Palas Solomon
1Ond roedd palas Solomon wedi cymryd un deg tair o flynyddoedd i'w adeiladu. 2Galwodd e'n Blas Coedwig Libanus. Roedd yn bedwar deg pedwar metr o hyd, dau ddeg dau metr o led ac un deg tri metr a hanner o uchder. Roedd tair ▼▼7:2 tair Hebraeg, “pedair” (ond gw. adn.3)
rhes o bileri cedrwydd ynddo, ac ar ben y pileri roedd trawstiau o gedrwydd. 3Wedyn roedd to o gedrwydd uwchben y trawstiau oedd yn gorwedd ar y pedwar deg pum piler (un deg pump ym mhob rhes). 4Ac roedd yna dri set o dair o ffenestri'n wynebu'i gilydd. 5Roedd fframiau'r drysau a'r ffenestri'n siâp petryal. 6Roedd yna neuadd golofnog oedd yn ddau ddeg dau metr o hyd ac un deg tri metr a hanner o led. O flaen hon roedd cyntedd gyda pileri a canopi drosto. 7Yna gwnaeth Neuadd yr Orsedd, lle roedd yn barnu'r bobl (y Neuadd Farn). Roedd hi'n gedrwydd i gyd o'r llawr i'r to. 8Roedd y tŷ lle roedd Solomon yn byw yr ochr draw i iard oedd tu cefn i'r Neuadd yma, ac wedi ei adeiladu i gynllun tebyg. Roedd e hefyd wedi adeiladu palas arall tebyg i'w wraig, sef merch y Pharo. ▼▼7:8 Pharo Siamwn falle (oedd yn teyrnasu o tua 976 i 974 CC)
9Roedd yr adeiladau i gyd wedi eu codi'n gyfan gwbl gyda'r cerrig gorau, oedd wedi eu naddu i'w maint a'u llyfnhau wedyn gyda llif. Ac roedd yr iard fawr y tu allan yr un fath. 10Roedd y sylfeini wedi eu gwneud o gerrig anferth drudfawr, rhai yn mesur pedwar metr a hanner, a rhai eraill yn dri metr a hanner. 11Ar y sylfeini hynny roedd popeth wedi ei adeiladu gyda'r cerrig gorau, pob un wedi ei naddu i'r maint cywir, a gyda choed cedrwydd. 12O gwmpas yr iard fawr roedd wal wedi ei hadeiladu gyda tair rhes o gerrig wedi eu naddu ac yna paneli o goed cedrwydd. Roedd yr un fath â iard fewnol a cyntedd Teml yr Arglwydd. Gwaith Hiram y crefftwr pres
13Yna dyma'r Brenin Solomon yn anfon i Tyrus am ddyn o'r enw Hiram. 14Roedd Hiram yn grefftwr medrus, profiadol yn gweithio gyda pres. Roedd yn fab i wraig weddw o lwyth Nafftali, ac roedd ei dad (oedd yn dod o Tyrus) wedi bod yn weithiwr pres o'i flaen. Roedd gan Hiram allu arbennig i drin pres. Daeth at y Brenin Solomon a gwneud yr holl waith pres iddo.Y ddau biler pres
(2 Cronicl 3:15-17) 15Hiram wnaeth y ddau biler pres – oedd bron naw metr o uchder a dau fetr ar draws. 16Yna gwnaeth gapiau i'w gosod ar dop y ddau biler. Roedd y capiau yma, o bres wedi ei gastio, dros ddau fetr o uchder. 17Roedd rhwyllwaith gyda saith rhes o batrymau tebyg i gadwyni wedi eu plethu o gwmpas y capiau, 18a hefyd dwy res o bomgranadau, nes bod top y pileri wedi eu gorchuddio. 19Roedd top y ddau biler yn y cyntedd yn agor allan yn siâp lilïau oedd bron ddau fetr o uchder. 20Ar dop y ddau biler, uwch ben y darn crwn gyda'r patrymau o gadwyni wedi eu plethu, roedd dau gant o bomgranadau yn rhesi o'u cwmpas. 21Dyma Hiram yn gosod y ddau biler yn y cyntedd o flaen y brif neuadd yn y deml. Galwodd yr un ar y dde yn Iachin a'r un ar y chwith yn Boas. 22Roedd top y pileri yn agor allan yn siâp lilïau. Felly cafodd y gwaith ar y pileri ei orffen."Y Môr"
(2 Cronicl 4:2-5) 23Yna dyma fe'n gwneud basn anferth i ddal dŵr. Roedd hwn wedi ei wneud o bres wedi ei gastio, ac yn cael ei alw "Y Môr". Roedd yn bedwar metr a hanner ar draws o un ochr i'r llall, dros ddau fetr o ddyfnder ac un deg tri metr a hanner o'i hamgylch. 24O gwmpas "Y Môr", o dan y rhimyn, roedd dwy res o addurniadau bach siâp ffrwyth cicaion, un bob rhyw bedwar centimetr a hanner. 25Roedd "Y Môr" wedi ei osod ar gefn un deg dau ychen. Roedd tri yn wynebu tua'r gogledd, tri tua'r gorllewin, tri tua'r de a thri tua'r dwyrain. Roedden nhw i gyd yn wynebu tuag allan gyda'u cynffonnau at i mewn. 26Roedd y basn tua lled dwrn o drwch, ac roedd ei ymyl fel ymyl cwpan siâp blodyn lili. Roedd yn dal bron iawn bedwar deg pum mil litr o ddŵr.Y trolïau pres
27Gwnaeth Hiram ddeg troli ddŵr o bres hefyd. Roedd pob un yn ddau fetr o hyd, yn ddau o led a bron yn fetr a hanner o uchder. 28Dyma gynllun y trolïau: roedd ganddyn nhw fframiau yn dal paneli ar yr ochr. 29Roedd y paneli wedi eu haddurno gyda lluniau o lewod, ychen a ceriwbiaid. Ar y fframiau, uwchben ac o dan y llewod a'r ychen, roedd patrymau wedi eu plethu. 30Roedd gan bob troli bedair olwyn bres ar echelau pres. Ar bob cornel roedd silff fach i'r ddysgl eistedd arni. Roedd y rhain yn rhan o'r troli ac wedi eu haddurno gyda phlethiadau. 31Tu mewn i'r troli roedd ffrâm crwn, pedwar deg pump centimetr o ddyfnder, i ddal y ddysgl. Roedd yn gylch saith deg centimetr ar draws. O gwmpas y geg roedd border o addurniadau. Roedd y paneli'n sgwâr ac nid crwn. 32Roedd pedair olwyn o dan y paneli, ac roedd soced i ddal echel pob olwyn yn sownd yn y ffrâm. Saith deg centimetr oedd uchder yr olwynion. 33Roedd yr olwynion wedi eu gwneud fel olwynion cerbyd rhyfel. Roedd yr echel, yr ymyl, y sbôcs a'r both i gyd o fetel wedi ei gastio. 34Roedd pedair silff fach ar bedair cornel y troli, ac roedd y silffoedd wedi eu gwneud yn rhan o'r ffrâm. 35Ar dop y troli roedd cylch crwn dau ddeg centimetr o uchder. Ar ei dop hefyd roedd cylchoedd a phaneli yn sownd ynddo. 36Roedd wedi cerfio ceriwbiaid, llewod a choed palmwydd ar y paneli roedd y cylchoedd yn sownd iddyn nhw. Roedd y rhain wedi eu cerfio ble bynnag roedd lle iddyn nhw, ac o'u cwmpas nhw roedd patrymau wedi eu plethu. 37Roedd y deg troli dŵr yr un fath. Roedd wedi defnyddio'r un mowld. Roedd pob un yr un maint a'r un siâp. 38Yna dyma fe'n gwneud deg dysgl bres. Roedd pob dysgl yn ddau fetr o led ac yn dal wyth gant wyth deg litr. Roedd un ddysgl ar gyfer pob un o'r deg troli. 39Dyma fe'n gosod pum troli ar ochr y de yn y deml, a phump ar ochr y gogledd. Roedd "Y Môr" yn y gornel oedd i'r de-ddwyrain o'r deml. 40Dyma Hiram hefyd yn gwneud dysglau, rhawiau a powlenni. (2 Cronicl 4:11—5:1) 41Roedd wedi gwneud: y ddau biler, y capiau i'w gosod ar ben y ddau biler, dau set o batrymau wedi eu plethu i fynd dros y capiau, 42pedwar cant o bomgranadau i'w gosod yn ddwy res ar y ddau set o batrymau oedd wedi eu plethu ar y capiau ar ben y pileri. 43Hefyd y deg troli ddŵr, a'r deg dysgl i fynd ar y deg troli, 44y basn anferth oedd yn cael ei alw "Y Môr", gyda'r un deg dau ychen oddi tano, 45a hefyd y bwcedi lludw, rhawiau a powlenni taenellu. Roedd yr holl gelfi yma wnaeth Hiram i'r Brenin Solomon ar gyfer teml yr Arglwydd wedi eu gwneud o bres gloyw. 46Roedd y cwbl wedi cael eu castio mewn clai yn y ffowndri sydd rhwng Swccoth a Sarethan, yn ardal yr Iorddonen. 47Wnaeth Solomon ddim pwyso'r cwbl am fod cymaint ohonyn nhw; does dim posib gwybod beth oedd eu pwysau. 48Dyma Solomon yn gwneud yr holl bethau yma ar gyfer teml yr Arglwydd hefyd: yr allor aur, y bwrdd aur roedden nhw'n gosod y bara cysegredig arno o flaen yr Arglwydd, 49y canwyllbrennau o aur pur wrth y fynedfa i'r gell fewnol gysegredig (pump ar yr ochr dde a pump ar y chwith). Hefyd roedd y blodau, y lampau a'r gefeiliau wedi eu gwneud o aur. 50Yna y powlenni taenellu, y sisyrnau, y dysglau, y llwyau, a'r padellau tân, i gyd o aur pur. Roedd socedi'r drysau i'r cysegr mewnol (y Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd) ac i brif neuadd y deml wedi eu gwneud o aur hefyd. 51Wedi i'r Brenin Solomon orffen adeiladu'r deml i'r Arglwydd, dyma fe'n dod â'r holl bethau roedd ei dad Dafydd wedi eu cysegru i Dduw (arian, aur a chelfi eraill), a'u rhoi yn stordai teml yr Arglwydd.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
