1“Gwae chi blant ystyfnig!” meddai'r Arglwydd –“yn gwneud cynlluniau sy'n groes i be dw i eisiau,
a ffurfio cynghreiriau wnes i mo'i hysbrydoli!
A'r canlyniad? –
pentyrru un pechod ar y llall!
2Rhuthro i lawr i'r Aifft heb ofyn i mi,
a gofyn i'r Pharo eu hamddiffyn
a'u cuddio dan gysgod yr Aifft.
3Ond bydd cael y Pharo i amddiffyn yn codi cywilydd,
a bydd cuddio dan gysgod yr Aifft yn siom mawr,
4er bod ganddo swyddogion yn Soan
a llysgenhadon mor bell â Chanes. ▼

5Cânt eu cywilyddio'n llwyr
am fod yr Aifft yn dda i ddim iddyn nhw –
dim help o gwbl!
Fyddan nhw'n elwa dim,
ond yn profi siom a chywilydd.”
6Neges am "Anifeiliaid y Negef": Yn nhir trafferthion a chaledi,
gwlad y llewes a'r llew cry,
y neidr a'r wiber wibiog,
maen nhw'n cario eu cyfoeth ar gefn asynnod,
a'u trysorau ar gefn camelod,
ar ran pobl sy'n dda i ddim.
7Mae'r Aifft yn ddiwerth!
Dŷn nhw ddim help o gwbl!
Felly, dw i'n ei galw hi,
“Rahab gysglyd.”

8Tyrd nawr,Ysgrifenna hi ar lechen
a'i chofnodi mewn sgrôl,
i fod yn dystiolaeth barhaol
i'r dyfodol.
9Achos maen nhw'n bobl anufudd,
ac yn blant sy'n twyllo –
plant sy'n gwrthod gwrando
ar beth mae'r Arglwydd yn ei ddysgu.
10Pobl sy'n dweud wrth y rhai sy'n cael gweledigaethau,
“Peidiwch â cheisio gweledigaeth,”
ac wrth y proffwydi, “Peidiwch proffwydo
a dweud wrthon ni beth sy'n iawn.
Dwedwch bethau neis,
er ei fod yn gelwydd!
11Trowch o'r ffordd!
Ewch oddi ar y llwybr iawn!
Stopiwch ein hatgoffa ni
am Un Sanctaidd Israel!”
12Felly, dyma mae Un Sanctaidd Israel yn ei ddweud: Am eich bod wedi gwrthod y neges yma,
a dewis rhoi'ch ffydd mewn gormeswr twyllodrus –
13bydd y bai yma fel wal uchel yn bochio,
ac yn sydyn, mewn chwinciad, mae'n syrthio.
14Bydd yn torri'n ddarnau,
fel jwg pridd yn cael ei falu'n deilchion –
bydd wedi darfod.
Fydd dim un darn yn ddigon o faint
i godi marwor o badell dân,
neu wagio dŵr o bwll.
15Dyma mae'r Meistr, yr Arglwydd, Un Sanctaidd Israel, yn ei ddweud: “Os trowch yn ôl a trystio cewch eich achub;
Wrth aros yn llonydd a chredu y cewch fuddugoliaeth.”
Ond dych chi ddim yn fodlon gwneud hynny.
16“Na,” meddech chi.
“Gadewch i ni ddianc ar gefn meirch!” –
a dyna wnewch chi.
“Gadewch i ni farchogaeth yn gyflym!” –
ond bydd y rhai sydd ar eich ôl yn gyflymach!
17Bydd un gelyn yn bygwth a mil yn dianc b;
pump yn bygwth a pawb yn dianc.
Bydd cyn lleied ar ôl byddan nhw fel
polyn fflag ar ben bryn,
neu faner ar ben mynydd.
Duw eisiau bendithio ei bobl
18Ond mae'r Arglwydd wir eisiau bod yn garedig atoch chi;bydd yn siŵr o godi i faddau i chi.
Achos mae'r Arglwydd yn Dduw cyfiawn;
ac mae'r rhai sy'n disgwyl amdano yn cael bendith fawr!
19Wir i chi bobl Seion – chi sy'n byw yn Jerwsalem – fyddwch chi ddim yn wylo wedyn. Bydd e'n garedig atoch chi pan fyddwch chi'n galw. Bydd e'n ateb yr eiliad mae'n eich clywed chi. 20Er bod y Meistr wedi rhoi helynt i chi'n fwyd, a dioddefaint yn ddŵr, fydd y Duw sy'n eich tywys ddim yn cuddio mwyach, byddwch yn ei weld yn eich arwain. 21Wrth wyro i'r dde neu droi i'r chwith, byddwch yn clywed llais y tu ôl i chi'n dweud: “Dyma'r ffordd; ewch y ffordd yma!” 22Byddwch yn ffieiddio'r delwau wedi eu gorchuddio ag arian, a'r delwau metel gydag aur yn eu gorchuddio. Byddwch yn eu taflu i ffwrdd fel cadach misglwyf, ac yn dweud “Budreddi!” 23Bydd e'n rhoi glaw i'r had rwyt wedi ei hau yn y pridd, a bydd y tir yn rhoi cnwd da, cyfoethog. Bydd digonedd o borfa i dy anifeiliaid bryd hynny, 24a bydd yr ychen a'r asynnod sy'n gweithio ar y tir yn cael eu bwydo gyda'r ebran gorau, wedi ei nithio â fforch a rhaw. 25Bydd nentydd a ffrydiau o ddŵr yn llifo ar bob mynydd a bryn uchel – ar ddiwrnod y lladdfa fawr pan fydd y tyrau amddiffynnol yn syrthio. 26Bydd y lleuad yn disgleirio fel yr haul, a bydd yr haul yn disgleirio saith gwaith cryfach nag arfer (fel golau saith diwrnod mewn un!) ar y diwrnod pan fydd yr Arglwydd yn rhwymo briwiau ei bobl, ac yn iacháu'r anafiadau gawson nhw pan darodd e nhw.

27Edrychwch! Mae'r Arglwydd ei hunyn dod o bell,
yn wyllt gynddeiriog,
yn corddi o'i fewn.
Mae'n siarad yn ddig,
a'i eiriau fel tân yn difa.
28Mae ei dymer fel llifogydd gwyllt
yn cyrraedd at y gwddf.
Bydd yn ysgwyd y cenhedloedd
mewn gogr i'w dinistrio,
ac yn rhoi ffrwyn yng ngheg pobloedd
i'w harwain ar gyfeiliorn.
29Ond byddwch chi'n canu,
fel petai'n noson i ddathlu gŵyl.
Byddwch yn llawen ac yn dawnsio i gyfeiliant pib
wrth fynd i fynydd yr Arglwydd, Craig Israel.
30Bydd yr Arglwydd yn bloeddio'n uchel,
a bydd ei fraich gref yn dod i lawr
ac yn eu taro'n wyllt gynddeiriog,
fel fflamau tân yn difa,
neu gorwynt, storm a chenllysg.
31Bydd llais yr Arglwydd yn chwalu Asyria,
sef y wialen ddefnyddiodd i daro.
32Bydd yn eu waldio gyda'r pastwn ddewisodd
ac yn eu curo i gyfeiliant drymiau a thelynau,
pan fydd yn mynd allan i ryfel yn eu herbyn.
33Mae'r goelcerth angladdol wedi ei pharatoi cyn hyn;
mae'n barod ar gyfer eu brenin.
Mae'r pwll tân yn ddwfn ac yn llydan,
ac mae digon o goed i'w tanio.
Bydd anadl yr Arglwydd
fel llif lafa yn dod i'w llosgi.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
