1“Dyma'r rheolau a'r canllawiau dw i eisiau i chi eu cadw pan fyddwch chi'n byw yn y wlad mae'r Arglwydd, Duw eich hynafiaid, wedi ei roi i chi. 2“Mae'n rhaid i chi ddinistrio'n llwyr y mannau hynny lle mae'r bobl fyddwch chi'n cymryd y tir oddi arnyn nhw yn addoli eu duwiau – ar y mynyddoedd a'r bryniau, a than bob coeden ddeiliog. 3Chwalu eu hallorau paganaidd nhw, malu'r colofnau cysegredig, llosgi polion y dduwies Ashera i lawr, a bwrw'r delwau o'u duwiau nhw i lawr. 4“Peidiwch addoli'r Arglwydd eich Duw yn y ffordd maen nhw'n addoli eu duwiau. 5Ewch i'r lle mae'r Arglwydd wedi ei ddewis iddo'i hun, a'i addoli yno. 6Dyna lle byddwch chi'n mynd i gyflwyno offrymau i'w llosgi ac aberthau eraill, eich rhoddion a'ch degymau, eich offrymau i wneud addewid, eich offrymau gwirfoddol, a'r anifeiliaid cyntaf-anedig – gwartheg, defaid a geifr. 7Byddwch chi a'ch teuluoedd yn mynd yno i fwyta a gwledda, a dathlu'r ffaith fod yr Arglwydd wedi bendithio'ch gwaith caled chi a rhoi cnydau da i chi. 8“Rhaid i chi beidio gwneud beth dŷn ni'n ei wneud yma heddiw – pawb yn gwneud beth mae nhw eisiau. 9Dych chi ddim eto wedi cyrraedd pen y daith, a derbyn yr etifeddiaeth mae'r Arglwydd eich Duw yn ei rhoi i chi. 10Ar ôl i chi groesi'r Afon Iorddonen, a setlo yn y wlad mae'n ei rhoi i chi, pan fyddwch chi'n cael llonydd gan yr holl elynion o'ch cwmpas chi, byddwch chi'n saff. 11Byddwch chi'n mynd i'r lle fydd yr Arglwydd wedi ei ddewis iddo'i hun, ac yn mynd â'r pethau dw i'n ei orchymyn i gyd iddo – offrymau i'w llosgi, aberthau, degymau, eich rhoddion personol, a'r offrymau i wneud adduned dych chi am eu rhoi iddo. 12“Byddwch yn dathlu o flaen yr Arglwydd eich Duw, gyda'ch meibion a'ch merched, eich gweision a'ch morynion, a'r Lefiaid sy'n byw yn eich pentrefi (gan na chawson nhw dir fel y gweddill ohonoch chi.) 13Peidiwch cyflwyno offrymau i'w llosgi ble bynnag dych chi eisiau. 14Gwnewch y cwbl dw i'n ei orchymyn i chi, dim ond yn y lle fydd yr Arglwydd wedi ei ddewis. 15“Ond cewch ladd anifeiliaid i fwyta eu cig ble bynnag dych chi eisiau – cig y gasél a'r carw. Bydd yr Arglwydd eich Duw yn eich bendithio, a bydd pawb yn cael ei fwyta – y bobl sy'n lân yn seremonïol a'r rhai sydd ddim. 16Ond rhaid i chi beidio bwyta'r gwaed – mae'r gwaed i gael ei dywallt ar lawr fel dŵr. 17“A dych chi ddim i fwyta eich offrymau yn eich pentrefi – y degwm o'r ŷd, y sudd grawnwin a'r olew olewydd, yr anifeiliaid cyntaf-anedig, eich offrymau i wneud adduned a'ch offrymau personol gwirfoddol. 18Mae'r rhain i gael eu bwyta o flaen yr Arglwydd yn y lle mae e wedi ei ddewis. Dych chi, a'ch meibion a'ch merched, eich gweision a'ch morynion, a'r Lefiaid sy'n byw yn eich pentrefi i fynd yno, i ddathlu'r ffaith fod yr Arglwydd wedi bendithio'ch gwaith caled chi drwy roi cnydau mor dda i chi. 19Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod chi byth yn esgeuluso'ch cyfrifoldeb tuag at y bobl o lwyth Lefi. 20“Mae'r Arglwydd wedi addo y bydd yn rhoi mwy o dir i chi. Pan fydd yn gwneud hynny, cewch fwyta faint bynnag o gig dych chi eisiau, ble bynnag dych chi eisiau. 21Os bydd y lle mae'r Arglwydd wedi ei ddewis iddo'i hun yn rhy bell i chi deithio iddo, cewch ladd yr anifeiliaid fel dw i wedi dweud wrthoch chi, a'i bwyta nhw yn eich pentrefi. 22Caiff pawb eu bwyta nhw – y bobl sy'n lân yn seremonïol a'r rhai sydd ddim. Cewch fwyta fel petai'n gig gasél neu garw. 23Ond peidiwch bwyta gwaed ar unrhyw gyfri! Mae'r bywyd yn y gwaed, a rhaid i chi beidio bwyta'r bywyd gyda'r cig. 24Peidiwch a'i fwyta! Rhaid i chi ei dywallt ar lawr fel dŵr. 25Peidiwch a'i fwyta, er mwyn i bethau fynd yn dda i chi a'ch plant ar eich ôl. Byddwch yn gwneud beth sy'n iawn yng ngolwg yr Arglwydd. 26“Dim ond y pethau sanctaidd, a'r offrymau i wneud adduned, fydd raid i chi fynd â nhw i'r lle ffydd fydd yr Arglwydd yn ei ddewis. 27Rhaid i chi gyflwyno'r offrymau sydd i'w llosgi, y cig a'r gwaed, ar allor yr Arglwydd eich Duw. Ac mae gwaed yr aberthau eraill i'w dywallt ar yr allor pan fyddwch chi'n bwyta'r cig. 28Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod chi'n gwneud beth dw i'n ei orchymyn i chi, er mwyn i bethau fynd yn dda i chi ac i'ch disgynyddion ar eich holau. Byddwch chi'n gwneud beth sy'n dda ac yn iawn yng ngolwg yr Arglwydd eich Duw.Rhybudd i beidio addoli duwiau eraill
29“Pan fydd yr Arglwydd eich Duw yn cael gwared â'r bobloedd sydd yn y wlad dych chi'n mynd i'w chymryd, byddwch chi'n setlo i lawr yno yn eu lle nhw. 30Pan fyddan nhw wedi cael eu dinistrio o'ch blaen chi, gwyliwch rhag i chi gael eu trapio yr un fath â nhw. Peidiwch addoli eu duwiau nhw, na ceisio darganfod sut roedden nhw'n addoli, a meddwl gwneud yr un fath â nhw. 31Dych chi ddim i addoli'r Arglwydd eich Duw yn y ffyrdd roedden nhw'n addoli. Roedden nhw'n gwneud pethau sy'n hollol ffiaidd gan yr Arglwydd wrth addoli – pethau mae e'n eu casáu! Roedden nhw hyd yn oed yn llosgi eu plant yn aberth i'w duwiau! 32“Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod yn gwneud popeth dw i'n ei orchymyn i chi – peidiwch ychwanegu dim na chymryd dim i ffwrdd!

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
