1Felly dilynwch fy esiampl i, fel dw i'n dilyn esiampl y Meseia.Addoliad Gweddus
2Mae'n rhaid i mi eich canmol chi am ‛ddal i gofio amdana i, ac am ddal gafael yn y traddodiadau wnes i eu pasio ymlaen i chi‛! 3Ond rhaid i chi ddeall bod bywyd pob dyn yn tarddu o'r Meseia, a bod bywyd gwraig yn tarddu o'r dyn, ac mai o Dduw mae bywyd y Meseia yn tarddu. 4Mae pob dyn sy'n gweddïo neu'n proffwydo gyda rhywbeth ar ei ben yn colli ei hunan-barch. 5Ac mae pob gwraig sy'n gweddïo neu'n proffwydo heb orchuddio'i phen yn dangos diffyg hunan-barch – mae'n union fel petai hi wedi eillio ei phen. 6Os ydy gwraig ddim am orchuddio'i phen, dylai gael gwared â'i gwallt. Ac os ydy e'n beth cywilyddus i wraig gael gwared â'i gwallt neu gael ei heillio, dylai felly orchuddio ei phen. 7Ddylai dyn ddim gorchuddio'i ben am ei fod yn ddelw Duw ac yn dangos ei ysblander; ond dangos ysblander dyn mae'r wraig. 8Nid dyn ddaeth o wraig, ond y wraig ddaeth o ddyn. 9A chafodd dyn ddim ei greu er mwyn y wraig, ond y wraig er mwyn dyn. 10Dyna pam dylai gwraig gadw rheolaeth ar y ffordd mae pobl yn edrych arni – ac o achos yr angylion hefyd. 11Beth bynnag, yn yr Arglwydd dydy gwraig a dyn ddim yn annibynnol ar ei gilydd. 12Mae'n wir fod y wraig wedi dod o'r dyn, ond mae'n wir hefyd fod pob dyn yn cael ei eni o wraig. Ac o Dduw mae'r cwbl yn tarddu yn y pen draw. 13Beth ydy'ch barn chi? Ydy hi'n weddus i wraig weddïo ar Dduw heb orchudd ar ei phen? 14Ydy natur ei hun ddim yn dysgu hyn i chi: os ydy gwallt hir yn diraddio dyn, 15ei bod yn beth anrhydeddus i wraig gael gwallt hir? Mae ei gwallt hir wedi ei roi iddi hi fel gorchudd. 16Os ydy rhywun am ddadlau am hyn, does gynnon ni ddim arfer gwahanol. A does gan eglwysi Duw ddim chwaith.Swper yr Arglwydd

Mae'n ymddangos fod eich cyfarfodydd chi'n gwneud mwy o ddrwg nag o dda. 18Dw i'n clywed yn gyntaf fod rhaniadau yn eich plith chi pan fyddwch yn cyfarfod fel eglwys, a dw i'n credu'r peth i ryw raddau. 19“Mae'n amhosib osgoi gwahaniaethau” meddech chi, ac mae hynny i fod i ddangos yn glir ar ochr pwy mae Duw, ydy e? 20Os felly, dim Swper yr Arglwydd dych chi'n ei fwyta pan ddowch at eich gilydd! 21Mae rhai pobl yn bwrw iddi i fwyta heb feddwl am neb arall. A'r canlyniad ydy bod rhai yn llwgu tra mae eraill wedi meddwi! 22Oes gynnoch chi ddim cartrefi i bartïo ac i yfed ynddyn nhw? Neu dych chi wir am fwrw sen ar eglwys Dduw, a chodi cywilydd ar y bobl hynny sydd heb ddim? Beth alla i ei ddweud? Ydw i'n mynd i'ch canmol chi? Na, dim o gwbwl! 23Dw i wedi rhannu gyda chi beth wnes i ei dderbyn gan yr Arglwydd: Ar y noson honno pan gafodd ei fradychu cymerodd yr Arglwydd Iesu dorth. 24Ar ôl adrodd y weddi o ddiolch, dyma fe'n ei thorri a dweud, “Dyma fy nghorff, sy'n cael ei roi drosoch chi. Gwnewch hyn i gofio amdana i.” a 25Wedyn gwnaeth yr un peth ar ôl swper pan gymerodd y cwpan a dweud, “Mae'r cwpan yma'n cynrychioli'r ymrwymiad newydd mae Duw'n ei wneud, wedi ei selio gyda fy ngwaed i. Gwnewch hyn i gofio amdana i bob tro y byddwch yn yfed ohono.” b 26Bob tro byddwch chi'n bwyta'r bara ac yn yfed o'r cwpan, byddwch yn cyhoeddi ystyr marwolaeth yr Arglwydd nes iddo ddod yn ôl eto. 27Felly, bydd pwy bynnag sy'n bwyta'r bara neu'n yfed o gwpan yr Arglwydd mewn ffordd sy'n anweddus yn cael ei gyfri'n euog o bechu yn erbyn corff a gwaed yr Arglwydd. 28Dyna pam mae'n bwysig edrych yn fanwl ar ein bywydau cyn bwyta'r bara ac yfed o'r cwpan. 29Mae pawb sy'n bwyta ac yfed yn ddifeddwl, heb gydnabod ein bod gyda'n gilydd yn ‛gorff yr Arglwydd‛ yn bwyta ac yfed barn arnyn nhw eu hunain. 30Dyna pam mae cymaint ohonoch chi'n dioddef o wendid a salwch, a pam mae rhai hyd yn oed wedi marw. 31Petaen ni'n gwylio'n hymddygiad yn ofalus, fyddai dim rhaid i ni gael ein barnu. 32Ond hyd yn oed pan fyddwn yn cael ein barnu gan yr Arglwydd, ein disgyblu mae e'n ei wneud, dim ein condemnio gyda'r byd. 33Felly pan fyddwch chi'n dod at eich gilydd i fwyta, frodyr a chwiorydd, arhoswch nes bydd pawb wedi cyrraedd. 34Os ydy rhywun bron llwgu, dylai fwyta gartref, wedyn fydd eich cyfarfodydd chi gyda'ch gilydd ddim yn arwain i farn. How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
