Yr Arglwydd yn helpu Israel
1Byddwch dawel a gwrando, ynysoedd;dw i am i'r bobloedd gael nerth newydd.
Boed iddyn nhw nesáu i ddweud eu dweud.
Gadewch i ni ddod at ein gilydd yn y llys barn.
2Pwy sydd wedi codi'r un o'r dwyrain? ▼
▼41:2 un o'r dwyrain Cyrus, Ymerawdwr Persia (gw. 45:1).
Pwy mae Cyfiawnder yn ei alw i'w ddilyn?
Mae'n rhoi gwledydd iddo eu concro,
ac i fwrw eu brenhinoedd i lawr.
Mae ei gleddyf yn eu gwneud fel llwch,
a'i fwa yn eu gyrru ar chwâl fel us.
3Mae'n mynd ar eu holau,
ac yn pasio heibio'n ddianaf;
dydy ei draed ddim yn cyffwrdd y llawr!
4Pwy sydd wedi gwneud hyn i gyd?
Pwy alwodd y cenedlaethau o'r dechrau? –
Fi, yr Arglwydd, oedd yno ar y dechrau
a bydda i yno yn y diwedd hefyd. Fi ydy e!
5Mae'r ynysoedd yn gweld, ac maen nhw'n ofni,
mae pob cwr o'r ddaear yn crynu.
Dyma nhw'n dod, maen nhw'n agos!
6Maen nhw'n helpu ei gilydd,
ac mae un yn annog y llall, “Bydd yn ddewr!”
7Mae'r saer coed yn annog y gof aur,
a'r un sy'n bwrw gyda'r morthwyl
yn annog yr un sy'n taro'r einion.
Mae'n canmol y gwaith sodro, “Mae'n dda!”
ac yna'n ei hoelio'n saff, a dweud
“Fydd hwnna ddim yn symud!”
8Ond Israel, ti ydy fy ngwas i, b
Jacob, ti dw i wedi ei ddewis –
disgynyddion Abraham, fy ffrind i.
9Des i â ti yma o bell,
a'th alw o ben draw'r byd;
a dweud wrthot ti: “Ti ydy fy ngwas i.”
Dw i wedi dy ddewis di!
Dw i ddim wedi troi cefn arnat ti!
10Paid bod ag ofn, achos dw i gyda ti. c
Paid dychryn – fi ydy dy Dduw di!
Dw i'n dy nerthu di ac yn dy helpu di,
Dw i'n dy gynnal di ac yn dy achub di hefo fy llaw dde.
11Bydd pawb sy'n codi yn dy erbyn di
yn cael eu cywilyddio a'i drysu.
Bydd y rhai sy'n ymladd yn dy erbyn di
yn diflannu ac yn marw.
12Byddi'n edrych am y rhai sy'n ymosod arnat ti
ac yn methu dod o hyd iddyn nhw.
Bydd y rhai sy'n rhyfela yn dy erbyn di
yn diflannu ac yn peidio â bod.
13Fi, yr Arglwydd, ydy dy Dduw di,
yn rhoi cryfder i dy law dde di,
ac yn dweud wrthot ti: “Paid bod ag ofn.
Bydda i'n dy helpu di.”
14Paid bod ag ofn, y pryf Jacob,
y lindys bach Israel –
Bydda i'n dy helpu di!
—meddai'r Arglwydd—
Fi sy'n dy ryddhau di, sef Un Sanctaidd Israel.
15Bydda i'n dy wneud di yn llusg dyrnu –
un newydd, hefo llawer iawn o ddannedd.
Byddi'n dyrnu mynyddoedd a'u malu
ac yn gwneud bryniau fel us.
16Byddi'n eu nithio nhw,
a bydd gwynt stormus yn eu chwythu i ffwrdd.
Bydd corwynt yn eu gyrru ar chwâl.
Ond byddi di yn llawenhau yn yr Arglwydd,
Ac yn canu mawl i Un Sanctaidd Israel.
17Ond am y bobl dlawd ac anghenus
sy'n chwilio am ddŵr ac yn methu cael dim;
ac sydd bron tagu gan syched:
bydda i, yr Arglwydd, yn eu hateb nhw;
fydda i, Duw Israel, ddim yn eu gadael nhw.
18Bydda i'n gwneud i nentydd lifo ar y bryniau anial,
ac yn agor ffynhonnau yn y dyffrynnoedd.
Bydda i'n troi'r anialwch yn byllau dŵr,
a'r tir sych yn ffynhonnau.
19Bydda i'n plannu coed cedrwydd yno,
coed acasia, myrtwydd, ac olewydd;
bydda i'n gosod coed cypres,
coed llwyfen a choed pinwydd hefyd –
20er mwyn i bobl weld a gwybod,
ystyried a sylweddoli,
mai'r Arglwydd sydd wedi gwneud hyn,
ac mai Un Sanctaidd Israel sydd wedi peri iddo ddigwydd.

21“Cyflwynwch eich achos,” meddai'r Arglwydd.“Sut ydych chi am bledio?”, meddai Brenin Jacob.
22“Dewch â'ch duwiau yma i ddweud wrthon ni
beth sy'n mynd i ddigwydd.
Beth am ddweud wrthon ni beth broffwydon nhw yn y gorffennol? –
i ni allu penderfynu wrth weld y canlyniadau.
Neu ddweud beth sy'n mynd i ddigwydd yn y dyfodol?
23Dwedwch wrthon ni beth sydd i ddod,
er mwyn i ni gael gwybod eich bod chi'n dduwiau!
Gwnewch rywbeth – da neu ddrwg –
fydd yn ein rhyfeddu ni!
24Ond y gwir ydy, dych chi ddim yn bod;
allwch chi wneud dim byd o gwbl!
Mae rhywun sy'n dewis eich addoli chi yn ffiaidd!
25Fi wnaeth godi'r un o'r gogledd, ac mae wedi dod;
yr un o'r dwyrain sy'n galw ar fy enw i.
Mae wedi sathru arweinwyr fel sathru mwd,
neu fel mae crochenydd yn sathru clai.
26Pwy arall ddwedodd am hyn wrthon ni o'r dechrau?
Pwy wnaeth ddweud am y peth ymlaen llaw,
i ni allu dweud, ‘Roedd e'n iawn!’?
Wnaeth neb sôn am y peth – ddwedodd neb ddim.
Na, does neb wedi'ch clywed chi'n dweud gair!
27Fi wnaeth ddweud gyntaf wrth Seion:
‘Edrychwch! Maen nhw'n dod!’
Fi wnaeth anfon negesydd gyda newyddion da i Jerwsalem!
28Dw i'n edrych, a does yr un o'r rhain
yn gallu rhoi cyngor nac ateb cwestiwn gen i.
29Y gwir ydy, mae'n nhw'n afreal –
dŷn nhw'n gallu gwneud dim byd o gwbl!

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
