Deuteronomy 11
Mae'r Arglwydd mor fawr
1“Rhaid i chi garu'r Arglwydd eich Duw, a gwneud beth mae e eisiau – cadw ei ganllawiau, ei reolau a'i orchmynion bob amser. 2Cofiwch mai nid gyda'ch plant chi dw i'n siarad, ond gyda chi sydd wedi gweld yr Arglwydd yn cosbi. Dych chi wedi gweld mor fawr a chryf a nerthol ydy e. 3Wnaeth eich plant ddim gweld y pethau ofnadwy wnaeth Duw i'r Pharo a'i bobl yn yr Aifft. 4Wnaethon nhw ddim gweld beth wnaeth e i fyddin yr Aifft, a'u ceffylau a'u cerbydau. Gwnaeth i'r Môr Coch lifo drostyn nhw a'u boddi nhw pan oedden nhw'n ceisio'ch dal chi. 5Wnaethon nhw ddim gweld beth wnaeth e i chi yn yr anialwch cyn i chi gyrraedd yma. 6Gwnaeth yr Arglwydd i'r ddaear agor yng nghanol y gwersyll, a dyma Dathan ac Abiram (meibion Eliab o lwyth Reuben), a'u teuluoedd a'u pebyll a'u hanifeiliaid i gyd, yn cael eu llyncu gan y ddaear. 7Gyda chi dw i'n siarad, am mai chi welodd yr pethau mawr yma wnaeth yr Arglwydd.Y tir wnaeth yr Arglwydd ei addo
8“Felly gwrandwch yn ofalus ar y gorchmynion dw i'n eu rhoi i chi heddiw. Wedyn byddwch chi'n gallu mynd i mewn a chymryd y tir 9wnaeth yr Arglwydd ei addo i'ch hynafiaid chi. Mae'n dir ffrwythlon – tir lle mae llaeth a mêl yn llifo. 10Dydy e ddim yr un fath â'r tir yn yr Aifft o'r lle daethoch chi. Yno roeddech chi'n hau yr had, ac yn gorfod gweithio'n galed i'w ddyfrio, fel gardd lysiau. 11Na, mae'r wlad dych chi'n croesi'r Afon Iorddonen i'w chymryd, yn wlad o fryniau a dyffrynnoedd, a'r tir yn cael ei ddyfrio gan y glaw sy'n disgyn o'r awyr. 12Tir mae'r Arglwydd eich Duw yn gofalu amdano, o ddechrau'r flwyddyn i'w diwedd. 13“Os gwnewch chi wrando'n ofalus ar y gorchmynion dw i'n eu rhoi i chi heddiw, a caru'r Arglwydd eich Duw â'ch holl galon ac â'ch holl enaid, 14mae e'n addo ‘Bydda i'n anfon glaw ar y tir ar yr amser iawn, sef yn yr hydref a'r gwanwyn, er mwyn i chi gasglu'ch cnydau o ŷd a grawnwin ac olewydd. 15Bydda i'n rhoi porfa i'ch anifeiliaid, a digonedd o fwyd i chi ei fwyta.’ 16“Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod chi ddim yn troi cefn arno a dechrau addoli duwiau eraill! 17Os gwnewch chi hynny bydd yr Arglwydd yn digio'n lân hefo chi, ac yn gwneud iddi stopio glawio. Fydd dim cnydau'n tyfu, a byddwch chi'n cael eich symud o'r tir da mae'r Arglwydd ar fin ei roi i chi. 18“Felly dysga'r gorchmynion yma ar dy gof. Rhwyma nhw ar dy freichiau i dy atgoffa di, a gwisga nhw ar dy dalcen i'w cofio. 19Dysga nhw'n gyson i dy blant, a'i trafod nhw pan fyddi adre yn y tŷ, ac i ffwrdd oddi cartref, pan fyddi'n mynd i gysgu, ac yn codi yn y bore. 20Ysgrifenna nhw ar ffrâm drws dy dŷ, ac ar giatiau'r dref. 21Os gwnei di hynny byddi di a dy ddisgynyddion yn aros yn y wlad wnaeth yr Arglwydd ei haddo i dy hynafiaid am byth. 22“Os gwnewch chi'n union fel dw i'n dweud, caru'r Arglwydd eich Duw, byw fel mae e eisiau i chi fyw ac aros yn ffyddlon iddo, 23byddwch chi'n gyrru allan y bobloedd sydd o'ch blaenau chi, ac yn cymryd tir oddi ar genhedloedd mwy a chryfach na chi. 24Byddwch chi'n cael pob modfedd sgwâr o dir fyddwch chi'n cerdded arno. Bydd eich ffiniau yn mynd o'r anialwch yn y de i Libanus yn y gogledd, ac o'r Afon Ewffrates yr holl ffordd at Fôr y Canoldir. 25Fydd neb yn gallu'ch rhwystro chi. Fel gwnaeth e addo i chi, bydd yr Arglwydd eich Duw yn gwneud i chi godi ofn ar bawb, ble bynnag dych chi'n mynd. 26“Gwrandwch yn ofalus – dw i'n rhoi dewis i chi, rhwng bendith a melltith. 27Bendith gewch chi os byddwch chi'n ufudd i orchmynion yr Arglwydd. 28Ond melltith gewch chi os byddwch chi'n cymryd dim sylw o'i orchmynion, troi cefn ar y ffordd dw i'n ei gosod o'ch blaen chi, ac addoli eilun-dduwiau dych chi'n gwybod dim amdanyn nhw. 29Pan fydd yr Arglwydd eich Duw yn mynd â chi i mewn i'r wlad dych chi i'w chymryd, rhaid i chi gyhoeddi'r fendith ar Fynydd Gerisim, a'r felltith ar Fynydd Ebal. 30Maen nhw yr ochr draw i'r Afon Iorddonen, ar dir y Canaaneaid sy'n byw yn yr Araba – wrth ymyl Gilgal sydd heb fod yn bell o dderwen More. 31“Dych chi ar fin croesi'r Afon Iorddonen i gymryd y tir mae'r Arglwydd eich Duw yn ei roi i chi. Dyna ble byddwch chi'n byw. 32Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod yn cadw'r rheolau a'r canllawiau dw i wedi eu rhoi i chi heddiw.
