Roedden nhw ar ddyletswydd yn y drefn oedd wedi ei gosod. 33Dyma'r rhai oedd yn y swydd yma, nhw a'u meibion: Disgynyddion Cohath: Heman y cerddor, mab Joel oedd a'i linach yn estyn yn ôl trwy Samuel, 34Elcana, Ierocham, Eliel, Toach, 35Swff, Elcana, Machat, Amasai, 36Elcana, Joel, Asareia, Seffaneia, 37Tachath, Assir, Ebiasaff, Cora, 38Its'har, Cohath, i Lefi. 39Yna Asaff, un arall o lwyth Lefi, oedd yn ei helpu. Asaff oedd mab Berecheia, a'i linach yn estyn yn ôl trwy Shimea, 40Michael, Baaseia, Malcîa, 41Ethni, Serach, Adaia, 42Ethan, Simma, Shimei, 43Iachath, a Gershom, i Lefi. 44Yna, yn eu helpu nhw, roedd eraill o lwyth Lefi oedd yn ddisgynyddion i Merari. Eu harweinydd nhw oedd Ethan fab Cishi, oedd a'i linach yn estyn yn ôl trwy Afdi, Malŵch, 45Chashafeia, Amaseia, Chilceia, 46Amtsi, Bani, Shemer, 47Machli, Mwshi, a Merari, i Lefi. 48Roedd gweddill y Lefiaid yn gyfrifol am bopeth arall roedd angen ei wneud yn y tabernacl, sef cysegr Duw.Disgynyddion Aaron
49Ond Aaron a'i feibion oedd yn gweini wrth yr allor lle roedd anifeiliaid yn cael eu llosgi a'r allor lle roedd arogldarth yn cael ei losgi. Nhw, felly, oedd yn gwneud yn gwaith yn y Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd. 54A dyma'r ardaloedd lle roedd disgynyddion Aaron yn byw: Dyma'r ardaloedd gafodd eu rhoi i glan Cohath (Nhw oedd y grŵp cyntaf i gael eu rhan): 55Dyma nhw'n cael tref Hebron yn Jwda, a'r tir pori o'i chwmpas. 56(Ond roedd caeau'r dref a'r pentrefi o'i chwmpas wedi eu rhoi i Caleb fab Jeffwnne.)57Cafodd disgynyddion Aaron y trefi lloches canlynol hefyd: Hebron, Libna, Iattir, Eshtemoa, 58Cholon, Debir, 59Ashan, a Beth-shemesh, a'r tir pori o gwmpas pob un.
60Yna o fewn tiriogaeth llwyth Benjamin dyma nhw'n cael Geba, Alemeth, Anathoth, a'r tir pori o gwmpas y rheiny.
Felly cafodd eu claniau nhw un deg tair o drefi i gyd. 61A cafodd gweddill disgynyddion Cohath ddeg pentref oedd o fewn i diriogaeth hanner llwyth Manasse. 62Cafodd claniau Gershom un deg tair o drefi oedd o fewn tiriogaeth llwythau Issachar, Asher, Nafftali a Manasse
63Cafodd claniau Merari un deg dwy o drefi oedd o fewn tiriogaeth llwythau Reuben, Gad a Sabulon.
64Rhoddodd pobl Israel y trefi yma, a'r tir pori o'u cwmpas, i lwyth Lefi. 65Roedd y trefi yma, o diriogaeth Jwda, Simeon a Benjamin, wedi eu henwi ymlaen llaw. 66Cafodd rhai o deuluoedd disgynyddion Cohath dir o fewn tiriogaeth llwyth Effraim. 67Sichem, ym mryniau Effraim, Geser, 68Jocmeam, a Beth-choron, 69Aialon, a Gath-rimmon a'r tir pori o gwmpas pob un.
70O diriogaeth hanner llwyth Manasse dyma weddill disgynyddion Cohath yn cael Aner a Bileam, a'r tir pori o'u cwmpas nhw.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
