1Digwyddodd yr un peth yn Iconium ▼▼14:1 Roedd Iconium, Lystra a Derbe (Actau 14:6) yn drefi yn y wlad dŷn ni'n ei hadnabod fel Twrci.

Aeth Paul a Barnabas i'r synagog Iddewig, a siarad mor dda nes bod nifer fawr o Iddewon a phobl o genhedloedd eraill wedi credu. 2Ond dyma'r Iddewon oedd yn gwrthod credu yn codi twrw ymhlith pobl y cenhedloedd a'u troi nhw'n hollol yn erbyn y brodyr. 3Arhosodd Paul a Barnabas yno am amser hir, yn dal ati i siarad yn gwbl ddi-ofn am yr Arglwydd. Ac roedd yr Arglwydd yn profi fod y neges am ei ddaioni yn wir drwy roi'r gallu iddyn nhw wneud gwyrthiau rhyfeddol oedd yn dangos ei fod e gyda nhw. 4Roedd pobl y ddinas wedi eu rhannu; rhai yn ochri gyda'r Iddewon, a'r lleill o blaid yr apostolion. 5Dyma rai o bobl y cenhedloedd, gyda'r Iddewon a'u harweinwyr, yn cynllwyn i ymosod ar Paul a Barnabas a'u lladd drwy daflu cerrig atyn nhw. 6Ond clywon nhw beth oedd ar y gweill, a dianc i'r ardal o gwmpas Lystra a Derbe yn Lycaonia. 7A dyma nhw'n mynd ati i gyhoeddi'r newyddion da yno. 8Yn Lystra dyma nhw'n dod ar draws rhyw ddyn oedd ag anabledd yn ei draed; roedd wedi ei eni felly ac erioed wedi gallu cerdded. 9Roedd yn gwrando ar Paul yn siarad. Roedd Paul yn edrych arno, a gwelodd fod gan y dyn ffydd y gallai gael ei iacháu. 10Meddai wrtho yng nghlyw pawb, “Saf ar dy draed!”, a dyma'r dyn yn neidio ar ei draed yn y fan a'r lle ac yn dechrau cerdded. 11Pan welodd y dyrfa beth wnaeth Paul, dyma nhw'n dechrau gweiddi yn iaith Lycaonia, “Mae'r duwiau wedi dod i lawr aton ni fel dynion!” 12Dyma nhw'n penderfynu mai y duw Zews oedd Barnabas, ac mai Hermes oedd Paul (gan mai fe oedd yn gwneud y siarad). 13Dyma offeiriad o deml Zews, oedd ychydig y tu allan i'r ddinas, yn dod â theirw a thorchau o flodau at giatiau'r ddinas, gyda'r bwriad o gyflwyno aberthau iddyn nhw. 14Ond pan ddeallodd y ddau beth oedd yn mynd ymlaen, dyma nhw'n rhwygo eu dillad ac yn rhuthro allan i ganol y dyrfa, yn gweiddi: 15“Na! Na! Ffrindiau! Pam dych chi'n gwneud hyn? Pobl gyffredin fel chi ydyn ni! Dŷn ni wedi dod â newyddion da i chi! Rhaid i chi droi cefn ar y pethau diwerth yma, a chredu yn y Duw byw. Dyma'r Duw wnaeth greu popeth – yr awyr a'r ddaear a'r môr a'r cwbl sydd ynddyn nhw! 16Yn y gorffennol gadawodd i'r cenhedloedd fynd eu ffordd eu hunain, 17ond mae digonedd o dystiolaeth o'i ddaioni o'ch cwmpas chi: mae'n rhoi glaw ac yn gwneud i gnydau dyfu yn eu tymor – i chi gael digon o fwyd, ac i'ch bywydau fod yn llawn o lawenydd.” 18Ond cafodd Paul a Barnabas drafferth ofnadwy i rwystro'r dyrfa rhag aberthu iddyn nhw hyd yn oed ar ôl dweud hyn i gyd. 19Ond wedyn dyma Iddewon o Antiochia ac Iconium yn cyrraedd yno a llwyddo i droi'r dyrfa yn eu herbyn. A dyma nhw'n dechrau taflu cerrig at Paul a'i lusgo allan o'r dref, gan dybio ei fod wedi marw. 20Ond ar ôl i'r credinwyr yno gasglu o'i gwmpas, cododd ar ei draed a mynd yn ôl i mewn i'r dref. Y diwrnod wedyn aeth yn ei flaen gyda Barnabas i Derbe. 21Buon nhw'n cyhoeddi'r newyddion da yno, a daeth nifer fawr o bobl yn ddisgyblion i Iesu y Meseia.Y daith yn ôl i Antiochia yn Syria
Ar ôl hynny dyma nhw'n mynd yn ôl i Lystra, Iconium ac Antiochia Pisidia. 22Dyma nhw'n cryfhau ffydd y disgyblion a'u hannog i aros yn ffyddlon. “Rhaid gadael i Dduw deyrnasu yn ein bywydau i ni allu wynebu'r holl drafferthion,” medden nhw. 23Peth arall wnaeth Paul a Barnabas oedd penodi grŵp o arweinwyr ym mhob eglwys. Ar ôl ymprydio a gweddïo dyma nhw'n eu gadael yng ngofal yr Arglwydd roedden nhw wedi credu ynddo. 24Wedyn dyma nhw'n mynd yn eu blaenau i Pisidia ac yna i Pamffilia, 25ac ar ôl pregethu'r newyddion da yn Perga mynd yn eu blaenau i Atalia. 26Wedyn hwylio o Atalia yn ôl i Antiochia Syria. (Dyna lle gwnaethon nhw gael eu cyflwyno i ofal Duw i wneud y gwaith roedden nhw bellach wedi ei orffen.) 27Yno dyma nhw'n galw'r eglwys at ei gilydd a dweud am y cwbl roedd Duw wedi ei wneud trwyddyn nhw, a sut oedd wedi rhoi'r cyfle i bobl o genhedloedd eraill ddod i gredu. 28Wedyn dyma nhw'n aros gyda'r Cristnogion yn Antiochia am amser hir.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
