un Sanctaidd Israel: “Dw i'n mynd i'w anfon e i Babilon er dy fwyn di.Bydda i'n bwrw ei barrau haearn i lawr,
a throi bloeddio llawen y Babiloniaid yn alar.
15Fi ydy'ch Un Sanctaidd chi, yr Arglwydd,
eich Brenin chi, yr un greodd Israel.”
16Dyma mae'r Arglwydd yn ei ddweud – yr un agorodd ffordd drwy'r môr, a llwybr drwy'r dyfroedd mawr; 17yr un ddinistriodd gerbydau a cheffylau, a'r fyddin ddewr i gyd (Maen nhw'n gorwedd gyda'i gilydd, a fyddan nhw ddim yn codi. Cawson nhw eu diffodd, fel diffodd cannwyll): 18“Peidiwch hel atgofion am y gorffennol,
a dim ond meddwl am beth ddigwyddodd o'r blaen!
19Edrychwch! Dw i'n gwneud rhywbeth newydd!
Mae ar fin digwydd!
Ydych chi ddim yn ei weld?
Dw i'n mynd i agor ffordd drwy'r anialwch,
a rhoi afonydd yn y tir diffaith.
20Bydd anifeiliaid gwylltion yn diolch i mi,
y siacaliaid a'r estrys,
am fy mod wedi rhoi dŵr yn yr anialwch,
ac afonydd mewn tir diffaith,
i roi diod i'r bobl dw i wedi eu dewis –
21y bobl wnes i eu llunio i mi fy hun,
iddyn nhw fy moli i.”
Pechod Israel
22“Ond dwyt ti ddim wedi galw arna i, Jacob;rwyt ti wedi blino arna i, Israel.
23Dwyt ti ddim wedi dod â dafad yn offrwm i'w losgi i mi,
nac wedi fy anrhydeddu gydag aberthau.
Dw i ddim wedi pwyso arnat ti am offrwm o rawn,
na dy boeni di am yr arogldarth o thus.
24Dwyt ti ddim wedi prynu sbeisiau pêr i mi
na'm llenwi gyda brasder dy aberthau.
Yn lle hynny, rwyt ti wedi rhoi baich dy bechodau arna i,
a'm blino gyda dy ddrygioni.
25Fi, ie, fi – er fy mwyn fy hun –
ydy'r un sy'n dileu dy wrthryfel di,
ac yn anghofio am dy bechodau di.
26Atgoffa fi. Gad i ni drafod gyda'n gilydd.
Gad i mi glywed dy ochr di o'r stori;
ceisia di brofi dy fod yn ddieuog!
27Pechodd dy dad cyntaf yn fy erbyn i,
wedyn cododd dy arweinwyr yn fy erbyn i.
28Felly dyma fi'n halogi arweinwyr y cysegr,
a gadael i Jacob gael ei alltudio
ac i Israel fod yn destun sbort.”
