Proverbs 1
Книгата съдържа сборник от притчи, принадлежащи на различни автори. Основният автор безспорно е Соломон (според 3 Царе 4:29-34), но са споменати също и „мъдрите“(22:17), приближените на Юдейския цар Езекия – книжовници (25:1), Агур, цар на Масса (30:1), и Лемуил – по-точно неговата майка (31:1). Според еврейското предание Соломон е писал своите притчи в помещенията на храма. Това е може би вярно само за известна част от написаното в книгата Притчи, но като цяло книгата е сглобена много по-късно по времето на Исайя (втората половина на VIII в. пр. Хр.) или най-вероятно след връщането на евреите от Вавилонския плен (около средата на VI в. пр. Хр.). По съдържанието си книгата принадлежи към назидателно-поучителната литература. Използвана е традиционната древна литературна форма – притча (евр. машал), което означава мъдрост, иносказание, позволяващо да се сравнят явленията във физическия свят с тези в духовния свят. Този начин на описание съответства на мъдростта и на околните на Израил народи, с която еврейските мъдреци са били добре запознати. Очевидно е, че Исус е обичал притчите (образни сравнения с примери от животинския и растителния свят) и много от Неговите проповеди са изказани във формата на притчи. В някои от новозаветните послания са използвани също цитати от книгата Притчи (Рим. 12:20 – Притчи 25:21).УВОД

20 q Превъзходната мъдрост прогласява по улиците,издига гласа си по площадите,
21 вика по главните места на пазарите,
при входовете на портите,

22 Глупави, докога ще обичате глупостта?
Присмивателите докога ще се наслаждават на насмешките си
и безумните ще мразят знанието?
23 r Обърнете се при изобличението ми.
Ето, аз ще излея духа си на вас,
ще ви направя да разберете словата ми.
24 s Понеже аз виках, а вие отказахте да слушате,
понеже протягах ръката си, а никой не внимаваше,
25 t но отхвърлихте съвета ми
и не приехте изобличението ми –
26 u то и аз ще се смея на вашето бедствие,
ще се присмея, когато ви нападне страхът,
27 v когато ви нападне страхът – като опустошителна буря,
и бедствието ви се устреми като вихрушка,
когато скръб и мъка ви нападнат,
28 w тогава те ще призоват, но аз няма да отговоря,
ревностно ще ме търсят, но няма да ме намерят.
29 x Понеже намразиха знанието
и не разбраха страха от Господа ,
30 y не приеха съвета ми
и презряха цялото ми изобличение,
31 z затова ще ядат от плодовете на своя си път
и ще се наситят от своите си измислици.
32 Защото глупавите ще бъдат умъртвени
от собственото си отстъпване
и безумните ще бъдат погубени от своето си безгрижие.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
