1Dyma'r Arglwydd yn rhoi'r neges yma i mi: 2“Dywed wrth dywysog Tyrus ▼▼28:2 dywysog Tyrus Ethbaal II, brenin Tyrus o 750 i 739 CC
, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: Ti mor falch! Ti'n meddwl dy fod ti'n dduw, ac yn eistedd ar orsedd y duwiau yng nghanol y moroedd! Duw wir! Dim ond dyn meidrol wyt ti, er dy fod yn honni pethau mor fawr. 3Ti'n meddwl dy fod ti'n fwy doeth na Daniel! ▼▼28:3 Daniel Falle mai cyfeiriad sydd yma at Danel, oedd yn arweinydd enwog yn chwedloniaeth Canaan. Dywedir fod ganddo ddoethineb goruwchnaturiol. (Mae'r hanes amdano wedi ei gadw mewn llenyddiaeth Wgaritig o ben uchaf arfordir Phenicia). gw. hefyd Eseciel 14:14,20.
Does dim byd sy'n ddirgelwch i ti! 4Ti wedi defnyddio dy graffter a dy glyfrwch i gael mwy o gyfoeth. Ti wedi casglu aur ac arian i dy goffrau. 5Ti wedi defnyddio dy graffter masnachol i gael mwy o gyfoeth, ond mae dy gyfoeth wedi chwyddo dy ben. 6Felly, dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: Am dy fod yn meddwl dy fod ti'n dduw 7dw i'n mynd i ddod â byddin o wlad estron yn dy erbyn di – y wlad fwya creulon sydd. Byddan nhw'n tynnu eu cleddyfau ac yn taro dy glyfrwch rhyfeddol a difetha dy ysblander. 8Byddi'n cael dy anfon i lawr i Bwll distryw ac yn marw'n greulon yng nghanol y môr. 9Wyt ti'n mynd i ddal ati i honni dy fod yn dduw pan fyddi wyneb yn wyneb â'r rhai fydd yn dy ladd? Dyn meidrol fyddi di yn eu golwg nhw, nid duw! 10Byddi'n cael dy ladd yn y ffordd fwya creulon gan fyddin o wlad estron. Fi ydy'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, a dw i wedi dweud beth sydd i ddod.’” 11Dyma'r Arglwydd yn rhoi'r neges yma i mi: 12“Ddyn, dw i eisiau i ti ganu cân i alaru ar ôl brenin Tyrus. Dywed wrtho, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: Roeddet ti'n batrwm o berffeithrwydd!Mor ddoeth, ac yn rhyfeddol o hardd!
13Roeddet ti'n byw yn Eden, gardd Duw.
Roeddet wedi dy addurno gyda gemau gwerthfawr
– rhuddem, topas, emrallt, saffir melyn,
onics, iasbis, saffir, glasfaen, a beryl.
Roedd y cwbl wedi eu gosod yn gywrain mewn aur pur,
ac wedi eu cyflwyno i ti ar y diwrnod cest ti dy greu.
14Roeddwn wedi dy osod yno
gydag angel gwarcheidiol â'i adenydd ar led,
ar y mynydd wnaeth Duw ei gysegru.
Roeddet yn cerdded yng nghanol y gemau o dân.
15O'r diwrnod y cest dy greu roeddet ti'n ymddwyn yn berffaith
… ond yna cest dy ddal yn pechu.
16Roedd yr holl fasnachu wedi dy droi yn dreisiol.
Dyma ti'n pechu.
Dyma fi'n dy yrru i ffwrdd o fynydd Duw.
Roedd yr angel gwarcheidiol yn dy gadw draw o'r gemau o dân.
17Roeddet wedi troi'n falch am dy fod mor hardd.
Camddefnyddio dy ddoethineb am dy fod mor llawn ohonot dy hun.
A dyna pam wnes i dy fwrw i lawr,
a gwneud sioe ohonot ti o flaen brenhinoedd eraill.
18Roeddet wedi dinistrio dy leoedd cysegredig
o achos dy holl ddrygioni
a'r twyllo wrth fasnachu.
Felly dyma fi'n gwneud i dân gynnau y tu mewn i ti;
a dy ddifa di.
Llosgaist yn dwr o ludw o flaen pawb.
19Roedd pawb oedd yn dy nabod mewn sioc,
am fod dy ddiwedd wedi bod mor erchyll.’”

20Dyma'r Arglwydd yn rhoi'r neges yma i mi: 21“Ddyn, dw i eisiau i ti droi i wynebu Sidon, a proffwydo yn ei herbyn hi. 22Dywed fel yma, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: Gwylia dy hun! Dw i'n mynd i ddelio gyda ti, Sidon. Dw i'n mynd i ddangos fy ysblander yn dy ganol di. Bydd pobl yn gweld mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd pan fydda i'n ei barnu hi, ac yn dangos y gallu sydd gen i a neb arall. 23Bydda i'n anfon afiechydon ofnadwy a thrais ar ei strydoedd. Bydd ei phobl yn cael eu lladd wrth i fyddin ymosod arni o bob cyfeiriad. Byddan nhw'n deall wedyn mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd. 24“‘Fydd pobl Israel ddim yn gorfod diodde eu cymdogion maleisus yn pigo ac yn rhwygo fel drain a mieri. A byddan nhw hefyd yn deall mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd, y Meistr. Gobaith i Israel
25“‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: Bydda i'n casglu pobl Israel at ei gilydd o'r holl wledydd lle maen nhw ar chwâl. Bydda i'n dangos y gallu sydd gen i a neb arall i'r gwledydd i gyd. Bydd pobl Israel yn byw unwaith eto yn y tir rois i i'm gwas Jacob. 26Byddan nhw'n cael byw yno'n saff, adeiladu tai a plannu gwinllannoedd. Byddan nhw'n cael byw yn saff ar ôl i mi farnu'r cymdogion maleisus sydd o'u cwmpas nhw. Byddan nhw'n deall wedyn mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd, eu Duw nhw.’”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
