1Ond dyma Moses yn ateb, “Beth os wnân nhw ddim fy nghredu i? Beth os ddwedan nhw, ‘Wnaeth yr Arglwydd ddim dangos ei hun i ti.’?” 2Felly dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrtho, “Beth ydy hwnna yn dy law di?” A dyma fe'n ateb, “Ffon.” 3A dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud, “Tafla hi ar lawr.” Dyma fe'n taflu'r ffon ar lawr, a dyma hi'n troi'n neidr. A dyma Moses yn cilio'n ôl yn reit sydyn. 4Ond dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrtho, “Estyn dy law a gafael ynddi wrth ei chynffon.” A dyma Moses yn estyn ei law a gafael ynddi, a dyma hi'n troi yn ôl yn ffon yn ei law. 5“Gwna di hyn, a byddan nhw'n credu wedyn fod yr Arglwydd, Duw eu hynafiaid – Duw Abraham, Isaac a Jacob – wedi ymddangos i ti.” 6Yna dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrtho, “Rho dy law i mewn yn dy fantell.” Felly dyma fe'n rhoi ei law yn ei fantell. Ond pan dynnodd hi allan, roedd brech fel gwahanglwyf drosti, roedd yn wyn fel yr eira! 7A dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud eto, “Rho dy law yn ôl i mewn yn dy fantell.” Felly dyma Moses yn rhoi ei law yn ôl yn ei fantell, a pan dynnodd hi allan y tro yma, roedd hi'n iach eto, fel gweddill ei groen! 8Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud, “Os byddan nhw'n gwrthod dy gredu di pan welan nhw'r arwydd cyntaf, falle y gwnân nhw gredu'r ail arwydd. 9Os byddan nhw'n dal i wrthod credu, yna cymer ddŵr o'r afon Nil a'i dywallt ar y tir sych. Bydd y dŵr yn troi'n waed ar y tir sych.” 10Ond wedyn dyma Moses yn dweud wrth yr Arglwydd, “Plîs, Meistr, dw i ddim yn siaradwr da iawn – dw i erioed wedi bod, a fydda i byth chwaith. Mae gen i atal dweud, a dw i'n ei chael hi'n anodd i siarad.” 11Ond dyma'r Arglwydd yn ei ateb, “Pwy roddodd geg i ddyn yn y lle cyntaf? Pwy sy'n gwneud rhai yn fud, eraill yn fyddar, rhai yn gweld ac eraill yn ddall? Onid fi, yr Arglwydd? 12Felly dos; bydda i'n dy helpu di i siarad, ac yn dy ddysgu di beth i'w ddweud.” 13Ond meddai Moses, “O, plîs, Meistr, anfon rhywun arall!” 14Erbyn hyn roedd yr Arglwydd wedi digio gyda Moses, “Iawn! Beth am dy frawd Aaron, y Lefiad? Dw i'n gwybod ei fod e'n gallu siarad yn dda. Mae e ar ei ffordd i dy gyfarfod di. Bydd e wrth ei fodd pan fydd e'n dy weld di! 15Byddi di'n dweud wrtho beth i'w ddweud. Bydda i'n dy helpu di a'i helpu fe i siarad, ac yn dangos i chi beth i'w wneud. 16Bydd e'n siarad ar dy ran di gyda'r bobl. Bydd e'n siarad ar dy ran di, a byddi di fel ‛duw‛ yn dweud wrtho beth i'w ddweud. 17A dos â dy ffon gyda ti – byddi'n gwneud arwyddion gwyrthiol gyda hi.”Moses yn mynd yn ôl i'r Aifft
18Felly dyma Moses yn mynd yn ôl adre at Jethro, ei dad-yng-nghyfraith, a dweud wrtho, “Plîs gad i mi fynd yn ôl at fy mhobl yn yr Aifft, i weld os ydyn nhw'n dal yn fyw.” A dyma Jethro'n dweud wrtho, “Dos, a bendith arnat ti!” 19Roedd yr Arglwydd wedi dweud wrth Moses yn Midian, “Dos yn ôl i'r Aifft. Mae'r dynion oedd am dy ladd di wedi marw.” 20Felly dyma Moses yn mynd gyda'i wraig a'i feibion – ei rhoi nhw ar gefn mul, a dechrau yn ôl am yr Aifft. Ac aeth â ffon Duw gydag e yn ei law. 21Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses, “Pan ei di yn ôl i'r Aifft, gwna'n siŵr dy fod yn gwneud yr holl wyrthiau rhyfeddol dw i wedi rhoi'r gallu i ti eu gwneud o flaen y Pharo. Ond bydda i'n ei wneud e'n ystyfnig, a bydd e'n gwrthod gadael i'r bobl fynd. 22Felly dywed di wrth y Pharo, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd yn ei ddweud: “Fy mab i ydy Israel, fy mab hynaf i, 23a dw i wedi dweud wrthot ti am adael iddo fynd, iddo gael fy addoli i. Gwylia dy hun os byddi di'n gwrthod! Bydda i'n lladd dy fab hynaf di!”’” 24Ar y ffordd, roedd Moses a'i deulu wedi aros i letya dros nos. A dyma'r Arglwydd yn dod ato, ac roedd yn mynd i'w ladd. 25Ond dyma Seffora yn cymryd cyllell finiog, torri'r blaengroen oddi ar bidyn ei mab. Yna cyffwrdd man preifat Moses gydag e, a dweud, “Rwyt ti wir yn briodfab i mi trwy waed.” 26A dyma'r Arglwydd yn gadael llonydd iddo. (Wrth ddweud “priodfab trwy waed” roedd Seffora'n cyfeirio at ddefod enwaediad.) 27Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Aaron, “Dos i'r anialwch i gyfarfod Moses.” Felly dyma fe'n mynd ac yn cyfarfod Moses wrth fynydd Duw, a'i gyfarch gyda chusan. 28A dyma Moses yn dweud wrth Aaron bopeth roedd yr Arglwydd wedi ei anfon i'w ddweud, ac am yr arwyddion gwyrthiol roedd i'w gwneud. 29Galwodd Moses ac Aaron arweinwyr Israel at ei gilydd. 30A dyma Aaron yn dweud wrthyn nhw am bopeth roedd yr Arglwydd wedi ei ddweud wrth Moses. A dyma'r bobl yn gweld yr arwyddion gwyrthiol 31ac yn ei gredu. Pan glywon nhw fod yr Arglwydd wedi bod yn cadw golwg ar bobl Israel ac wedi gweld sut roedden nhw'n cael eu cam-drin, dyma nhw'n plygu i lawr yn isel i'w addoli.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
