Addoliad yn y Babell ddaearol
1Roedd gan yr ymrwymiad cyntaf reolau ar gyfer yr addoliad, a chysegr yn ganolfan i'r addoliad ar y ddaear. 2Roedd dwy ystafell yn y babell. Yn yr ystafell allanol roedd y ganhwyllbren a hefyd y bwrdd gyda'r bara wedi ei gysegru arno – dyma oedd yn cael ei alw ‛Y Lle Sanctaidd‛. a 3Yna roedd llen, ac ystafell arall y tu ôl iddi, sef ‛Y Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd‛. b 4Yn yr ystafell fewnol roedd allor yr arogldarth ac arch yr ymrwymiad (cist bren oedd wedi ei gorchuddio ag aur). Yn y gist roedd jar aur yn dal peth o'r manna o'r anialwch, hefyd ffon Aaron (sef yr un oedd wedi blaguro), a'r ddwy lechen roedd Duw wedi ysgrifennu'r Deg Gorchymyn arnyn nhw. c 5Yna uwchben y gist roedd dau greadur hardd ▼▼9:5 greadur hardd: Groeg, “ceriwbiaid”
wedi eu cerfio, a'u hadenydd yn cysgodi dros y caead – sef y man ble roedd Duw yn maddau pechodau. e Ond does dim pwynt dechrau trafod hyn i gyd yn fanwl yma. 6Gyda popeth wedi ei osod yn ei le, roedd yr offeiriaid yn mynd i mewn i'r ystafell allanol yn rheolaidd i wneud eu gwaith. f 7Ond dim ond yr archoffeiriad oedd yn mynd i mewn i'r ystafell fewnol, a hynny unwaith y flwyddyn yn unig. Ac roedd rhaid iddo fynd â gwaed gydag e, i'w gyflwyno i Dduw dros ei bechodau ei hun a hefyd y pechodau hynny roedd pobl wedi eu cyflawni heb sylweddoli eu bod nhw'n pechu. g 8Mae'r Ysbryd Glân yn dangos i ni drwy hyn bod hi ddim yn bosib mynd i mewn i'r Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd (sef yr un nefol) tra roedd y babell gyntaf, a'r drefn mae'n ei chynrychioli, yn dal i sefyll. 9Mae'n ddarlun sy'n dangos beth sy'n bwysig heddiw. Doedd y rhoddion a'r aberthau oedd yn cael eu cyflwyno dan yr hen drefn ddim yn gallu rhoi cydwybod glir i'r addolwr. 10Dyn nhw ddim ond yn rheolau ynglŷn â gwahanol fathau o fwyd a diod a defodau golchi – pethau oedd ond yn berthnasol nes i'r drefn newydd gyrraedd. 11Ond yna daeth y Meseia fel Archoffeiriad, a rhoi i ni'r holl bethau da dŷn ni eisoes wedi eu profi. Mae e wedi mynd drwy'r babell go iawn, sef yr un berffaith na chafodd ei gwneud gan bobl ac sydd ddim yn perthyn i'r byd hwn. 12Aeth i mewn un waith ac am byth i'r Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd sydd yn y nefoedd. Aeth e ddim gyda gwaed geifr a lloi – aeth â'i waed ei hun, er mwyn i ni gael ein gollwng yn rhydd am byth. 13Roedd gwaed geifr a theirw yn cael ei daenellu, a lludw'r heffer yn cael ei wasgaru, er mwyn gwneud y bobl oedd yn aflan yn lân yn seremonïol. h 14Ond mae gwaed y Meseia yn cyflawni llawer iawn mwy – mae'n glanhau'r gydwybod o'r pethau sy'n arwain i farwolaeth. Felly gallwn ni wasanaethu'r Duw byw! Mae'r Meseia wedi cyflwyno ei hun yn aberth perffaith i Dduw drwy nerth yr Ysbryd tragwyddol. 15Dyna pam mai fe ydy'r canolwr sy'n selio'r ymrwymiad newydd. Buodd farw i dalu'r pris i ollwng pobl yn rhydd o ganlyniadau'r pechodau gafodd eu cyflawni dan y drefn gyntaf – er mwyn i'r rhai sydd wedi eu galw dderbyn yr holl fendithion tragwyddol mae wedi eu haddo iddyn nhw. 16Os ydy rhywun wedi gwneud ewyllys, mae'n rhaid profi fod y person hwnnw wedi marw cyn i neb gael dim. 17Dydy ewyllys ddim yn cael ei gweithredu nes i'r un wnaeth yr ewyllys farw – dydy'r eiddo ddim yn cael ei rannu pan mae e'n dal yn fyw! 18Dyna pam roedd angen gwaed i hyd yn oed y drefn gyntaf gael ei gweithredu. 19Ar ôl i Moses ddweud wrth y bobl beth oedd pob un o orchmynion Cyfraith Duw, defnyddiodd frigau isop wedi eu rhwymo gyda gwlân ysgarlad i daenellu dŵr a gwaed lloi a geifr ar y sgrôl o'r Gyfraith ac ar y bobl. 20“Mae'r gwaed yma yn cadarnhau'r ymrwymiad mae Duw wedi ei wneud i chi ei gadw,” i meddai wrthyn nhw. 21Wedyn taenellodd y gwaed yr un fath ar y babell ac ar bopeth oedd yn cael ei ddefnyddio yn y seremonïau. j 22I ddweud y gwir, mae Cyfraith Moses yn dweud fod bron popeth i gael ei buro trwy gael ei daenellu â gwaed, a bod maddeuant ddim yn bosib heb i waed gael ei dywallt. k 23Roedd rhaid i'r pethau hynny i gyd gael eu puro gan waed yr aberthau. Ond dim ond copïau o'r pethau nefol ydyn nhw, ac mae angen aberthau gwell nag anifeiliaid i buro'r rheiny. 24Aeth y Meseia i mewn i'r nefoedd ei hun, lle mae'n ymddangos o flaen Duw ar ein rhan ni. Dim i'r cysegr wedi ei godi gan bobl aeth e – gan fod hwnnw'n ddim byd ond copi o'r un nefol go iawn. 25A wnaeth e ddim mynd i mewn i'r nefoedd lawer gwaith i offrymu ei hun (fel yr archoffeiriaid eraill oedd yn gorfod mynd â gwaed anifail i mewn i'r Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd flwyddyn ar ôl blwyddyn). 26Petai'n rhaid iddo wneud hynny, byddai wedi gorfod marw lawer gwaith ers i'r byd gael ei greu! Na! daeth y Meseia un waith ac am byth, yn agos at ddiwedd yr oesoedd, i ddelio gyda phechod drwy ei aberthu ei hun. 27Yn union fel mae pawb yn mynd i farw un waith, a wynebu barn ar ôl hynny, 28buodd y Meseia farw un waith yn aberth, a chario pechodau llawer iawn o bobl l iddyn nhw gael eu maddau. A bydd yn dod yn ôl yr ail waith, dim i ddelio gyda phechod y tro hwn, ond i achub pawb sy'n disgwyl yn frwd amdano.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
