Eseciel yn gweld ysblander yr Arglwydd
1Pan oeddwn i'n dri deg oed, roeddwn i'n byw wrth Gamlas Cebar yn Babilon gyda'r bobl oedd wedi cael eu caethgludo yno o Jwda. Ar y pumed diwrnod o'r pedwerydd mis ▼▼Gorffennaf 31, 593 CC mae'n debyg.
roedd fel petai'r nefoedd wedi agor, a Duw yn rhoi gweledigaethau i mi. 2(Roedd hyn bum mlynedd ar ôl i'r brenin Jehoiachin gael ei gymryd yn gaeth i Babilon). 3Offeiriad ydw i, Eseciel fab Bwsi, a dyma'r Arglwydd yn rhoi neges i mi pan oeddwn i wrth Gamlas Cebar yng ngwlad Babilon. Roedd yr Arglwydd wedi fy nghyffwrdd i yno! 4Wrth i mi edrych, ron i'n gweld storm yn dod o'r gogledd. Roedd cwmwl anferth, a mellt yn fflachio, a golau llachar o'i gwmpas. Roedd ei ganol yn llachar fel tân mewn ffwrnais fetel. 5Yna o'i ganol dyma bedwar ffigwr yn dod i'r golwg. Roedden nhw'n edrych fel creaduriaid byw. Roedden nhw yr un siâp a phobl, 6ond roedd gan bob un bedwar wyneb a phedair adain. 7Roedden nhw'n sefyll i fyny'n syth fel pobl, ond carnau llo oedd eu traed. Ac roedden nhw'n gloywi fel pres wedi ei sgleinio. 8Roedd ganddyn nhw freichiau a dwylo dynol o dan eu hadenydd, ac roedd eu hadenydd nhw'n cyffwrdd ei gilydd. 9Am bod ganddyn nhw bedwar wyneb doedden nhw ddim yn troi, dim ond symud yn syth yn eu blaenau i ba gyfeiriad bynnag roedden nhw'n mynd. 10Roedd gan bob un ohonyn nhw un wyneb dynol, wedyn wyneb llew ar yr ochr dde, wyneb tarw ar y chwith, a wyneb eryr ar y cefn. 11Roedden nhw'n dal eu hadenydd ar led – roedd dwy aden gan bob un yn cyffwrdd adenydd y creaduriaid oedd bob ochr iddyn nhw, a'r ddwy aden arall yn gorchuddio eu cyrff. 12Roedden nhw'n mynd ble bynnag roedd yr ysbryd am fynd – yn syth yn eu blaenau, heb droi o gwbl. 13Yn eu canol roedd rhywbeth oedd yn edrych fel marwor yn llosgi, ac roedd y tân fel ffaglau yn symud yn ôl ac ymlaen rhwng y creaduriaid byw. Roedd yn llosgi'n danbaid ac roedd gwreichion yn saethu allan ohono i bob cyfeiriad, 14ac roedd y creaduriaid byw eu hunain yn symud yn ôl ac ymlaen fel fflachiadau mellt. 15Wedyn sylwais fod olwyn ar lawr wrth ymyl pob un o'r pedwar creadur. 16Roedd yr olwynion yn sgleinio fel meini saffir. Roedd pob olwyn yr un fath, gydag olwyn arall tu mewn iddyn nhw ar ongl sgwâr. 17Felly pan oedden nhw'n symud roedden nhw'n gallu mynd i unrhyw un o'r pedwar cyfeiriad heb orfod troi. 18Roedd ymylon yr olwynion yn anferth, wedi eu gorchuddio gyda llygaid. 19Pan oedd y creaduriaid byw yn symud, roedd yr olwynion wrth eu hymyl nhw'n symud. Pan oedd y creaduriaid yn codi oddi ar y ddaear, roedd yr olwynion yn codi hefyd. 20Roedd y creaduriaid yn mynd ble bynnag roedd yr ysbryd am fynd, ac roedd yr olwynion yn codi gyda nhw am fod ysbryd y creaduriaid byw yn yr olwynion hefyd. 21Roedd yr olwynion yn symud ac yn stopio ac yn codi gyda'r creaduriaid am fod ysbryd y creaduriaid byw yn yr olwynion. 22Uwch ben y creaduriaid byw roedd rhywbeth oedd yn edrych yn debyg i lwyfan oedd yn sgleinio fel grisial. Roedd wedi ei ledu fel cromen uwch eu pennau. 23Dyna lle roedd y creaduriaid byw, o dan y llwyfan yma, gyda'i hadenydd yn ymestyn allan at ei gilydd. Roedd gan bob un ohonyn nhw ddwy aden yn gorchuddio ei gorff hefyd. 24Pan oedd y creaduriaid yn hedfan, roeddwn i'n clywed sŵn eu hadenydd nhw – sŵn tebyg i raeadr, neu lais y Duw mawr sy'n rheoli popeth, neu fyddin enfawr yn martsio. Wedyn pan oedden nhw'n stopio roedden nhw'n rhoi eu hadenydd i lawr. 25Dyma nhw'n stopio, a chlywais lais yn dod o'r llwyfan oedd uwch eu pennau. 26Uwch ben y llwyfan roedd rhywbeth oedd yn edrych fel gorsedd wedi ei gwneud o saffir. Wedyn ar yr orsedd roedd ffigwr oedd yn edrych fel person dynol. 27O'i ganol i fyny roedd yn edrych fel tân yn llosgi mewn ffwrnais fetel, ac o'i ganol i lawr fel fflamau tân. Roedd golau llachar yn disgleirio o'i gwmpas. 28Roedd mor hardd a'r enfys yn y cymylau ar ôl iddi lawio. Dyma fi'n sylweddoli mai ysblander yr Arglwydd ei hun oedd e, felly dyma fi'n mynd ar fy ngwyneb ar lawr. A dyma fi'n clywed llais yn siarad â mi.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
