1Yna dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses, “Dos at y Pharo a dweud wrtho, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd yn ei ddweud: “Gad i'm pobl fynd yn rhydd, iddyn nhw gael fy addoli i! 2Os byddi di'n gwrthod gadael iddyn nhw fynd, bydda i'n anfon pla o lyffaint drwy'r wlad. 3Bydd yr Afon Nil yn llawn ohonyn nhw. A byddan nhw'n dod i mewn i'r palas, i dy ystafell wely di, a hyd yn oed ar dy wely! Byddan nhw'n mynd i mewn i dai pawb. Byddan nhw ym mhob ffwrn a phowlen a phadell! 4Byddan nhw dros bawb a phopeth! – drosot ti, dy bobl a dy swyddogion.”’” 5Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses, “Dywed wrth Aaron am estyn ei ffon dros yr afonydd, y camlesi a'r corsydd, a gwneud i lyffaint ddod allan dros wlad yr Aifft i gyd.” 6Dyma Aaron yn gwneud hynny, a daeth llyffaint allan dros wlad yr Aifft i gyd. 7Ond yna dyma'r dewiniaid yn gwneud yr un peth gyda'i hud a lledrith – roedden nhw hefyd yn gwneud i lyffaint ddod dros y wlad. 8Yna dyma'r Pharo yn galw am Moses ac Aaron, a dweud wrthyn nhw, “Gweddïwch ar yr Arglwydd iddo gymryd y llyffaint i ffwrdd oddi wrtho i a'r bobl. Wedyn bydda i'n gadael i'r bobl fynd, iddyn nhw aberthu i'r Arglwydd.” 9A dyma Moses yn ateb y Pharo, “Iawn, cei di'r fraint o ddweud pryd wyt ti eisiau i mi weddïo. Pryd wyt ti eisiau i'r llyffaint gael eu symud o'ch tai chi, fel bod dim ar ôl ond y rhai sydd yn yr Afon Nil?” 10A dyma fe'n ateb, “Yfory.” “Iawn,” meddai Moses, “fel rwyt ti'n dweud! Byddi'n deall wedyn fod yna neb tebyg i'r Arglwydd ein Duw ni. 11Bydd y llyffaint i gyd wedi mynd, heblaw'r rhai sydd yn yr Afon Nil.” 12Felly dyma Moses ac Aaron yn gadael y Pharo, a gweddïodd Moses ar yr Arglwydd am y llyffaint roedd e wedi eu hanfon ar y Pharo. 13A dyma'r Arglwydd yn gwneud fel roedd Moses yn gofyn – dyma'r llyffaint i gyd yn marw, yn y tai, y pentrefi a'r caeau. 14Cafodd y cwbl eu casglu'n domenni ym mhobman, nes bod y wlad yn drewi! 15Ond yna, pan welodd y Pharo fod y broblem wedi mynd, dyma fe'n troi'n ystyfnig eto. Roedd yn gwrthod gwrando ar Moses ac Aaron, yn union fel roedd yr Arglwydd wedi dweud.Pla o wybed
16Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses, “Dywed wrth Aaron am estyn ei ffon a taro'r pridd ar lawr, iddo droi'n wybed dros wlad yr Aifft i gyd.” 17A dyna wnaethon nhw. Dyma Aaron yn estyn ei ffon a taro'r pridd ar lawr, ac roedd gwybed ym mhobman, ar bobl ac anifeiliaid. Trodd y pridd ar lawr yn wybed ym mhobman drwy wlad yr Aifft i gyd. 18Ceisiodd y dewiniaid wneud yr un peth gyda'i hud a lledrith, ond roedden nhw'n methu. Roedd gwybed ym mhobman, ar bobl ac anifeiliaid! 19“Duw sydd tu ôl i hyn!” meddai'r dewiniaid. Ond roedd y Pharo yn aros yr un mor ystyfnig, ac yn gwrthod gwrando ar Moses ac Aaron, yn union fel roedd yr Arglwydd wedi dweud.Pla o bryfed
20Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses, “Coda'n fore, a sefyll o flaen y Pharo pan fydd yn mynd i lawr at yr afon. Dywed wrtho, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd yn ei ddweud, “Gad i'm pobl fynd yn rhydd, iddyn nhw gael fy addoli i! 21Os byddi di'n gwrthod gadael i'm pobl fynd, dw i'n mynd i anfon heidiau o bryfed i dy boeni di, dy swyddogion a dy bobl. Bydd eich tai yn llawn pryfed, byddan nhw hyd yn oed ar lawr ym mhobman. 22Ond bydda i'n delio'n wahanol gyda Gosen, lle mae fy mhobl Israel yn byw; fydd yna ddim pryfed yno. Byddi'n deall wedyn mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd, a'm bod i yma yng nghanol gwlad yr Aifft. 23Bydda i'n gwahaniaethu rhwng fy mhobl i a dy bobl di. Bydd hyn yn digwydd yfory.”’” 24A dyna wnaeth yr Arglwydd. Daeth haid trwchus o bryfed i mewn i balas y Pharo, tai ei swyddogion, a thrwy wlad yr Aifft i gyd. Roedd y pryfed yn difetha'r wlad. 25A dyma'r Pharo yn galw am Moses ac Aaron, a dweud wrthyn nhw, “Iawn, ewch i aberthu i'ch Duw, ond o fewn ffiniau'r wlad yma.” 26Ond dyma Moses yn ateb, “Na, fyddai hynny ddim yn beth call i'w wneud. Bydden ni'n tramgwyddo pobl yr Aifft gyda'r aberthau dŷn ni'n eu cyflwyno i'r Arglwydd ein Duw. Os byddan nhw'n ein gweld ni'n aberthu, byddan nhw'n dechrau taflu cerrig aton ni i'n lladd ni. 27Rhaid i ni deithio am dri diwrnod i'r anialwch, ac aberthu i'r Arglwydd ein Duw yno. Dyna mae e'n ddweud wrthon ni.” 28Felly dyma'r Pharo'n dweud, “Iawn, gwna i adael i chi fynd i aberthu i'r Arglwydd eich Duw yn yr anialwch. Ond rhaid i chi beidio mynd yn rhy bell. Nawr, gweddïwch drosto i.” 29A dyma Moses yn dweud, “Yn syth ar ôl i mi fynd allan, bydda i'n gweddïo ar yr Arglwydd ac yn gofyn iddo anfon y pryfed i ffwrdd yfory – oddi wrthot ti, dy swyddogion a dy bobl. Ond paid ceisio'n twyllo ni eto, a gwrthod gadael i'r bobl fynd i aberthu i'r Arglwydd.” 30Felly dyma Moses yn gadael y Pharo, ac yn gweddïo ar yr Arglwydd. 31A dyma'r Arglwydd yn gwneud fel roedd Moses yn gofyn – dyma fe'n gyrru'r pryfed i ffwrdd oddi wrth y Pharo, ei swyddogion a'i bobl. Doedd dim un ar ôl! 32Ond dyma'r Pharo'n troi'n ystyfnig unwaith eto, ac yn gwrthod gadael i'r bobl fynd.

How do I do a word study?
- What information can I find about a word?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
