1 a След пет дни първосвещеникът Анания слезе с някои старейшини и с един ритор на име Тертил, които подадоха до управителя жалба против Павел. 2 И като го повикаха, Тертил почна да го обвинява, като казваше: Понеже чрез тебе, честити Феликсе, се радваме на голямо спокойствие и понеже чрез твоята предвидливост се поправят злини в този наш народ, 3 то ние с пълна благодарност по всякакъв начин и навсякъде посрещаме това. 4 Но за да не те отегчаваме повече, моля те за снизхождение и да ни изслушаш накратко; 5 b понеже намерихме, че този човек е заразител и размирник между всички юдеи по света, още и водач на назарейската ерес; 6 c който се опита и храма да оскверни; но ние го хванахме и поискахме да го съдим по нашия закон; 7 d но хилядникът Лисий дойде и с голямо насилие го изтръгна от ръцете ни и заповяда на обвинителите му да дойдат при теб. 8 e А ти, като сам го разпиташ, ще можеш да узнаеш от него всичко това, за което го обвиняваме. 9 И юдеите потвърдиха, като казаха, че това е вярно.Павел се защитава пред управителя Феликс
10 А когато управителят кимна на Павел да вземе думата, той отговори: Понеже зная, че от много години ти си бил съдия на този народ, аз на драго сърце говоря в своя защита, 11 f защото можеш да научиш, че преди не повече от дванадесет дни отидох на поклонение в Йерусалим. 12 g И не са ме намирали нито в храма, нито в синагогите, нито в града да се препирам с никого или да размирявам народа. 13 И те не могат да докажат пред тебе това, за което ме обвиняват сега. 14 h Но това изповядвам пред тебе, че според учението ▼▼ 24:14 От гр. пътя.
, което те наричат ерес, така служа на бащиния ни Бог, като вярвам във всичко, което е по закона и е писано в пророците, 15 j и се надявам на Бога, че ще има възкресение на праведни и неправедни, което и те сами приемат. 16 k Затова и аз се старая да имам винаги непорочна съвест и спрямо Бога, и спрямо човеците. 17 l А след като изминаха много години, дойдох да донеса на народа си милостини и приноси. 18 m А когато ги принасях, те ме намериха в храма очистен, без да има навалица или размирие; 19 n но имаше някои юдеи от Азия, които трябваше да се представят пред теб и да ме обвинят, ако имаха нещо против мен. 20 Или тези сами нека кажат каква неправда са намерили в мене, когато застанах пред Синедриона, 21 o освен ако е само в този вик, който нададох, като стоях между тях: Поради учението за възкресението на мъртвите ме съдите днес. 22 p А Феликс, като познаваше доста добре това учение, отложи делото, като каза: Когато слезе хилядникът Лисий, ще разреша делото ви. 23 q И заповяда на стотника да пазят Павел, но да му дават известна свобода и да не възпират никого от приятелите му да му прислужва. 24 След няколко дни Феликс дойде с жена си Друзила, която беше юдейка, и прати да повикат Павел, от когото слуша за вярата в Христос Исус. 25 И когато той говореше за правда, за себеобуздание и за идващия съд, Феликс уплашен отговори: Засега си иди; и когато намеря време, ще те повикам. 26 r Между това той се надяваше, че ще получи пари от Павел, затова и по-честичко го викаше и приказваше с него. 27 s Но като изминаха две години, Феликс бе заместен от Порций Фест; а понеже искаше да спечели благоволението на юдеите, Феликс остави Павел в окови.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
