Cyfiawnder i bawb
1Paid hel straeon sydd ddim yn wir. Paid helpu pobl ddrwg drwy ddweud celwydd yn y llys.2Paid dilyn y dorf i wneud drwg. Paid rhoi tystiolaeth ffals sydd ddim ond yn cydfynd gyda beth mae pawb arall yn ei ddweud. 3A paid dangos ffafriaeth at rywun mewn achos llys dim ond am ei fod yn dlawd.
4Os wyt ti'n dod o hyd i darw neu asyn dy elyn yn crwydro, dos â'r anifail yn ôl i'w berchennog.
5Os wyt ti'n gweld asyn rhywun sy'n dy gasáu di wedi syrthio dan ei faich, paid pasio heibio; dos i'w helpu i godi.
6Paid gwrthod cyfiawnder i rywun mewn achos llys am ei fod yn dlawd.
7Paid byth a cyhuddo pobl ar gam – rhag i rywun dieuog gael ei ddedfrydu i farwolaeth. Bydda i'n cosbi'r rhai sy'n gwneud drwg.
8Paid derbyn breib. Mae breib yn dallu'r sawl sy'n gweld yn glir, ac yn tanseilio achos pobl sy'n ddieuog. 9Paid cam-drin mewnfudwr. Ti'n gwybod yn iawn sut deimlad ydy e – mewnfudwyr oeddech chi yn yr Aifft.

10Rwyt i hau cnydau a chasglu'r cynhaeaf am chwe mlynedd. 11Ond yna ar y seithfed flwyddyn mae'r tir i gael gorffwys, heb gael ei drin. Bydd y bobl dlawd yn cael casglu a bwyta beth bynnag sy'n tyfu ohono'i hun, a'r anifeiliaid gwylltion yn cael beth sy'n weddill. Gwna'r un peth gyda dy winllan a dy goed olewydd.12Rwyt i weithio am chwe diwrnod, a gorffwys ar y seithfed. Bydd yn rhoi cyfle i dy ychen a dy asyn orffwys, ac i'r caethweision sydd wedi eu geni yn dy dŷ a'r mewnfudwr sy'n gweithio i ti ymlacio.
13Gwyliwch eich bod chi'n gwneud beth dw i'n ddweud wrthoch chi. Peidiwch talu sylw i dduwiau eraill, na hyd yn oed eu henwi nhw!

(Exodus 34:18-26; Deuteronomium 16:1-17) 14Bob blwyddyn dych chi i gynnal tair gŵyl i mi. 15Yn gyntaf, Gŵyl y Bara Croyw. Ar ddyddiau arbennig yn mis Abib byddwch yn dathlu dod allan o wlad yr Aifft. Rhaid i chi fwyta bara heb furum ynddo am saith diwrnod, fel dwedais i bryd hynny. Does neb i ddod ata i heb rywbeth i'w offrymu.16Yna Gŵyl y Cynhaeaf, pan fyddwch yn dod â ffrwyth cyntaf eich cnydau i mi.

A dydy'r brasder ddim i'w adael heb ei losgi dros nos.
19Tyrd â ffrwyth cyntaf gorau dy dir i deml yr Arglwydd dy Dduw.
Paid berwi cig gafr ifanc yn llaeth ei fam.”

20“Dw i'n mynd i anfon angel o'ch blaen chi, i'ch cadw chi'n saff pan fyddwch chi'n teithio, ac i'ch arwain i'r lle dw i wedi ei baratoi ar eich cyfer chi. 21Gwrandwch arno, a gwnewch beth mae e'n ddweud. Peidiwch tynnu'n groes iddo achos fydd e ddim yn maddau i chi. Fi sydd yna ynddo fe. 22Ond os gwnewch chi wrando arno, a gwneud beth dw i'n ddweud, bydda i'n ymladd yn erbyn y gelynion fydd yn codi yn eich erbyn chi. 23Bydd fy angel yn eich arwain chi at yr Amoriaid, Hethiaid, Peresiaid, Canaaneaid, Hefiaid a Jebwsiaid, a bydda i'n eu dinistrio nhw'n llwyr. 24Peidiwch plygu i lawr i addoli eu duwiau nhw, na dilyn eu harferion nhw. Dw i eisiau i chi eu dinistrio nhw'n llwyr, a malu eu colofnau cysegredig yn ddarnau. 25Addolwch yr Arglwydd eich Duw, a bydd e'n rhoi bara i chi ei fwyta a dŵr i chi ei yfed, ac yn eich cadw chi'n iach. 26Fydd yna ddim gwragedd sy'n methu cael plant, na gwragedd beichiog yn colli eu plant, a bydd pawb yn cael byw yn hir. 27“Bydda i'n achosi braw wrth i bobl eich gweld chi'n dod. Byddai'n dinistrio'r bobloedd fyddwch chi'n dod ar eu traws. Byddan nhw'n dianc oddi wrthoch chi. 28Bydda i'n achosi panig llwyr, ac yn gyrru'r Hefiaid, Canaaneaid a Hethiaid allan o'ch ffordd. 29Ond fydd hyn ddim yn digwydd i gyd ar yr un pryd. Does gen i ddim eisiau i'r wlad droi'n anialwch, ac anifeiliaid gwylltion yn cymryd drosodd. 30Bydda i'n eu gyrru nhw allan bob yn dipyn, i roi cyfle i'ch poblogaeth chi dyfu digon i lenwi'r wlad. 31“Bydda i'n gosod ffiniau i chi o'r Môr Coch ▼▼23:31 Môr Coch Hebraeg, “Môr y Brwyn”.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
