3Meibion Jwda: Er, Onan a Shela. (Cafodd y tri yma eu geni i wraig o Canaan, sef merch Shwa.) Roedd Er, mab hynaf Jwda, yn gwneud pethau oedd ddim yn plesio'r Arglwydd, felly dyma'r Arglwydd yn ei ladd e. 4Yna dyma Tamar, merch-yng-nghyfraith Jwda yn cael dau fab iddo – sef Perets a Serach. Felly roedd gan Jwda bump mab i gyd. 5Meibion Perets: Hesron a Chamŵl. 6Meibion Serach: Simri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol a Dara – pump i gyd. 7Mab Carmi: Achar, yr un achosodd helynt i Israel drwy ddwyn beth oedd wedi ei gysegru i Dduw. 8Mab Ethan: Asareia. 9Meibion Hesron: Ierachmeël, Ram a Caleb ▼▼2:9 Caleb Hebraeg, “Celwbai”. 18Cafodd Caleb fab Hesron blant gyda'i wraig Aswba a gyda Ierioth. Ei meibion hi oedd Jeser, Shofaf ac Ardon. 19Pan fuodd Aswba farw, dyma Caleb yn priodi Effrath, a cafodd hi fab arall iddo, sef Hur. 20Hur oedd tad Wri, ac Wri oedd tad Betsalel. 21Dyma Hesron yn cael rhyw gyda merch i Machir (tad Gilead). Roedd e wedi ei phriodi pan oedd yn chwe deg oed. A dyma hi'n cael mab iddo, sef Segwf. 22Segwf oedd tad Jair, oedd yn berchen dau ddeg tri o bentrefi yn ardal Gilead. 23(Ond dyma Geshwr a Syria yn dal pentrefi Jair, a tref Cenath hefyd gyda'r chwe deg pentref o'i chwmpas.) Roedd y rhain i gyd yn ddisgynyddion i Machir, tad Gilead. 24Ar ôl i Hesron farw dyma Caleb ei fab yn cael rhyw gydag Effrath, gweddw ei dad. A dyma hi'n cael mab iddo fe, sef Ashchwr, ddaeth yn dad i Tecoa.Disgynyddion Ierachmeël
25Meibion Ierachmeël, mab hynaf Hesron: Ram (yr hynaf), Bwna, Oren, Otsem ac Achïa. 26Ac roedd gan Ierachmeël wraig arall o'r enw Atara, a hi oedd mam Onam. 27Meibion Ram (mab hynaf Ierachmeël): Maas, Iamin ac Ecer. 28Meibion Onam: Shammai a Iada. Meibion Shammai: Nadab ac Abishŵr. 29Gwraig Abishŵr oedd Abihail, gafodd ddau blentyn iddo, sef Achban a Molid. 30Meibion Nadab: Seled ac Appaïm. How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
