yn frenin Persia, dyma Esra yn symud i Jerwsalem o Babilon. , dyma Esra yn arwain rhai o bobl Israel yn ôl i Jerwsalem (gan gynnwys rhai o'r offeiriaid, Lefiaid, cantorion, gofalwyr y giatiau, a gweision y deml). 8Cyrhaeddodd Jerwsalem yn y pumed mis o'r flwyddyn honno. 9Roedd wedi trefnu i ddechrau'r daith ar ddiwrnod cynta'r flwyddyn ▼▼7:9 flwyddyn Hebraeg, “mis cyntaf”, sef Abib (sydd hefyd yn cael ei alw yn Nisan). Mis cyntaf y calendr Hebreig sy'n rhedeg o tua canol Mawrth i ganol Ebrill.

11Dyma gopi o'r llythyr roddodd y Brenin Artaxerxes i Esra yr offeiriad oedd yn arbenigwr yn y Gyfraith (sef gorchmynion yr Arglwydd a'i ganllawiau i Israel): 12 ▼▼ 7:12 Mae Esra 7:12-26 wedi ei ysgrifennu yn yr iaith Aramaeg. Aramaeg oedd iaith weinyddol Ymerodraeth Persia.

13Rwyf wedi rhoi gorchymyn yn dweud fod unrhyw un o bobl Israel sy'n byw yn y deyrnas, ac eisiau mynd gyda ti i Jerwsalem i gael gwneud hynny – hyd yn oed offeiriaid a Lefiaid. 14Mae'r brenin, a'i saith cynghorwr, yn dy awdurdodi di i gynnal ymchwiliad i weld os ydy cyfraith dy Dduw yn cael ei chadw.
15Rwyt hefyd i fynd ag arian ac aur gyda ti. Mae'r brenin a'i gynghorwyr am roi offrwm gwirfoddol i Dduw Israel sy'n byw yn Jerwsalem. 16Hefyd cei fynd a'r holl arian a'r aur fyddi wedi llwyddo i'w gasglu gan dy bobl dy hun a'r offeiriaid sy'n byw yma yn nhalaith Babilon, ac sydd eisiau cyfrannu at deml eu Duw yn Jerwsalem. 17Mae'r arian yma i'w ddefnyddio i brynu teirw, hyrddod, ŵyn, a'r offrymau o rawn a diod sy'n mynd gyda nhw. Dos â nhw at allor teml dy Dduw yn Jerwsalem. 18Wedyn gelli ddefnyddio unrhyw arian ac aur sy'n weddill i wneud beth bynnag wyt ti a dy gyd-offeiriaid yn ei feddwl sydd orau – beth bynnag wyt ti'n feddwl mae dy Dduw eisiau. 19Dos â'r llestri sydd wedi eu rhoi i ti ar gyfer gwasanaeth y deml, a'u rhoi nhw i dy Dduw yn Jerwsalem. 20Ac os oes rhywbeth arall sydd ei angen ar gyfer y deml, gelli gymryd yr arian i dalu amdano o'r trysordy brenhinol.
21Dw i, y Brenin Artaxerxes, yn gorchymyn penaethiaid trysordai Traws-Ewffrates i roi i Esra'r offeiriad (yr arbenigwr yng Nghyfraith Duw'r nefoedd) beth bynnag mae'n gofyn amdano. 22Gallwch roi iddo hyd at dair tunnell a hanner o arian, 10 tunnell o wenith, 2,000 litr o win, 2,000 litr o olew olewydd, a faint bynnag o halen mae'n gofyn amdano. 23Dylid rhoi i'r deml, beth bynnag mae Duw'r nefoedd eisiau. Dw i ddim eisiau iddo ddigio gydag Ymerodraeth y brenin a'i feibion. 24Hefyd, dw i eisiau i chi ddeall fod gynnoch chi ddim awdurdod i godi trethi na thollau o unrhyw fath ar yr offeiriaid, y Lefiaid, y cerddorion, y porthorion, gweision y deml nac unrhyw un arall sy'n gofalu am deml y Duw yma.
25Yna ti, Esra. Defnyddia'r ddoethineb mae dy Dduw wedi ei rhoi i ti i ddewis barnwyr a swyddogion llys. Wedyn byddan nhw'n gallu delio gydag achosion y bobl hynny yn rhanbarth Traws-Ewffrates sy'n gyfarwydd â chyfraith dy Dduw; a dylid hyfforddi'r rhai hynny sydd ddim yn gwybod y Gyfraith. 26Bydd unrhyw un sy'n torri cyfraith dy Dduw a chyfreithiau'r brenin yn cael eu cosbi gyda'r ddedfryd briodol – cael eu dienyddio, cael eu halltudio, colli eu heiddo neu gael eu carcharu.”

27Bendith ar yr Arglwydd, Duw ein hynafiaid, sydd wedi gwneud i'r brenin fod eisiau cefnogi'r deml yn Jerwsalem! 28Mae wedi peri i'r brenin, ei gynghorwyr, a'i swyddogion pwysig eraill, fod mor garedig tuag ata i. Roeddwn i'n teimlo'n fwy a mwy hyderus wrth weld fod llaw yr Arglwydd arna i. A dyma fi'n casglu nifer o arweinwyr pobl Israel i fynd i Jerwsalem gyda mi.

It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
