1Pan oedd yr helynt drosodd, dyma Paul yn galw'r Cristnogion at ei gilydd i ffarwelio â nhw a'u hannog nhw i ddal ati. Gadawodd i fynd i Macedonia, 2ac ar ôl teithio ar hyd a lled yr ardal honno yn annog y bobl, aeth i lawr i Corinth yn y de, 3ac aros yno am dri mis. Pan oedd ar fin hwylio i Syria dyma fe'n darganfod fod yr Iddewon yn cynllwyn i ymosod arno, felly penderfynodd deithio yn ôl drwy Macedonia. 4Yn teithio gydag e roedd Sopater fab Pyrrhus o Berea, Aristarchus a Secwndus o Thesalonica, Gaius o Derbe, hefyd Timotheus, a Tychicus a Troffimus o dalaith Asia. 5Ond yna aeth y rhain yn eu blaenau i Troas, a disgwyl amdanon ni yno. 6Wnaethon ni ddim gadael Philipi nes oedd Gŵyl y Bara Croyw (sef y Pasg) drosodd. Yna bum diwrnod wedyn roedden ni wedi ymuno gyda'r lleill eto yn Troas, a dyma ni'n aros yno am wythnos.Eutychus yn dod yn ôl yn fyw
7Ar y nos Sadwrn dyma ni'n cyfarfod i fwyta a dathlu Swper yr Arglwydd ▼▼20:7 Groeg i dorri bara.

Paul oedd yn pregethu, a chan ei fod yn bwriadu gadael y diwrnod wedyn, daliodd ati i siarad nes oedd hi'n hanner nos. 8Roedden ni'n cyfarfod mewn ystafell i fyny'r grisiau, ac roedd llawer o lampau yn llosgi yno. 9Wrth i Paul fynd ymlaen ac ymlaen, dyma fachgen ifanc o'r enw Eutychus yn dechrau pendwmpian. Roedd yn eistedd ar silff un o'r ffenestri, a phan oedd yn cysgu go iawn syrthiodd allan o'r ffenest oedd ar y trydydd llawr. 13Dyma Paul yn penderfynu croesi ar draws gwlad i Assos. Roedd am i'r gweddill ohonon ni hwylio yno ar long, a byddai'n ein cyfarfod ni yno. 14Yn Assos ymunodd â ni ar y llong a dyma ni'n hwylio ymlaen i Mitylene. 15Y diwrnod wedyn dyma ni'n cyrraedd gyferbyn ag ynys Cios. Croesi i Samos y diwrnod canlynol. Ac yna'r diwrnod ar ôl hynny dyma ni'n glanio yn Miletus. 16Roedd Paul wedi penderfynu peidio galw yn Effesus y tro yma, rhag iddo golli gormod o amser yn nhalaith Asia. Roedd ar frys, ac yn awyddus i gyrraedd Jerwsalem erbyn Gŵyl y Pentecost.Paul yn ffarwelio ag arweinwyr eglwys Effesus
17Ond tra roedd yn Miletus, anfonodd neges i Effesus yn galw arweinwyr yr eglwys i ddod draw i Miletus i'w gyfarfod. 18Pan gyrhaeddon nhw, dyma oedd ganddo i'w ddweud wrthyn nhw: “Dych chi'n gwybod yn iawn sut fues i'n gweithio i'r Arglwydd heb dynnu sylw ata i fy hun pan oeddwn i gyda chi yn nhalaith Asia. 19Dych chi'n gwybod am y dagrau gollais i, ac mor anodd roedd hi'n gallu bod am fod yr Iddewon yn cynllwynio yn fy erbyn i. 20Dych chi'n gwybod mod i wedi cyhoeddi beth oedd o les i chi, a mynd o gwmpas yn gwbl agored o un tŷ i'r llall yn eich dysgu chi. 21Dw i wedi dweud yn glir wrth yr Iddewon a phawb arall fod rhaid iddyn nhw droi o'u pechod at Dduw, a chredu yn yr Arglwydd Iesu. 22“A nawr dw i'n mynd i Jerwsalem. Mae'r Ysbryd wedi dweud fod rhaid i mi fynd, er nad ydw i'n gwybod beth fydd yn digwydd i mi ar ôl i mi gyrraedd yno. 23Yr unig beth dw i'n wybod ydy mod i'n mynd i gael fy arestio a bod pethau'n mynd i fod yn galed – mae'r Ysbryd Glân wedi gwneud hynny'n ddigon clir dro ar ôl tro mewn gwahanol leoedd. 24Sdim ots! Cyn belled â'm bod i'n gorffen y ras! Dydy mywyd i'n dda i ddim oni bai mod i'n gwneud y gwaith mae'r Arglwydd Iesu wedi ei roi i mi – sef dweud y newyddion da am gariad a haelioni Duw wrth bobl. 25“A dyna dw i wedi ei wneud yn eich plith chi – dw i wedi bod yn mynd o le i le yn pregethu am deyrnasiad Duw, ond bellach dw i'n gwybod na chewch chi ngweld i byth eto. 26Felly, dw i am ddweud yma heddiw – dim fi sy'n gyfrifol am beth fydd yn digwydd i unrhyw un ▼▼20:26 Groeg dw i'n ddieuog o waed pawb.
. 27Dw i wedi dweud popeth sydd ei angen am y ffordd mae Duw'n achub, a beth mae'n ei ddisgwyl gynnon ni. 28“Gofalwch amdanoch eich hunain, a'r bobl mae'r Ysbryd Glân wedi eu rhoi yn eich gofal fel arweinwyr. Bugeilio eglwys Dduw fel mae bugail yn gofalu am ei braidd – dyma'r eglwys wnaeth Duw ei phrynu'n rhydd â'i waed ei hun! 29Dw i'n gwybod yn iawn y bydd athrawon twyllodrus yn dod i'ch plith chi cyn gynted ag y bydda i wedi mynd, fel bleiddiaid gwyllt yn llarpio'r praidd. 30Bydd hyd yn oed rhai o'ch pobl chi'ch hunain yn twistio'r gwirionedd i geisio denu dilynwyr iddyn nhw eu hunain. 31Felly gwyliwch eich hunain! Cofiwch mod i wedi'ch rhybuddio chi ddydd a nos, a cholli dagrau lawer am y tair blynedd roeddwn i gyda chi. 32“Dw i'n eich gadael chi yng ngofal Duw bellach, a'r neges am ei gariad a'i haelioni. Y neges yma sy'n eich adeiladu chi a rhoi etifeddiaeth i chi gyda phawb arall mae wedi eu cysegru iddo'i hun. 33Dw i ddim wedi ceisio cael arian na dillad gan neb. 34Dych chi'n gwybod yn iawn mod i wedi gweithio'n galed i dalu fy ffordd a chynnal fy ffrindiau. 35Drwy'r cwbl roeddwn i'n dangos sut bydden ni'n gallu helpu'r tlodion drwy weithio'n galed. Dych chi'n cofio fod yr Arglwydd Iesu ei hun wedi dweud: ‘Mae rhoi yn llawer gwell na derbyn.’” 36Ar ôl dweud hyn i gyd, aeth ar ei liniau i weddïo gyda nhw. 37Dyma pawb yn dechrau crïo wrth gofleidio Paul a'i gusanu. 38(Roedden nhw'n arbennig o drist am ei fod wedi dweud y bydden nhw ddim yn ei weld byth eto.) How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
